PMDG 777

Just finished a Windows format and reinstall of 777. Setup a flight from CYYZ to VHHH with 90% load and 90% fuel. After takeoff the plane will not climb past 4900 feet. N1 =88.5 N2=103.9 Are these correct? Thanks Paul Yes the gear and flaps are retracted.

Today when I started the Operations Center for 777, I got several errors that says "orphaned liverys" something and it ask if I want to delete them. I did and now I got options to "update" some liverys, but when I choose to update those liverys, it is downloading part but he "Update" option does not go away, and nothing happens!? What can I do to get those liverys back and working?

I have had trouble using my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke with the triple 7, It works fine with other aircraft but not this one...every time I mouse look around then start to use my yoke, the yoke gets un-binded.

Hi, I've searched the world wide web on how to plan a polar air route on professional flight planner x but to no avail!! Any kind person out there who could give me step by step instructions on how to do it on PFPX and then fly it on PMDG777, and any quirks I should look out for? Thanks!!

Did you guys notice how you approach a terminal and sounds change by bouncing off the building? Holy crap that was just awesome. I have never seen this in FSX. Thanks PMDG for making an already awesome product just that much better! P.S. I do have a 5.1 sound set installed with a 5.1 THX speaker setup. Something to consider before saying it does not work for you.

I'm currently cruising on a flight from CYYZ-EDDM with 773ER. A little bit before entering the NAT system I went to the LEGS page and did what Kyle did in his tutorial, I entered .830/330 next to the first NAT waypoint to maintain a fixed speed and altitude, and then I entered ECON/ at the exit to resume ECON cruise and speed. However, for the waypoints in between the speed did not change to .830, it stayed at .833. So I tried entering .380/330 next to them and the fcm said invalid entry. I tried entering /330 and it took that. Eventually it accepted the .830/330 entry but it then changed to a IAS speed instead of Mach. And then the progress page had my ETA at one of my w…

Dear Gents, I am running the 777 on P3D 2.5 and have really big problems with the drawn LNAV path in the ND. (Had the same problem in P3D 2.4 as well!). For example i fly the RNAV08-Y into LOWI. This approach goes from RTT to ELMEN to WI810......LOWI The new AS Airbuses handles this approach like this; before RTT it shows the connection from ELEMEN to WI810 as a sharp angle (almost 180 degree). After RTT the system immediatly calculates the right (and flyable) curve from ELEMEN to WI810. I made the brightness adjustment to 777 cockpit according Rob Ainscough tweak. Now , upper cockpit still darker then lower cockpit . How can I match to lower cockpit brightness . Hi, I've intentionally removed FSX as per http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx Installed FSX:SE Downloaded 777 from my account 1.10.6320 (and the 300 expansion, but not yet installed the 300) Updated as per Ops centre - I understand that update is just for Ops? I was prompted to trust the PMDG modules to which I answered yes, but not to activate. I obviously now cannot fly her. Any ideas please? Thanks

Hi I recently changed from FSX to FSX SE. I installed the 777 Base aircraft along with the Emirates Aircraft, however none of them can be operated by the control column, which displays as hard left. Or by the mouse, which cant even toggle switches. All other aircraft operate normally. Any suggestion?

I did my first flight with the 777 yesterday in P3D. I notice a periodically simfreeze every +/-30 seconds for about one second. Is there any P3D setting which is not consistent with the 777 P3D? Every other aircraft work fine. It must be any wrong setting in my P3D (I hope so) Specs: i7 3370k / GTX 970 / 16Gb RAM. So no Hardware issue :wink:

Hi guys, I just installed T7 on P3D and doing my first test flight. I am cruising on 34000 feet but my speed are too low, around 0.5 mach. Gears are up and no spoiler or flaps. Any idea why Thanks

good afternoon ladies and gents, on the GA side of things I just got into A2A Simulations Cessna 182, I like to think of A2A as the PMDG of GA. One of the features their planes include, is the ability to do a walk around. Part of the walk around includes taking fuel samples to see if there are contaminants and/or water in the fuel (that's my understanding, I'm not 100% sure if this is correct). My questions is - why doesn't the 777 captain have to take samples of the fuel in a T7? Is it because the refueler does this job, or is it that the grade of fuel used by transport category aircraft is "better" and does not necessitate worrying about contamination and/or wate…

Hello everyone. I used to fly with the default eyepoint until today. A few days ago when reading the 777’s Introduction manual, I noticed some tricks proposed there for camera adjusting, but I just didn’t pay much attention. Today, however, while performing a mid-range flight, I decided to try said tricks out. Obviously, since it’s something new it looks weird to me, especially when landing, due to the fact that I have to totally move the camera up and leave my instruments behind when trying to visually line-up with the runway (that’s the way it’s supposed to be eh?). Hello, Thanks for this great product and many thanks for supporting P3D. I purchased both the base and -300 package for the B777 on P3D last night. The biggest thing that caught my attention was the frame rates running under the same conditions as with other add-ons (FlyTampa LOWW, and ASN). The frame rates are very low compared to other add-on aircrafts that I'm running on P3D. I have my frame rate locked at 30FPS, usually I get it anywhere between 25 ~ 30. With the B777 the frame rate was between 12 ~ 17. It made it very sluggish. Any help or advice will be much appreciated. Ahmed Noman

I just purchased the 777 for P3D. I must say my initial impression is wow. It will be a long learning curve. I would like to know what form the variables in the SDK take. Are they Lua or C++. Now I know that the response from some may be 'if you have to ask...don't ask'. I wouldn't think of attempting something I'm not comfortable with. I want to setup some routines to program my controllers to avoid having to use mouse and keyboard in the aircraft. Thanks for any and all replies.
