PMDG 777

This involves runways which have the same ILS frequency for both directions, in this case EGLL Rwy 27R/09L. It's the same whether using the FSX default EGLL or the Aerosoft EGLL. For 27R, the identifier is IRR and the direction is 271°. For 09L, the identifier is IAA and the direction is 091°. First, if I start with the 777 on Rwy 27R and enter 110.30/271, it is correctly displayed as IRR/271° in the PFD but then immediately changes to IRR/272° and, if I taxi to the 09L end of the runway, the display changes to IAA/272° instead of IAA/091°. hiya there I installed pmdg 777 and I noticed when got on runway all my hardware controls frozen up like pedals and pro x52 joystick throttle together when trying take off no respound to my joystick or pedals throttle. I would like to say same happhed to 747 400 does on that never used to. there a way you can help me fix this issure please thank you from colin

Finally got to getting the 777 and ASN a few days ago and having a few issues with setting up the weather radar. Maybe a Sim Connect issue? when I looked at the ASN SimConnectLog.txt it said..in part.... According to the fcom the FBW system on the 777 corrects for the up elevator and rudder needed to maintain altitude and coordination in a turn up to 30 degrees. However I find myself needing to compensate quite a bit with up elevator to maintain altitude unless the bank angle is changed very slowly. Is this accurate? On the real aircraft does this system only work for very slow bank changes?

Hello, Sometimes I just feel like doing a quick flight on my 777. When I turn the wxr radar on by selecting it on the EFIS panel, I noticed it was blank. I didnt think much of this for a while. But then about 30min ago, I thought to myself shouldnt this be working. I mean I loaded ASN to show real world weather and there is a considerable amount of icing and precipation in the area I live. I then started to to troubleshoot what may be causing the radar not to work. I verified that the controls were set properly then, reinstalled sim connect for ASN. Hi, Could you please help me out anyone? I would highly appreciate it! To disconnect the autopilot, I click the disengage bar and the horn starts to sound, yet when I press the warning sign so it does off and the Disengage Bar back to normal, the horn still keep on going! What am I doing wrong ? Also, to initiate a descent, since now I have had to use V/S but to use VNAV do you have to left click the Altitude Knob after selecting the desired altitude? It woks on Climbs but not Descends. Thanks a lot Mario

On the 777 what other than the trim causes the fbw reference speed to change? How does this differ with and without the autopilot or the flight director engaged?

After install PMDG 777 restarted PC and launch FSX (With aerosoft MEGA airport CDG) in administator mode When i choice Airport CDG and 777 and when i launch flight the bar of menu upside the screen disapears or if i have this bar when i reduce windows i have a black screen. Even though I have routes saved in the FMC there are times when I request routes it comes up with a NO ROUTES AVAILABLE message. I suspect a new route request is only available if the last route is complete.I have tried to clear the route on the FMC to no avail. There must be a way to erase a route entered in error and request another saved route. Colin Booth

Hello, first off hats off to PMDG on this awesome bird... my question might be noob user but anyways, what i am experiencing is not what tutorial shows, i setup my bird for any flight i do use acceleration feature and Pause at TOD, however i get paused at TOD at which point i set my MCP next altitude which is below my cruising altitude, however as soon as I unpause the flight, and bird passes the TOD it does not begin descent even though its flying in VNAN/LNAV mode, is there additional step i am missing or something? in tutorial didn't see anything stating to hit any buttons to let the bird begin descent. For the last few days I have been having a problem with my PMDG 772. I start the engines like usually but when I accelerate the throttle are going but no power at all. I look at my AIR and there is nothing no green line to the engine but the engine are going. Is there anyone who could help please? Thanks Al

I had already written about what I think is something not working correctly in the PMDG 777. I am in cruise at say FL 360 and start the VNAV descent (early, before T/D, but ATC instructed me to descend) to say FL 200. One of the waypoints ahead has an altitude restriction, say /240A (FL 240 at or above). The airplane seems to be willing to reach that altitude immediately and starts an incredible dive up to 10000 ft/min, it goes into overspeed and there appears "VNAV PTH" crossed by a yellow bar on the PFD flight mode annunciator. I tried it several times and it always happens. I don't think this is normal... I have SP1c.

Hi All, After a quite a long pause, I finally had some time to make a short hop with the T7 Freighter (EHAM-EFHK) and I just wanted to post a topic and say how happy I was! For this flight I was using Aerosoft EHAM&EFHK, FSGlobal2010, REX Direct, ASN, PFPX, VOXatc, Aivlasoft efb, fscaptain and everything (for a change) worked like charm, no ctd´s or ooms or any other issues. After loading the 777 SP1c Update, all added 777 liveries disappeared in the list of planes. What should I do? How could I remove the update?

I have been getting constant disconnects from multiplayer sessions with the PMDG 777 After a few minutes I get the "Host has cancelled session, would you like to continue flying single player" Is this normal? Is the PMDG 777 not multiplayer compatible? Happens all the time.

After a long thinking between CS and PMDG 777, I decided to buy PMDG, convinced to buy the best product on the market. After 'getting into confidence' with cockpit's countless functions on the ground, then came the time to fly. The first flight was a short test hop, and everything run flawlessly. So I've noticed that there are variations to flight decks within the -200. Mainly, there is either a seatbelt sign and no smoking, seatbelt and no electronics, or just a seatbelt sign. I've noticed this in pax versions. Is this designed like this intentionally, or is it an error? Marc Eichler
