Installed fine , everything works fine except terrain.

Yesterday I uninstalled MS-FSX. I cleaned every trace of FSX. I than installed FSX-SE. Today I wanted to install v.1.08.0010 of the GNS. However I got an error saying: How do I correct this issue? Ultimately I want the GNS unit's to function in FSX-SE and P3Dv3.1. Thanks for any advice.

Hi, Has anyone succeeded to install the Mindstar G1000 in the Carenado SR22 ? In the Mindstar documentation (http://www.mindstaraviation.com/G1000_Retrofit.html), a style called "Cirrus SR22" exists ! Or is it just impossible ? Thanks for the answer

Is there a way to load Victor Airways in G1000? I recall that when I was doing my IFR training, I was able to load the Victor Airways in the Red Bird sims.

I am a member of the Naperville Flying Club in Naperville, IL and teach other members in our four single engine aircraft. Hello I have both FSX Boxed and FSX Steam due scenery reasons (one for ORBX the other for regular FSX autogen) I was able to install both GNS and G1000 on FSX boxed but the installer doesn't seems to show the option between both versions of FSX.It goes directly to FSX boxed version. I was able to edit manually the fsx steam dll,.xml to allow hypergauge to be recognized, having it at FSX SE modules. it recognize it and after that during loading, FSX SE asks if they are trusted including MPI gauges, but it fails after loading (having a true path to steam fsx edited on the dll.xml) but ....if I point the path to the hypergauge installed at FSX Boxed module, it loads! wi…

Hi, I'd like to report an error or request a feature. When I navigate to the flightplan page and try to change the fields it won't take effect. I'd like to change the last (distance) field to ETA to monitor when I will be arriving at my destination. The column header does change but the value in the column remains distance to waypoint :( When I change the field in the nav page it works, but this is only to the next waypoint. It would be a success , many pilots are wanting it. Better than ther Garmin 430 and 530 and easier and better than the 650 and 750 Garmins.

I'm getting multiple sim connect failure pop-ups when starting the sim/flight. I read that this was a potential known issue with FSXE, but couldn't find a solution posted. Additionally, I have a panel .cfg question. I am trying to set the panel so that I have 1 430 in the VC, and a clickable pop-up for a separate screen (so only 1 GPS in the aircraft, just 2 ways of viewing/using it). As best I can tell, I have correctly set the .cfg entries, according to the instructions. However, whenever I use the pop-up, the screen goes blank in the VC, until I close the popup. Hi, I notice on the product page that the Mindstar G1000 comes with a GFC700 autopilot unit. Could you please confirm whether this GFC700 has (realistically) working FLC mode included (ie.. that adjusts pitch to maintain speed, rather than using an autothrottle workaround) ? Thanks.

At first I thought that the switch to toggle the NAV/COM frequencies wasn't working. After closer inspection, the button is working but the highlight isn't switching between COM and NAV. The frequencies can be changed but the lighter blue shading isn't changing between the 2. John Navara

Hi Ed I am building a HSI to use with my Mindstar 530 and need to provide an Offset or lvar from the gps to drive the glideslope needle. Are you able to point me in the right direction with this please? I know you have requested LM to implement this previously but I assume they havnt at this point. Thankyou

I had the misfortune of trying to install Reality XP version of the the Garmin 530 into my FSX-SE setup, and found it wouldn't work (Fortunately, I'll get my money back). However, after that experience, I'd like to ask if the Mindstar G1000 and G530 products work in FSX-SE. Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone! I just bought the Mindstar G1000 for my Citation Mustang homecockpit project. Now I need some help with the setup! I have the Flight1 Citation Mustang and I love the physics and the model. But I want the Mindstar G1000 instead of standard F1. I don't want to replace the old with Mindstar in VC or something.. all I want is to have Mindstar G1000 pop-up in the F1 Mustang. Should be possible? But how? Thank's guys! Kind Regard, Oskar

Good morning, had a little issue last night when after selecting the arrival VIBIS3H into Berlin Tegel (EDDT) the flight plan page just went blue and would not respond to anything. In addition, trying to select an arrival again or even an approach, all relevant fields went blank after entering EDDT on the corresponding page. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix? Hi Sir, it's me again, hahahaha, this time I have two little questions. 1) How many times can I re-activate my GNS430/530? I have been having some issues with the computer, now that I want to re-install the GPS, I receive a message stating I have exceeded the amount of licences I have and that I have to re-activate my licences. 2.This RealNav data, is it worldwide information? In other words, by purchasing the licence from RealNav Data, will I receive accurate information for places like Colombia, Venezuela, Perú and that kind of places or just for especific ones? Hello, I'm looking for your experience with the Mindstar G1000 SW in combination with the G1000 HW from CustomSims. I will use it in my cockpit for a C172 (A2A). A next step could be the F1 Mustang and G1000. My cockpit will be sort of generic for both planes (C172 and F1 Mustang). Does anybody see drawbacks? Thanks a lot for your help! Peter

Hi, I don't know if this is normal, so I will ask here... Why is only "Select Approach?" active in the GNS Units? All other options (Activate Vectors-To-Final?, Activate Approach?, Select Arrival?,and Select Departure? are grayed out, I understand some of the them would become available when needed like "Activate Vectors-To-Final?" but why is the Select Departure grayed out? Do I need to update the NavData for them to become available? I have the default one, it expired in Jan 31 2008. Thank you for your help. Regards.

Hi Ed, I bought yesterday GNS 430/530 but when I try to install it in P3D 2.5 I get the message "Unable to install CANCEL\gauges\gaugempi.bin". I have tried un-installing but whan I try to un-install I get the message: "Error 1905.ModuleC:\Windows\SysWOW64\pc30.dll failed to unregister. HRESULT-2147220472 Contact your support personnel".
