Had the most interesting pushback today. Set FMC for 90* nose to the left and default 265 feet. The first move was nose right 45*. Then straight for a while, then left 45*, then right 45*, then left 45*, then left again, then right...and so on. It pushed me for about 4 minutes. Across the ramp, across the grass, across the taxiway, across the runway, back across the grass, back across the taxiway and back across the ramp. I ended up about 4 gates down facing 180* from where I started. It only stopped when I set the parking brake. It then announced push back complete, set parking brake. This took place at KMEM using default FSX scenery. The only addon was ASN. …

I have the 777-200. When I'm flying on final, My tapes are giving me super tight restrictions for speeds I need to fly. I watch other people approach around 150 knots or so, I have to approach around 170kts and the second Idle my throttle I'm getting too slow warnings and then stall warnings almost immediately. Like I said, I watch people on youtube approach at 150 kts or so and I feel like something's just not right.. If someone could help me out that 'd be great! I fly with very low fuel, approximately 30,000 lbs (Keep in mind I'm just taking off, turning around, and landing just to get used to how the plane handles) and payload is around 85% full (I use the percent…

Hi, I always use the Virtual cockpit and when I need to use the over head panel I am not comfortable at all tilting the view, the perspective makes the most far buttons almost unusable and I need a vomit bag if I have to use it few times in a short timeframe. My question is : how can I assign to it a single key stroke in order to pop it up the 2D of it with a certain specific zoom ? If I keep on pressing the " A " key I can see it clearly but I need all the times to tweak the view in order to have it zoomed and centered in order to view it all. Definitely not user friendly. I have the PMDG 777 for the FSX -SE. When I started it up and went into the FMC/Payload screen I noticed there was no passengers to change only cargo.(Main DK Cargo,Fwd Cargo,Aft Cargo and Bulk Cargo.) Is this something new in their FMC layout?

Hi, sometimes I acknowledge I have made an error after I have entered & activated a certain route. Well, the FMC locks itself like a caveau and there is pretty much nothing I can do to reset it and retype the route from scratch. INVALID DELETE, YOU ARE A FOOL, and messages like that keep on appearing. Usually I exit the plane, I communicate the passengers that I can't reset the FMC therefore the flight is postponed to another day where I re-enter the plane and I program the FMC correctly. A relief breath is always clearly audible when I commit no errors into the FMC route programming.... -_- I bet anyway there is another way to achieve that but sorry t…

sorry for maybe a stupid question. i have the 777-200 and 300 installed from about 6 months ago. when i open the operations centre program it tells me theres an update required for both and says I need to login and download and reinstall. Im sure im upto date, can you advise how I can tell how to check which version I have and can i not just download the patch ?? Also can someone briefly explain to me the step climb option in the fmc. I got it turned on so im guessing if my final altitude is fl390 I put that into the init page etc etc and then say select 310, or 330 in the a/p and then it will climb to 390 when ready reguardless of if i have 330 punched …

Good morning, may I ask you one doubt? In the OPS center I see that there are many liveries for 777 that are fictional. American airlines (new one) is available for 777-200 but with a note that is fictional but with the symbol that it has accurate airline options. Why is it fictional for this version? Has anyone had success with starting a fsuipc autosave flight with the T7? The only plane that works for me is level-d 763. When I tried to do an auto-save with the t7, everything loaded just fine except the no power, engines nor fmc was running as it was during the flight. This also happens with my iFly 737. Only my 763 has the aircraft as it was. So I end up crashing before I can get anything started. So auto-save is useless.

Hi. Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Maybe ASN forum??? Just wondering what you guys do in regards to weather when using 777 time acceleration and ASN. I plan the flight using PFPX date and time in historic so I don't fly into the future when flying. Then setup ASN using historic time locked to sim time using the time used in PFPX. But when I fly and go into time acceleration (4X), I find that ASN cannot keep up with the sim so my weather/winds aloft are way out. Any advice much appreciated. Martin.

I know Win 8.1 is not supported but I having some trouble with the FMC on random occasion. When I go to LEGS and replace a Vector from my next waypoint, 1 out of 10 times, I won't be able to replace the vector (doesn't do anything) or I will get program pin error. If I reload the flight, everything goes back to normal. Normal behavior or am I doing something wrong ? I experience that going from KLAX 24L which is a vector departure.

Here is the problem: I was doing flight CPA808 from Hong Kong to Chicago (some 14h on the published route) and had to abort the session, so saved the flight to be continued later. Then did my usual routine when loading a saved flight: Start ASN Start FSX Set the time and date to match the saved flight wait for ASN to resync the weather with the saved flight Load the flight However when the flight finished loading, the 77W did not initalize and was essentially dead metal. I tried using the MENU button on all three CDUs to manually load a panel state but to no avail. I tried this thrice over the day and each time it would fail to load properly. I never h…

Hi all, when I first start up FSX and load PMDG 777 all works well at the plane initialises for about 20 sec. However, when I want to load a saved flight it will just show the cockpit without any screens active, I can't press any button, just pan and move around works. And it won't initialise. So I first have to load a saved flight from a non PMDG plane (e.g. Cessna) and afterwards load the PMD flight. Then it works. I wonder whats wrong and is there a better way to load PMDG flight? Hello guys, After following related topics with the OOM issue, and having read and followed the instructions described in the intro manual I start getting desperate with my FSX displaying an error message and/or crashing to desktop. I recently re-downloaded the 777-200 base back from the PMDG site to take advantage of the new FSX SE installer. My issue starts after the product is installed. I'm not able to input my activation code during any point of the installation or on first start up of the sim when the various dlls are seeking permissions. When I try and fly the 777 in FSX the gauges are black as if the product isn't activated. I've tried to reinstall/repair the installation many times followed by downloading the installer again and checking for updates in the operations center, all with no success. Any help with this issue would be much appreciated

Using the FSX SE verion for 2 days now. Now I have no steering. I pushback from the gate and when I have clearance I try to turn the aircraft but it keeps going straight. The ailerons are working when I turn my yoke but the wheels are staying straight. I did go into the FMC setup and started experimenting with some different options but I don't thing any of them would prevent the wheels from turning. Any thoughts on what may be the problem? Hi I have no problem getting the Audio Panel to respond to ATC tuned Ground and Tower frequencies. I contacted Aerosoft about an installer for the boxed edition of the 777 for FSX:SE and they said that they were waiting on PMDG. Is this true? If so, is there even a vague ETA for when there will be an installer for folks who bought the boxed edition and therefore don't have access to it via an accounts page at PMDG? Thanks, Bill

Hi Team, First off, let me congratulate you on a magnificent airplane. PMDG just gets better and better with every release. I am really enjoying the 777 but unfortunately have been able to spend only about 15 minutes so far. One thing I did notice was the AP losing 100 feet when it starts a bank, then recovers to maintain altitude in the turn. While rolling out, it climbs to 100 feet above the MCP altitude and then slowly recovers back to maintain the required Altitude. The second thing I noticed was when rolling out on a heading there is a mild overshoot and a slight rocking back and forth a few times before settling down to maintain the MCP heading. Pmdg777 can't maintain the altitude while the Autopilot is on. It's loosing and gaining +/- 50-100ft and it's not normal. Any ideas or fixes? One more thing about the "Landing Altitude" Eicas msg during preflight, is nonnormal. It dissapears once you pull out and push back the landing altitude switch. Normally there is no msg in the real aircraft. (Guys, I'm a 777pilot, so please don't try to explain that this is normal) Cheers!
