Hello Everybody, I try to update the RealNav Data but each time I go in the G1000 I see that the NavData are still from 2006. I have no new approach and no departure at all. I have the G1000 installed on both FSX and P3Dv2 and on all both sim there is no update. I have run the NavUpdate.exe in the Real folder. I try to change in the G1000 config the NAV source in the GPS Tab by selecting RealNav but after pushing on Apply it still come back to Microsoft/Lockheed. Any Idea? Thanks a lot. Chris

Hi Ed, I am considering purchasing your GPS, I just have one question, if I install these units let's say into my Carenado PC-12 replacing the Carenado units, would they show in the VC, as I fly exclusively in the VC, I am hoping that these units would be placed in the aircraft and not just available as a 2D popup. Thanks!!! Another way to put this maybe would be, do you guys have panel templates for payware aircraft so that the integrate into the aircraft's VC? If so, which ones. Hi Ed, I recently purchased GNS430 and I am running it under FS9. I am having 2 issues. 1. I can not switch NAV/GPS to NAV when GNS is powered on. 2. FS crashes when I copy /store active FP to GNS storage. Visual C++ message Points to fprintf.c line 55. I was wondering if I could get some assistance with installing the Mindstar GNS430/530, I recently tried to set it up with the Carenado PC12, and it sort of worked the first time in one of the 2x GNS530 panels where I had the default running alongside the Mindstar version but it has been crashing my Prepar3D exe ever since I quit and tried to set up the second gauge as a secondary Mindstar GNS530. As in, P3D crashes before start up, even though the default scenario is loaded. I've even tried reinstalling Prepar3D clean by itself with just the Mindstar GNS430/530, updated with the latest AIRAC and the program still crashes. Hi all, been trying around with my new GNS and the latest update (i. e. AIRAC cycle 1410) from RealNav Data. What I found so far are missing departure procedures for Berlin-Tegel (EDDT). As you can see in the screen shots provided, there are none, when on other airports, these work flawlessly. No problems either with arrivals in EDDT. Is this a known issue and are there any fixes? I have a question for GNS update: "Added WAAS capability in Conjunction with RealNav Data usage" But in the GNS.ini still stands: WAASENABLED = NO (I have the RealNav data) If I set it to YES manualy, then displays the splash screen as a model GNS 530W ("W" stands for "WAAS") Otherwise GNS 530 "Added replacement Bendix King KI-209 CDI for WAAS support." "Added replacement Garmin GI-106A CDI for WAAS support." Do I need to pay attention to something else? I use the GNS in the A2A Cessna 182 under P3d V2.4. Hi all, starting a new support (more a request) thread here: - Using the G1000, when panning the map, the cursor moves TRUE and not MAGNETIC oriented. This means if you are flying in a region with 20 deg of magnetic declination for example, the cursor will pan offset 20 degrees, in all pan direction. If you are flying over an agonic line, the cursor will move like it should, following the arrows.(0 deg offset) It's a pain creating user waypoints this way. - Also, when panning, with the cursor offset from the aircraft, when you zoom in, or out (range increase or decrease), the map should center to the CURSOR instead of the PLANE, this is very helpful when reviewin…

Hi all, just bought the GNS 430/530 and am trying to buy the latest DB update from RealNavData. However, when trying to purchase, their page keeps telling me the System DB key was invalid. I copied and pasted it from the Mindstar update program in the start menu, so I'm 100% sure that it's the correct key. What is going on here? Hoping for a speedy reply. Thanks in advance. Hello again - sorry! Following your swift and excellent support to get my GNS re-activated for prepar3d, I can't for the life of me get the Carenado c208 AP to follow the GNS in NAV mode. I've installed the GNS into the panel.cfg following your example from the website. Panel.cfg inserted here. Both the 530 and 430 are set to GPS via the CDI button, and the NAV flag appear on the VOR 1 and 2 in the Caravan. Also the NAV/GPS switch in the Caravan responds to the CDI button on the GNS. Hello guys. History: Purchased the GNS back when it was 1.0.0.5. At that time I had both FSX and p3d installed on the system. Meanwhile I've removed FSX and re-installed p3d when upgrading to 2.4 - but didn't install the GNS again, as I went tubeliner. After the release of FTX NOR I decided to take the GA for a spin and wanted to install the Mindstar again. Now I downloaded the new 1.08.0005 installer, and ran it as admin. In the end of the install progress, I get a message; "Unable to install C:\FSX\gauges\gaugempi.bin" (wich is the old path of my FSX installation). Your announcement is a little unclear and website awaits update. Do we now have WAAS in all aircraft in USA or is it just selected autopilots? I installed the gauges using the installer. The installer created two models of the A2A 172 and the default C172. The A2A has numerous issues as follows: 1. The standard pop-ups don't display (hanger, weight/balance, etc) 2, Many of the aircraft's knobs/buttons don't work or won't respond (example starter key) 3. Aircraft won't start, even using the failsafe autostart. I didn't not see anyone else with this problem, so I'm assuming it lies with my set-up. Would appreciate any help.

Hi, I am trying to install the GNS430 on the Coolsky DC-9-30 but no matter what I do it just doesn't work. The last time I tried I got an error message that the hypergauge failed to load and the GNS430 and 530 for all of aircraft installations stopped working. I had to reinstall the product all over again.

Dear all I'm experiencing a problem. When GNS 530 is on can't switch in C 172(installed by default) between GPS/NAV e.g. during ILS approach. When 530 is off then it's no problem. GNS 430 doesn't affect it neither when it's on or off. Simpy when 530 is on can't use radio aids to follow glidslope. Any idea what may be wrong? Martin

Hi, Just bought and installed the G1000 avionics and it's great how it really simulates the real unit buuut ... it brought my system down to its knees, like no other add-on ever did. It must be something wrong, I'm running with a decent set up, but flying with this gauges is simply impossible. Rates are around 6,7 fps. Tested with default Baron and 172. What am I doing wrong? Is it possible to choose simpler configurations/graphics ? Thank you, Rafael

The ledge 1000 G at the default aircraft in VC FSX (172, B58) I myself nothing was done, it appeared after the first installation of 1000 G. Put the latest update, it didn't help.

It appears that when the wings are level according to the bank indicator, the horizon on the PFD is sloping down to the left, as if the plane were in a very slight right turn. You can see this by clearing weather and putting the autopilot in heading mode. Could this be fixed?

Hello, I recently purchased the mindstar GNS430 with RealNav Data Updates for IFR Training. I've experienced the following issue: When I am in NAV View Mode, viewing the map, I am unable to to set the Data Fields. I can not enter the "Data Fields" Menu. Also: Upon initialition my HSI does not show the CDI and flags according to the initialization window (Half left, out of view, half up, etc...) Am I doing something wrong? PS: I am using the Alabeo DA-40 for now. The GNS430 Stack is integrated in 2D Panel (fully working) and in VC (partially working) I'd be glad to get some help and apologize if the question has been raised before.

I've been using the G1000 with the RealAir Duke, and for testing purposes up to now I've been using the Diamond DA42 style. Today, however, I tried creating a more appropriate version of the panels using the supplied configuration utility to edit the G1000.INI. Unfortunately, this utility doesn't seem to work too well. I tried to create a new Configuration Name called "Duke" and then assigned the "Beech Baron" style to it. Clicking apply produces a message, "The Beech Baron style is not available yet." However, I know it does exist because there's a Beech Baron with Mindstar G1000 already installed in P3D. I assume the Mindstar installer created this variant. Anot…

The Mindstar GNS works not with Prepar3dv2.4 ATC in IFR flights! Every time if I create a IFR flight and use the Mindstar GNS then is a CTD. The prepar3d forum says the issue is by Minstar GNS and not by LM p3d. Is there any solution regarding the CTDs?

Dear Ed, I had a problem with the Milviz B55 Mindstar GNS combo: the clickspot for the 2D popup ("the hand") did not work. Now it is solved by Bill, and I wonder if this change should be incorporated in the Mindstar documentation. http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=4418 Do you have any comments to this?
