I have been reading a thread on erratic behaviour of the plane on takeoff which is my current experience. it was thought to be a poorly placed C of G and talked of varying the amount and position of payloads, but can find no way of doing this. I thought that it would be an option through VMAMS but can find only options to change GPS type and starting state. Should there be more options on VMAMS? Thanks

Hi Folks, Just a heads up - Wells Sullivan - released a new update for the B55 Baron... As per Wells: An update has been posted in the Milviz B55 support forum. If you don't have access, contact Oisin and he'll hook you up! Changes - Corrected weight and balance for 6 seat configuration - Corrected engine power output and fuel consumption for given power setting ( power and fuel consumption were high ) - Corrected cruise speeds for a given power setting ( the airplane was 5-10 knots fast ) - Changed the zero lift angle of the wing by 1° and raised the viewpoint by 1.2 inches - Added a bunch of extra internal and external views Regards, Sc…

Hi Folks, Just read Nel's post about a MilViz Twin Comanche being "imminent"... Wow - that came out of nowhere for me - good OPSEC there MilViz - LOL - probably stopped Carenado from cranking one out in the interim... Well - we know Bernt did the C310 FDE - one of the best light twin FDE's we've ever seen - the B55 FDE - not so much - left quite a bit to be desired (IMHO) - be interesting to see what a completely new light twin from MilViz will fly like... Anyone know who they're using for FDE's these days ? MilViz Twin Comanche https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/content.php?18732-Milviz-Twin-Comanche-Release-Imminent RW Shot: …

That would be me. I love the twin comanche. It was/is a pleasure to research and make this airplane fly according to what aerodynamics/physics predicts and to match pilot accounts of flying it. Our beta testers seemed quite pleased with it. Of course, we will continue to support it and correct any problems as they occur. On that note, I am willing to review the B55 as well.

Anyone have any idea on the progress of the ATR?. I've honesty been waiting for a new ATR since the flight1 product back in FS2004 that didn't port well to FSX:SE.

I am unable to activate the Honeywell KAP140 Auto Pilot in the MilViz DHC-2 Beaver via the cockpit instrument panel OR the separate autopilot panel. I hold down the AP Master button for 5-10 seconds and nothing. Same with the Z button on keyboard (beeps repeatedly indicating going OFF). I have reinstalled the Beaver per MilViz instructions. Interestingly, if I use a third party tool (RemoteFlight gauges on my iPad) I can turn the Auto Pilot ON/OFF and control all functions there, but the status never changes on the simulator's KAP140 display -- I just have the blinking barometer. Turning the AP ON/OFF via the master button works fine on other planes with other AP units. …

Hi Folks, Been thinking of picking up the new Redux C310... Did MilViz ever adjust the FDE for higher cruise speed on the new version ? IIRC the original MilViz model topped out in the 160 KTAS range when the RW aircraft is actually a bit quicker... RW PIREP: Speed has always been a strong 310 selling point, for good reason. With the 240-hp engines, the 310 will turn in cruise speeds of 183 knots (70-percent power at 7,500 feet, burning 25 gallons per hour total) and climb with both engines at better than 1,600 fpm from sea level. More weight in later models about makes up for the extra power: A 260-hp-a-side Q model turns in 186 knots (71 percent at 7…

I have been using the C310 as my one of my default twin-engine aircraft for some time the other is the C337, I wish someone would do a top-notch version of the C337, I feel happy with the C310 but I keep wondering in what areas does the Redux version improves on the standard version, the latest version is already good, so has anyone seen/found a comparison between the Milviz standard C310 and the C310 redux versions thanks for reading peter

Good Morning,Need community help if available. I've sent an email and purchase receipt to Milviz requesting access to the support forum but no response yet. In the meantime, I thought I would try here. Specifically, I just finished completed a new computer rebuild. This evening I disabled my Avast and Windows Defender and downloaded the DHC-3 Otter from the Milviz website. The program appeared to install correctly. I was not asked to update the aircraft. I created exceptions for MVAMS in my virus protection. After selecting my options in MVAMS I loaded the aircraft. The aircraft appears to be working great in all aspects except sound. It appears it is not able to use the …

Hi new to the forum. I have the Milviz C310 and enjoy it very much. But, recently bought the new Baron 55E and cannot figure out how to get any avionics. All I can use is the AP and top of comm stack. No radios etc. Not a default stack like the C310R. Also noticed the Baron is not in MVAMS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hate flying without a radio etc. Mike

Just as a heads up for B737-200C owners, a new installer is now available. Two items were identified and fixed. 1. P3Dv4 engine shutdown on first load if center tank has no fuel 2. CTD in FSX:SE

Hi all - I just bought the Navstax radio stack and added it to the VC in the wonderful 310R. I am having an issue with the Nav radios in the sense that I cannot use Nav 1 and Nav 2 independently. In other words, changing the Nav 1 frequency also changes the Nav2 frequency. The COM radios work fine in this regard. I am unsure if this is a Navstax thing or how it integrates with the 310 as I know it is fully compatible in VC. I am unable to post on the Navstax forums at the moment so figured I would try here. Thanks!

When I close the Battery switch (engines not running) a whooshing sound occurs about every 15 to 20 seconds in the cockpit of the 310R. From what I can tell, none of the switches are on other than the Battery. I don't know what it is or where it is coming from other than somewhere in the cockpit—I just want to turn it off. Any suggestions Pat

Went to a friends house yesterday to check out his Milviz Beaver, figured I would splurge for it if I liked it more than my Aerosoft oldie but goodie. He has Win7 home premium 64bit and FSX acceleration just as i do. I flew that Beaver for a bit and loved it. The flight dynamics felt really good. I was ready to buy that baby when I got home. But just one test, I loaded up a night flight and NOTHING but a dark cockpit with nly lights around the GPS units, that was it. My friend doesn't even care and he said he doesn't fly at night anyway. I worked on that thing for over an hour and could not get the night lights to come on. The outside light worked …

Hi, I installed the MilviZ C310R Redux a couple of months ago, and had no problems or issues. Now all of a sudden I have only two notches of flaps up and down. All other aircraft have the right flap positions. Any help from viewers would be appreciated. Mike [email protected]

Greetings everyone! In case anyone missed it (and I haven't seen a formal announcement), the MilViz B737-200 now works with Prepard3Dv4. I just happened to check out their store yesterday, and saw on the product page that v4 was now supported. I just re-downloaded the new installer and then installed it into Prepard3Dv4. I haven't had time to really mess with it too much. A couple of things: it states on the product page that the FMS and SP177 do not work in v4, however, ActiveSky wx radar is supported. I flew it briefly this morning before work. I had set the aircraft manager to load the aircraft "ready for take-off", but it did not load that way. Instead it se…
