To set up the CDU > PMDG Setup > Aircraft > equipment > page 9: Terr.water in cyan > Yes But the water is not in cyan. It stays black. In the PMDG 737 it is no problem to have the water in cyan. Can sombody help me out? Peter Scheffer

New thread with a straight question that I see no solid answers to ("vas improvement"- opinion or a statement? based on what facts/flights?) It is an easy question really: somebody please do a flight from FSDT-KJFK to Aerosoft EGLL XTended (both available for P3D) with FTX Base+Vector and ASN and tell us whether there is an expected OOM or not. Could you please introduce for the 777 performance setting as that of the 737NG? The setting "Low virtual cockpit dispay" makes a difference 20fps !! It would be very useful to have this option in the 777! Thank You, Lorenzo Cavallo (Horse)

Hi All. Help!!! I have been working on this problem for a couple of weeks and am going crazy. I am trying to export from PFPX into PMDG 777 prepar version using preparv2.5 My plans will not go into the correct PMDG folders---but the do go into the correct Prepar folders---This is a problem directing to correct route of the export--this is , I know a PFPX issue----BUT!! when I try and copy the route file (the one sent to prepar ) and then paste it into the PMDG 777 flight plans folder and then rename it from say SAEZSBFL.route to SAEZSBFL.RTE (this to match the plans made by hand inside the aircraft FMC and then saved)----the plans will show up when route r…

Hello everyone, after a while of not playing around with the FSX I now came back with the Steam Edition. I have installed everything normal and had no errors during the installation. It´s a clean FSX install and the PMDG 777 is the first addon that I have installed. If I choose the 777 it does not ask me for a product key. It´s not pirated. It´s downloaded from the official PMDG site and I have a product key. The aircraft does not have wheels and all the screens are black. Also I can´t click anything. I have tried reinstalling it. Also I have the FLEXnet Licensing Service running. I hope that you can help me.

I am running both FSX Gold and Steam edition on the same computer and have installed the 777 in FSX Gold. When I tried to install it in Steam as well, I only was offered the option to uninstall or repair the existing Gold installation. Clicking on "repair" only produced a message that I need to uninstall the 777 first. Is it possible to install the plane in both versions of FSX? If yes, how can I do that? I basically live in two towns atm, and I would like to fly this one both in my hometown and my current city on my notebook. And taking my fixed computer with me every time is not an option

Im having a great time flying the 777 in p3d (too bad though now I cant ever bear to use fsx again), but vnav descents have been strange now on just about every flight. The airplane cannot seem to calculate a decent path without having to go into speed mode. At the tod the aircraft will start to descend and go to idle thrust mode but then will level off and speed will bleed off to the point that spd mode must activate. Then it starts to descent again but at a rate too shallow for idle thrust until it reaches lower altitude. This is while using a descent forcast and asn wx.

Perhaps I am used to NGX, but I was wondering why I can't program the FMC waypoints if I take off without a flight plan. If you take off with no DEP/ARR set, you can't program the route anymore - you get the invalid operation message. If you try something like DIRECT->[some way point or airport], you can't do that either. If you go to Route -> divert to, it shows all the airport around you, but selecting one of the airport and clicking on divert now does not work either. So, once you are in the air, it seems that if you did not enter some sort of route into FMC, there's nothing you can do. Lets assume you had a situation where you had to reboot the flight com…

Hi Simmers, does anyone of you experienced a crash due to Xaudio2_4.dll.unloaded ? I had the first time after i was going to start my second flight with the T7. Using P3D 2.2 on a WIN 7 64 bit machine. Using all tipps as described in the manuall. One strange thing i recognized during installation. After the T7 was installed another direct X window opened and tried to install something. Round about 5 minutes it says "initalizing", but nothing happend. So I canceld the process. Hello guys! I just got the PMDG 777 and 773 expansion recently. First off - fantastic work! I've been using it to practice for my proficiency and in the process I found a small lack of functionality that I thought you might want to add into the RTE page. When intercepting an airway, it is normally possible to input the airway name immediately into RTE page 2, L1, which will then open box prompts in R1 for the terminating point. Let's say you're asked to intercept airway A461, it is possible to input A461 in L1, and R2 should display boxes. The airway should then start at a point on the airway closest to you. I did a flight from KLAS to KEDW to pratice single engine landing. I shut down starbouard engine prior to start of desent from 18K ft. Upon touch down and after complete stop I discovered that the reverser would not return to closed position it was locked to the port engine throttle position and would follow the throttle position either forward or back but not release to closed. I checked QRH and other docs.

When I try to save a plan using FSC9.6 to the \Flightplans\777 directory I get an error saying invalid path. I can save it to documents directory and move it manually. Is there a work around?

I bought the 777 today for P3D, I installed ok but I got a label as stating PMDG Debug title. Warning: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files. Please make sure that you are running Flight Sim X as administrator. Im using P3d v.2.4not FSX After clicking Ok it runs fine . But on exiting P3D it crashes P3D. Bob S

Does the 777 work in 2.5?

Hi All I just bought the new prepar T7 and i am having trouble selecting the Pilot CRT and the Nav crt and the overhead and undocking them to pull into different monitors---i was able to do this before no problem v4. I have 5 30 inch monitors and usually fly using all of them in some sort of configuration---I can enlarge the Pilot screen by clicking on it---but I can not undock it like I can with the cdu or the mcp Thanks for any help here with these issues Cheers Dorn Cranert

So today i tried the bufferpools 0 with water at 2xlow and the pmdg is just smooth with frame rates stable at 28 and in less demanding airports i get 30 stable. For once i can say stable. The problem is those flashing artifacts when panning or just randomly in the cockpit. So i raised the water to high but the defeats the whole purpose of the tweak cuz the frames drop. Then i thought if this tweak can create such a smoothness why would it also create artifacts flash. People say because it stresses the gpu but i got a gtx 780 and the load never goes past 40 so how exactly is it stressing it. I just dont understand how this tweak can make it so smooth with water on low but …
