Hi, i bought the DHC-2 on the flash sale as my first Milviz aircraft. Now my normal installation procedure (in times of v4) is to first install sceneries or aircraft to a dummy folder with just an prepar3d.exe in it. Then i move the folders to my preferred custom directories, copy the effects to my main custom effects and so on, generate my xml's and whatever. Business as usual in the meantime and generally working flawlessly afterwards. After the Beaver installation i immediately thought i maybe will run into some difficulties this time because of the MVAMS directory with its files or maybe the xmltools.dll. When buying directly from Milviz, does the download link sent at the time of the original purchase always resolve to the latest version of the product if it becomes available?

I am thinking about getting the 310 Redux. My system is FSX based and dates back from 2013 (i7-3770,8GB RAM,Nvidia780/3GB). Orbx PNW is the only scenery addon. Flying the B55 in Seattle and its neighbourhood I get something between 20 and 30fps (30 is the target). Should I expect a significant performance drop with the revised Cessna? Thank you.

Are the KA350i system requirements of 16 GB RAM and 8 GB video RAM really the minimum or would a lesser machine (8 GB RAM and 3 GB video) be sufficient with reduced settings? I was excited to get the long-awaited KA350i until I saw the system requirements include 16 GB RAM and 8 GB video RAM. My lowly i5 system with 8 GB RAM and 3 GB video limps along well enough with my MilViz 310R, DHC2 and PC-6 as well numerous other aircraft by A2A, Vertx and others, all while flying over various ORBX regions and airports. I do sometimes have to throttle back the P3D graphics settings to reduce stutters but still manage some great flying.

Does anyone had this anomaly and know how to fix with the king?

Hello. I wanted to ask this on the milviz forum but you have to contact someone to register which would take days or weeks, and I want to resolve this sooner as I purchased it, I want to use it. 1. quarter of the way into my journey the AP seems to disconnects and refuses to reconnect, not sure if I have done something wrong? I followed the procedure in the manuals. 2. for some reason the plane doesnt align properly. it says the airport im at is 12nm away??

Just a quick question... I've been really enjoying the T-38 adv recently, to me I can’t see that there’s much that can be improved on, but the availability of the redux version has been playing on my mind. I was just wondering if anyone has gone from the adv to the new redux version of the T-38A, is there much noticeable difference/ improvement? I can’t seem to find much comment on the internet about it. Thanks Jon

Howdy, just purchased the T-38A Advanced Redux for use with the latest version of Prepar3D. After installing, the aircraft doesn't work. The sound in the simulator is stuck to off, none of the gauges work, it's simply totally broken. I ran the install and Prepar3D as admin. I totally disabled UAC and all antivirus. I have the required Simconnect installed and the Microsoft C++ 2015 redist. I have the latest version of Prepar3D and the aircraft. So after this didn't work I totally uninstalled everything. All of my flightsim addons and the sim itself. I removed all registry entries and removed all related files from AppData. I simply did everything possible to rem…

While waiting to get access to the Milviz support forum, I was hoping someone could assist with a problem I've encountered with the Turbo Otter. Every time the aircraft loads I get a popup which reads 'RealLight Initialization error' and notes there are missing textures. I've reinstalled several times but that doesn't fix the issue. Has anyone encountered this and found a fix? Many thanks in advance. Gabs.

Hello, I recently downloaded milviz F-4E with ADV and Tacpack, whenever i try to start the aircraft from cold and dark using the GPU it won't spool up eventhough i already press "Signal External Airflow" under Milviz F-4E Addons tab. Also when i switch to Ready to Fly mode, the throttle are locked and it won't move at all. I Already tried it on Prepar3D V3 and V4, the results from both sim are same, do i really need to install VRS Tacpack for it to be working properly? Thank you.

Does anyone know the proper fill-in for this in the C310's aircraft.cfg file? As it stands now, my pilot identifies himself to ATC as "Cessna", but nothing else, and it would seem there ought to be something additional, for instance, "Twin Cessna", or "Cessna 310". Any ideas? The default entry, "310", yields nothing.

OK, So is the King air 350i released or not??? They updated the webpage, listed a price, but it still says coming soon. apparently it was announced that today was the release date...maybe just a rumor? read that over at Fselite.net.

I have done my first flight...very pleasant! Question: is it normal that I have to mantain the pilot twistgrip in the FULL open position since the engine start for all over the flight, if I decrease it also of a bit...the engine shut down?! I thought I could set it to idle on the ground before take off...and also to use it in combination with the collective during take off and cruise.

When i try taking off the plane goes in circles on the ground and i have no nose steering. Any ideas?

Can't get V-One gauge to work in P3D 4.5 and the FMC doesn't work in P3D either. Do we need to calculate this manually?

I'm not a lover of the sound of the Beaver, as I find the sound files and how they work with the throttle odd. It seems I have to move the throttle to about 50% and even watch the revs drop, before the pitch of the sound changes accordingly. I find this unrealistic and was wondering if I'm alone with this observation. Does anyone know if there is an alternative sound pack anywhere? Or would it somehow be possible to use the sound files from the AS version, which I already own and I prefer? Thanks fellas.

I an running P3Dv4.5 and using the payware Milviz DHC-2 Beaver, I have noticed a neat shadow inside the cockpit. The Milviz Beaver float plane has those ropes hanging down from the underside of the wings. I assume they are used by dock hands to pull the plane around at the dock. Anyhow, I noticed that they flap around in the slipstream while flying in outside Locked Spot view. I was amazed to see them as shadows on the panel in Cockpit view, but even more so to see the shadows of them flapping around on the panel. I was flying in Fall season in Alaska, about 4 PM and on a heading that put the sun at my 4 o'clock, casting the shadow of the wing on the panel, along with the…

Brand new to flying helicopters so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but my MilViz 530 flies for about 5-10 minutes then flames out. Still showing full of fuel. Is this self induced?
