PMDG 777

Hi guys, I have a quick question. I plan to buy a PMDG777 of someone about to get PREPAR3D on the new operating system. Now I'd like to know if I can register the PMDG777 on my name? Probably he already registered himself. Thank you sincerely, Copilot.

Installed FSX:SE (Steam Edition) since Christmas 2014, all worked well with the default aircraft. Then last week, finally got the updated PMDG 777 for FSX:SE, installed fine,runs well, except for one nagging issue...The default zoom level seems to be too close on either the internal VC (virtual cockpit) or all the external views. I checked the compared my standard FSX DVD edition and my view zoom levels are normal. I also checked & compared the scenery.cfg file and between FSX DVD & FSE:SE and both are 100% the same. So I am quite puzzled why internal & external views are behaving this way. I can compensate by unzooming, but kinda a pain every time th…

As I was descending into Tokyo, I noticed the oil temperature on the right engine start to increase. Eventually it got into the amber zone, triggering an EICAS warning, even though I have random service based failures turned off. I paused the sim for a few moments to see if this was an issue anyone else had, but couldn't find anything. By the time I got back to the paused sim, the oil temperature was 277 degrees C and well into the red zone (temperature seemed to increase even while FSX was paused). I cancelled the failure through the FMC, but am wondering why it occurred. Is it that although I have service based failures turned off, failures will still occur…

Hello everybody Is it possible for the 777, to ensure the flight deck door from the cockpit with a switch. Is that in the 777 simulated? Otherwise, I can use all switches in the cockpit. Thanks for the info regards Sebastian

I am having too many CTDs when I load the 777-300 most times. There are some saved flights when I load its ok. I have no issues loading 737. No CTDs.. Hello everyone, After starting engines on the 772LR, EGT rises to about 600 degrees and falls steadily and suddenly stops around 450 degrees. Did anybody notice that before? Ali Hoteit

Hello captains I'm flying the 777 for a couple of hours now. I am wondering if there is anybody who can tell me how the stop the A/P disengace warning. Mostly I fly on A/P untill about 1000ft before touche down. What I do is switching off the A/P bij clicking the A/P button or the A/P disengace bar and land by hand! The problem is that I cannot stop the sirene and most of the time I end landing after hitting Q key, the stop the sound. There must be a better way to do this. Can somebody help me? regards Ronald

I have the 777LR installed from a CDROM. Have discovered that the operations centre appears to have been removed form my PC which I believe may have been done by Norton? In order to get it back do I have to run the CDROM again and reinstall or can I find the operations centre data on the disc and just reinstall that? If I reinstall will the liveries I currently have be lost? Thanks for any help!

Hi guys, ive a Problem with the triple Seven. Actually everything Works good, i love the plane, but the raas System is Not Working. I Set it up in the fmc, but either then i dont have any Sound of raas... System: pmdg 777 sp1c, fsx Running with dx 10, and no add on AirPorts, i just use the Default Airports. Could somebody help me pleasse:))

When I go to the nav lsk on the cdu sometimes the ils frequency is set to park. How do I enter the ILS freq manually. Entering the freq and hitting the lsk beside the park notation gives me an "invaled entry"

I held off buying the 777 until I had a platform with a future. P3D v2.4. 2.5 will be downloaded next month and will consume 1/5 of my bandwidth in 1 fell swoop. Everything on the 777 works as PMDG designed it but at cruise, I have 2 contrails. The first is as it should be but the second one goes off at a tangent and seems to imitate yaw. It also recycles every second, stop/start. I did google the problem but came up with zip. Is this a known issue? Jon Shearer

Hi, I wanted to highlight an issue that I think is simply a feature not simulated, both in the PMDG 777 and 737, but, if it's like this, it is a bit disappointing, because I don't think it's such an in-depth feature and it is practiced during all real life simulator sessions. I would like to set up an engine failure so that the engine 1) doesn't relight by itself inflight and 2) doesn't have a severe damage with no N1/N2 rotation. What I want to do is to perform the engine inflight restart procedure, as per QRH 7.20, and restart the engine in flight. Hi I bought the pmdg 777 and fs2crew some days ago. 2 days ago I made my First flight from loww to vhhh and After about 6 hours of flying Fsx freezed without loosing fps or something else. After trying to fix this problem, suddendly everything worked normal again and I could finish my flight. Yesterday I grad After about 9 hours the same problem. Unfortunately I could not solve the problem and I had to restart fsx. With Time compression I tried to fly a Little big faster and then I Haf the same Problem. Third try I did not have this problem. Can you help me to solve it. It is Crazy because it happened suddendly everything time no Warnung such as the bing of oom.

After passing TOD and I reset the ALT to the next flight level in the decent works fine. After reaching the next flight level and maintained, What is the procedure to lower to the next flight level in the flight plan? If I reset the ALT to the next lower flight level nothing seems to happen. I have to engage flight level change and then go back to LNAV. Any help would be appreciated. Chris

I keep having issues where the LOC or the APP will not engage. It seems to be sporadic. On another flight last night into SEA it happened again. I have attached pics to show. hi folks While i was preparing the cockpit for a trip at gate ( i use the long cockpit state for startup ) i tought it would be cool to have a rondom Turn arround state ( which will set some swiches in unproper positions rondomly everytime we load the a/c ) in order to increase the chance to spot some misconfigured swiches during flow checks. As the default states are fixed, we know that there is not going to be any suprise. i ve also tought that i could save the state after flights but that would be too much saved states, which may increase the chance of getting issues related to panel states. what do you think ?

This is to PMDG itself and those who fly the -300ER. It seems there are two MZFW's floating around out there. Boeing's website, most generic aircraft spec sites, and the PMDG panel and .cfg file have 524.000 Lbs. While PMDG's own documentation and an official EASA technical document has it set at 529.000 Lbs., which leads me to believe that there is a higher ZFW option on either later models, or as a paperwork spike. As I fly solely long haul, I want to change it to 529000 pounds. It is easy enough in the cfg file. The question becomes; Will it modify the limit within the FMS logic or maybe screw up something if I change the value in the config file? Regards, …

I run through the tutorial and had no problem using the LOC and APR. Now I have done 5 more flights and even though the frequencies are tuned the LOC and APR fail to engage.. The GS and Loc show up in the PFD as active? Help?

Hi Guys, I'm not sure if this is the right environment to post in but thought I'd ask anyway. I'm having an issue with the DX10 shadow feature. Basically, if I enable the HD shadows option, when I move my mouse to look around the cockpit (using EzDok), the shadows gradually disappear. I have enabled the 'ForceVCShadowMap' fix, and 'legacy' options within the fixer. Interestingly, however, shadows work fine when using the non-hd option (but look rubbish!) Any ideas? Cheers, Mark

Yes on PMDG T7, but base on personal experience and different youtube videos,I don't think so. Really small thing but somehow bugs me a little, call me being paranoid. :huh:

Was wondering ....after a flight into severe turbulence and CB's..when does the AP and A/T disconnect, as I usually ALWAYS hand fly the final, this time around the stick shaker sounded and the A/T could not keep the commanded speed....so I flapped it (non aviation term) and disconnected AP and A/T and hand flew a bit earlier than I would...My question is how severe does the turbulence need to be before the AP and or A/T disconnects?? ..to simplify whats the limits of the AP and A/T????.

I am having a very peculiar problem with my new P3D2.5 rig! After pushback at EGLL, I repeatedly try to taxi but the on-screen image does not show any movement. I hear the taxiway bumps and the ground speed indicator shows my speed, but the out-of-window image does not show any movement. I have been having a lot of trouble with EXCA 1185, but when I remove it from the config.xml the trouble persists. I cannot identify where the problem might be. Any ideas?
