  5. Can someone on this forum maybe help me. I am using a Saitek Multi Panel with Spad.next with the 310 Redux and most of the functions work quite OK and I can set heading etc on the panel. However, the altitude display shows 40000 at start-up and does not respond to changes I make in the VC. I am not that up to speed with all the Spad.next functions. Is there a profile for the 301 Redux that I can download somewhere or a variable that will read the alt setting of the autopilot in the 310 Redux. Thanks.

    First of all a question: The KAP140 manual states: Standard captured Events: - AP button = AP_MASTER (default Z key- Hold for engage) I thought that meant that I could turn off the autopilot, using the Z key.. Not so? This really would be easiest by far As I tried it, I found that the KAP140 autopilot does not like it if I try to disconnect it, using the Z key... SO... the manual does indicate that maybe I should be using the following LVars instead: - AP button = (L:KAP140_LuaAPM_KeyDown, bool) (L:KAP140_LuaAPM_KeyUp,bool) Any chance this would work better?     Hello All, Just purchased the 310R Redux for P3D V3 and lean the mixture seems to have no indication of reduction of fuel flow on fuel flow indicator. The fuel flow indicator stays around 150 pounds per hour. I am able to see a rise and fall of EGT on those displays when leaning or enriching the mixture. Am I thinking wrong on this or is this an issue? Thanks

    Morning First time here. I purchased the FG-1D corsair, for P3dv4, the other day and installed it following the install recommendations. All went well. However, once in the cockpit I found that I cannot move the any of the cooling flap levers?! Also the flaps do not extend?! Now, as this is my first MILVIZ plane, I may have missed something somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. I have the latest version of P3Dv4.     Hi All The c310R Redux is truly awesome but have a few questions as below 1.) I don't see any moving cowl flaps are they modelled, the controls are moving but no animation on external model 2.) If have no panel lights at night only the instrument stack not sure why, so cant fly it at night 3.)   13. Just downloaded and installed the new Milviz C310 Redux and notice that with the fuel selectors set to "Off" both engines keep running, any body else have this issue? Also the floor fuel gauge only has one knob to make a tank selections, whereas the 2-D popup has a selection knob for both the right and left engine? Shouldn't both fuel selectors be the same?     I have been spending a lot of time with this aircraft. I seem to have a lot of problems with keeping this girl under control while trying to taxi. It tends to wonder all over the place. It seems like the more I adjust the worse things get. Brakes seem very touchy to me and the wind of course makes it like I am on ice. Using FSUIPC. Same with takeoff roll. Always fighting the rudders until 30 or 40 kts then things smooth out. Any one else seeing this. Any suggestions?? I am tired of my passengers barfing and whinning on takeoff roll

    Is icing modeled in the 310 Redux? I ask because I believe I experienced this effect on a flight from Billings, Montana, to Boise, Idaho, yesterday at 15,000 ft., flying in the clouds, using ASP4 as the weather generator. If this is the case, then loud kudos to the Milviz crew for this unexpected surprise! Regards, Stew

  20. Another pair of KAP 140 autopilot questions. Been completely through both the aircraft and autopilot manuals. Both are great! Thanks. Question: how to turn on backlighting for the keys of the autopilot? I 've tried via the panel lighting and instrument lighting rheostats, and the radio lights switch. At certain angles to the sun and at dusk their locations (keys) are barely visible and the key names are not distinguished at all. Have not tried night flying but would seem it would be more difficult. Second question. I use a Saitek Multipanel (primarily an external AP).   22. I've posted this in the Milviz support forum as well... I'm really enjoying the Milviz 310R Redux! Between the sounds and the new textures, I can't decide which I like more. I find myself flying this plane all of the time in P3DV4.2. After the latest update, which I installed via 310R Redux Installer v3.180403.exe, I noticed I had difficulty with the GTN 750. Sometimes I would get a 'clunking sound' when clicking on the buttons, and sometimes I click the buttons and nothing would happen. The GTN 750 was very slow... The GTN 650 had no problems at all.     Bought and installed the above yesterday. Close inspection of cockpit and switches today. There are no click sounds for any of the switches, and no door seal sound. Flaps and gear sound okay. Also, tried using the MVAMS for GPS use. It refuses to load my GTN 750, but just stays with the original units. KAP 140 AP, the altitude select rotary is vastly over sensitive, compared to my A2A C180. Also extremely difficult to keep it straight down the RWY on takeoff, and landing. After all the hype, I just wonder if I've wasted my money.

    Flying P3dv4.2, with both the above GTN instruments installed. How does one access the COM2 frequency that's dialed in on the GTN650? There is no COM/NAV panel that allows switching back and forth between COM1 and COM2. And the GTN750 Audio Panel only allows access to COM1. Am I missing something obvious? Hope so. Stew

I have gone from single engine planes to my first multi-engine and wanted to change the N number to one that I am thinking of buying. How do you make the change. The paint is about the same as the one that I am looking at.
