PMDG 777

Hi All, Just got TOPCAT in advance of the 777 release (P3D), and looking at the 2 different integrations. Do you guys use the "Send To" function, or do you find it's sufficient just to run the takeoff and landing calculate and append it into the OFP? Would I be missing much to just use the OFP based calculated data and not opening TOPCAT? Also I noticed this seems to work without requiring creation of all the aircraft in TOPCAT, I think it just uses the PFPX data in this case is that correct? Thanks

Hello All, I'm having an annoying new problem, that just arrived out of the blue. I am unable to operate any of the doors (pass or cargo) on any model (200, 300, or Freighter). I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, to no avail. I have all the latest service packs (1c in each), and there was no changes in hardware or software leading up to this problem. Also I cannot use the standby flight display. The gauge is still there, of course, but it is blank. I'm not experiencing this problem with any other PMDG addons, nor have I ever had (or heard) of anything like this before. Hi!! here is my issue. It's happens only with the T7 and for this airport (EBBR) with Airac 1313... I try some re-install of the Airac with admin right and it's also the same issue. also tested with PMDG NGX and no issue at EBBR... Hi, this is the first time. I have asked for help, in reference to PMDG 777. I got extended download service pmdg 777 for FSX back in11/6/2014, I have tried on numerous occasions to try to reinstall 777, without success, I have tried contacting PMDG on a number of occasions. In regards. This matter, without success. If anyone out there, as ad. The same problem with extended downloads, and I've managed to resolve them, I would appreciate some help in this matter. Howdy All I like to set the window popups (PFD, ND, Upper/Lower EICAS, CDU L/R, etc) in certain positions so that I can use the practically and have them popup in convenient locations. However each time I re-start the sim (including loading from saved flights) - I have to redefine the positions. Saving the Panel State through the CDU PMDG menu isn't doing it. Is there a way I can get FSX/PMDG to "remember" the window states? Ken

I downloaded PDMG 777 day before yesterday, then installed a few additional liveries. I read the Introduction and Use Manual and followed their recommendations. However, my screen is blank when I start FSX with a 777. I can hear sound, but it is a black screen. When I right-click to get other options, there is nothing. I haven't been able to use a 777 since I bought it. Help Wanted! :angry: John

morning all, quick real world ops question regarding pre flight prep. I used to start off my pre-flight routine by getting the FMC set up, run through Postion, Perf Initializations, etc. Now with the 777 i've been using the groud ops to load fuel and this means the final weight and the CG are not available for awhile. The more I think about it, this probably mimics real world ops pretty well as the final passenger and baggage (and possibly fuel) will not be known till just before the doors are closed. So my question is - in real world ops does the pilot setting the FMC/CDU up wait until all info is complete before finishing the setup, or do they have predictive fig…

Hello, I'm having an issue in flight with the PMDG 777F. I have searched in the manuals and some foruns and didn't found any answer until now. Sometimes on CLB and CRZ fase, the engines just stop and the EICAS display a lot of warnings. After a few seconds, the aircraft recovers by itself leaving only the Equip Cooling Ovrd alert. I've followed the equip cooling ovrd checklist as described in the manuals and resolved it, but the problem still occurring after a couple of minutes again and again. I received an E-Mail about the 777 1.6 Update. I have the boxed version and the documentation states the version is v1.10.6155 which includes the SP1c Update. The notes on the CS download for 1.6 state "Make sure 777 Captain (777-200) base pack 1.4 is installed." Can I install this update on my boxed version?

Greetings all, I'm finally getting back to sim flying after taking a while off due to r/w issues. I'm relearning the 777 right now. I can't remember how to set up the GPU to provide power in lieu of the APU. I'm starting off in a cold and dark cockpit ((just for practice), and under PMDG options I see the choice of "single" and "double" pin connections. However, the actual GPU doesn't seem to appear, and the external power button on the overhead panel isn't doing anything, Obviously I'm missing a step. Any solutions? Thanks, Ron

This a question that probably has been asked and answered previously but if so, I cannot find it, Either on this forum or tutorial #1. How do I open the co route menu in my FMC. Previously all my 777 routes were in PMDG/FIGHT PLANS/77. Previously all I had to do was press request and if I had the flight plan already in my PMDG/FIGHT PLANS/777folder it came up but now I a using PRO ATC for my ATC and they supply the flight plan. On all the instructional videos I have seen, when they press LS Co Route they are presented with a menu and the PRO ATC flight plan is there.

Hello, I was planning to reinstall my OS but there is a problem about PMDG T7. I have 300ER & 200LRF both installed. But i can't deactivate them due this error. My main question is, if i uninstall PMDG T7 on control panel, can i use my serial key after i reinstall my OS without any problem? Thank you and sorry for my English.

Well I simply changed the FSX Compatibility to: Windows Server 2008 SP1, seems to be working lol,I tried everyytthing. Disabling scenery entries didnt work as much as Id hope to. Can actually fly at night with Night Environment UK and normally within 10 MINS OOM but so good so far....try it out and no guarantee it will work for you, diff setups may have differing results, could even be a placebo, but at least I dont hear the ding(as of yet)....please try and report back if it did/did not work for ya.

Hello all, I did my first flight on VATSIM today and for some reason, when I switched to wing view I found this any idea?

I have had this happen twice, both at KSAN. I set up the airplane and flight just like all the others but after I press TO/GA I get a warning "Vertical Stabilizer Configuration". I have checked to see if any failures are active - there are none. All hydraulics systems are also functioning normally. I tried ignoring the failure and continued the takeoff - once the airplane is in the air the warning goes away. Any ideas? Kyle??

Hi, I have just had to reinstall FSX and of course the 777, and all seems fine with the model. But there is a strange loud ticking sound when loading the plane. Its just like a very loud clock ticking. If I change the controls sound level to 0 the the noise dissapears!! Even if the cockpit is C&D the noise is still there. Does anyone know how I can get rid of this at all? Thanks in advance, Keith EDIT . Please ignore. It was the gear handle!!
