NOTAM: The Milviz Corsair is only compatible with P3D - not FSX I took the compatibility with P3D to be an "also" condition, not an "only" condition. My bad, though I must say I haven't encountered a new plane that's exclusively for P3D before. too bad - would love to have tried the Corsair. I have written and asked if I have any options. I bought the Milviz Huey not so long ago but had to do a HDD wipe after the upgraded computer I built the other week wouldn't boot up, as such, i lost the installation file for that thing and the serial number or whatever will be gone too, but I figured no big deal, they will certainly have a record of my purchase, so I went to the Milviz site to try and log onto their forums to ask for a link to re-download the file, but try as I might, I could not log on to the forums, I tried the 'forgot your password' automated assistance, even though I hadn't forgotten the password, and it duly informed me it had fired me an email, but I've checked spam folder and all else, and there…

Hi all- Just bought the Corsair; really nice. Noticed that if you decrease the throttle inside the cockpit, during approach for example, there is no commensurate pitch (volume ) change. This only occurs after hitting the runway and slowing down. Anyone else notice this? Thanks, Mark

Available on the support forum of Milviz a SP that correct some bug and allows compatibility with P3Dv4.

Hello, I received an email from SimMarket today announcing an update for the Milviz C310R Cessna. I downloaded the update and installed it into P3Dv4. The filename included a V4 bit. Is this for V4? If so, it doesn't work: missing or blank textures etc. Thanks.

We will shortly be releasing upgrades to our aircraft products that will allow them to be used for Prepar3D v4. Now, we fully realize that most companies seem, so far, to be offering their product upgrades free of charge but, for us, we are unable to do so due to the complexity AND quantity of our product line. As a result we are forced to charge a nominal $5 to upgrade to V4. If, however, you bought it directly from us, you will receive this upgrade for free via email. I've just started flying the C310 in P3Dv4 and notice that the left nav light and the rotating beacon light are both offset several inches to the left from where they are supposed to be. This is not the case, however, when flying in FSX, yet it's the same installation in both sims. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there an adjustment/fix to the light placement in the .mdl file that can be issued, since it's not possible to make the adjustment in the aircraft.cfg file? Thank you for any help. Stew

I all of a sudden don't have any sound with the Beaver. I do not have the Q button mapped to my sound so no I have it hit it on accident. It is the only airplane in my hangar with this problem. Did a reinstall with no luck.

Bought this beauty last night and was trying to configure my panel to use a single gtn 650 but keep getting 2 of them. What am I doing wrong?

Looked around but couldn't find this option: GTN 750 OR 650 with Weather gauge. I know that the stand alone REX weather gauge has not been updated for p3d v4, but maybe it works with free version for the Beaver. Is this panel option available? Thanks. Jose

Hello, I have the milviz f-4e installed in Prepared 3.4 and Target 2 seems to work ok when selecting a waypoint (airport) from the flight plan menu. BUT I can't seem to get a correct readout when manually entering in coordinates in the INS and selecting Target 1 on the HSI.. I have "ready to fly" for the INS.. Do I need to do a cold & dark to get target 1 to work manually entered coordinates? Thanks for any info!

I've recently installed the newest GTN750 for P3Dv4 (and FSX) into the C310R, but frequency changes both from and to the ATC are not reflected in the COM1 box. What could be the problem, as this does not occur with other aircraft from either Carenado or Flysimware. I've configured the radios via the MilViz MVAMS interface. Thank you for any help. Stew

Oh my. Flying wild Alaska made the Caravan even more famous. Milviz realized that the only real option Caravan lovers have is the Carenado 2 versions and NONE OF THE SYSTEMS really work. I can crank it 100 percent all the time, no punishment. In my dream Milviz finally was ready to make an awesome C208. They took a cue from Aerosoft Twotter and gave it actual icing. In the Twotter even the windshield will ice over and you have to turn the windshield heat on to even see. They made the engine catch on fire like the Twotter if you mistreated it. Hello, Without an EGT gauge, and without any audio feedback of a rougher running engine, I was wondering how you Milviz Beaver pilots get just the right fuel/air mixture. Leaning my mixture does result in a power change, too lean causes my speeds to slow, but the engine sounds exactly the same. And if I lean too much, the engine will start to cut out, so I know when I am way too lean. But I don't want to lean THAT much. I only want to lean to peak EGT, from after which more leaning will cause the engine to begin to run poorly. How do you guys find just the right mixture?

I installed the latest version into P3D v4 without issue, except I cannot get the props into feather. I have things working through FSUIPC and wondered if anyone can share their FSUIPC setup. I am using Send Direct to FSUIPC Calibration and then calibrating each individual prop through the full range.

PC Aviator has informed me of two separate updates. I downloaded both. From the file names, I'm wondering if one update is for FSX (v170808) and the other for P3Dv4 (v4.170727)? Thanks for any help. Stew

Following my purchase of the Milviz Beaver, I went to log into their forum but it seems I'd forgotten my password. I went through the lost password procedure, giving my username and e-mail address and I was informed that an e-mail had been sent. But over 12 hours later, I've received no such e-mail. I checked my spam folder too just in case, but no joy. Instead, I went to the Milviz website, and used their contact form see if I could get any help that way, but no, as soon as I hit "send", I was told an error had occurred, and I should try contacting them via...the forum. I was wondering if u can tell me why my GTN 650 and 750 are not click able in your 407 and 530 in VC cockpit? I don't know if other people have this problem or its just me. In the past I just edited the model and removed the cover plate from over the $GTN750 plate. I am reinstalling and don't want to do that so I'm hoping you have a solution. I have searched this topic now and in the past and have never found an answer. I wondered if maybe the cover plate needs a z-write alpha or something. I don't know a lot about that stuff. But I know its annoying having screens that say click to continue and u cant click them. Thanks for any help.

Hi, I have almost exclusively flown A2A offerings but am finding the Beaver interesting but I do have a coupe quick questions 1) Does the Beaver maintain its current state after saving...ie could I land it at one airport, save it then start up the sim again and expect to find it in the condition that I left it 2) How does the quality in general compare to A2A offerings Thanks for any input. After it shows that it's installed I get a pop up that says; XML Tools 2.01 Installer XML Tools.DLL successfully installed in FSX main folder DLL XML not found Cannot find the file for this user. A manual search and update is recommended.

hello recently did a complete reinstal of windows 7 pro , now i am trying to put the phantom (both) and the super saber back on , the installer runs and then I get a page with a lot of jargon on but with this following line at the top there was an exception loading the module at C:\USERS \FLIGHT \APPdATTA\LOCAL\mvams\modules\fa.dll." i was wondering if it was a folder stoping it being installed ?? i have turned file controls off but still the same problem ? any help please ?? thanks in advance
