I was working at getting my switch panel properly setup for the new 310 yesterday and ran into an issue with programming the landing light switch. It's a 3 position switch which appears to do LL extension on the middle position and turn the LL on in the 3rd. Anybody have any hints on doing this with a 2 position switch? Using SPAD.neXt, but the general principle is what I'm after. TIA Scott

Click spots. F1GTN750 no click spots on screen though no problems with popup . I've just update to GTN complete, and now if I select GTN650 (2) the right hand gauge works fine but the one in the centre of the panel I get no click spots. Legacy is set to 1, cores set auto.

Just got an email from Milviz regarding latest update to the 310R Redux. Cold and dark fixed and is looking quite good. Add to another update (not released) about the long-awaited 350i. Great video showing icing/deicing in action. Hey, I'm a sucker for more eye-candy. Thanks for the updates, guys!

If you inhabit the Milviz forum you may already have seen this. If you don't... There are only two photographs of this bird on the entire internet so I had to make a guess at how the rear of the engines looked. Thanks Milviz for updating the Beechcraft Baron for use with P3Dv4.2 at last. It is a great addition and I hope we will see some additional liveries in the not too distant future too. Hi all, while waiting for my official support access I thought perhaps someone here can verify the following: GPS Default and following the AP manual instructions I turn heading to an interception course, pressing NAV button shows up NAV arm and when reaching the GPS course it turns correctly on the new course and switching to NAV only. Thats working fine like expected. Check. F1 GTN: Same procedure, but even hitting the NAV button does not change anything. AP stays on HDG active and thats it. Not working. RXP GNS: Same procedure, NAV arm comes on but when intercepting the course it goes to NAV but doesn't follow the GPS track. Not working. So thr…

Hi Folks, I'm currently waiting for Registration to the Milviz Forums, but they appear very busy with the C310R release and I don't have a reply as yet. My problem is the Weather Radar does not work in the 310R, I have installed the 310R, three times, exactly per instructions. On the support page after working through, it tells me the radar requires, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64). I downloaded such and tried to install same, but because I already have, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2017 versions installed, it tells me I already have the program installed and I must uninstall, to install 2015. Hi I just wondered if anyone had any feedback on the performance of the new 310R in FSX? I have been looking through the various posts on this forum but nearly all seem to be from people using it in P3D which I haven't moved on to as yet and there is nothing over on the FSX forum so I would appreciate any comments from anyone who might be using it in FSX before I take the plunge and buy it. I haven't found any Hobbs meter or other device for recording engine/flight time. Did I miss it or maybe it is part of some other gauge. It's obviously not a big deal but something that has piqued my curiosity Just wondering how that would work for recording maintenance intervals if that was true in real world use. Any thoughts? Jesse

I can't seem to figure this out. I want a full cold and dark startup but it doesn't seem to give it to me no matter what I try. I have it set in the MVAMS. I've tried loading another plane before it and then loading the 310C on top of it. I've try restarting, re-installing. What am I missing. I just want cold and dark. I did get to a point where the engines are no longer running but I am still getting a cockpit with batterys on, avionics on and lights on. :D Thanks

This is not a request for a timeline on how you're doing on this creation..... You did mention about the analogue cockpit version you were including for early supporters such as myself...Will it have the Sperry attitude and HSI indicators?. I flew a 200 many years ago with that set up and really enjoyed it. The HSI precessed less than a degree an hour which was useful when arctic flying...I flew it on medivacs up there. I'm looking forward to this aircraft when it's ready. Dave

I have been trying to enjoy some PNW bush flying with my DHC3 but I have no interior or instrument lights. I turn on the switch Instr Light and crank up the brightness on the lower console area but it’s pitch black in this bird. The GPS, KAP140 and transponder are lit up and the warning lights work plus I also get the exterior landing lights but no interior lights to work. I am also getting a lot of CTD about an hour into any flight and as soon as I reload that flight I get 5-10 minutes at most before it CTD. Generally after a full restart and a new flight I am good for another hour. Also, is the airspeed gauge a known problem? Or am I missing something. …

Indeed, I have a relatively old rig with Win7 64-bit and FSXA onboard but I didn't expect that aircraft development has advanced so much... It's not my intention to set up a discussion here comparing your work with the aircraft of other well-known developers out there but hey, 7-8 FPS just on the first launch at an empty Texan airport just to test the birdie (no 3rd party objects, traffic, real-time weather etc.) means just no way for the Beaver for me... Alas! :( Even the aircraft with complex systems and VC coupled with 3rd-party addon sceneries and real-time weather that I often fly in FSX are not as resource hungry as the Beaver... Hi together, I am not sure if I am right here, because I don´t know if it is the Beaver and or GTN what causes the problem. The direct to button of the GTN is not working. And sometimes the GTN seems to be frozen. In other ac the GTN is working fine. Does anyone else have this problem? Aparently not many. Otherwise I would have read something here? System is Win10, Prepar3d 4.1 and latest versions of beaver and gtn. Thanks for the tips in advance, Cheers Jens

I am writing on behalf of my father to assist in troubleshooting why the software he purchased - Milviz DHC-3 Otter is not displaying the plane. The anti-virus software was disabled prior to install. He is using MS Flight Simulator X on a Windows 10 machine. When he goes to select the plane, the image of the plane is visible. When he is ready to fly, you can only see an image of the pilot sitting in the seat and the outline of the windows. You do not see the physical exterior of the plane or the propellor. Any ideas on how to fix this ?
