PMDG 777

Hi guys, I downloaded the unpainted livery for the 777-200 and so far I've been flying it for chartered flights which does not belong to any airlines, however, I've noticed that the rudder flap still has the original PMDG livery, is this intended? I was thinking that the unpainted livery was similar to the 737's Chromate Green livery. Thanks for the repies in advance!

I recently bought the PMDG 777 for p3d last night. When I open P3D and I want to activate it, no activation window pops up :( Andrej Vukovic

First off - I am loving the T7 fantastic aircraft. I decided I would do a simple repaint using the paint kit. All is well apart from during night flights there are no cabin lights visible through the windows. Lights work properly on all other aircraft apart from my repaint. I have tried using the FMC to turn the intensity up but still nothing. Thanks Liam Carbin

I've been using the P3D 777, 200 and 300 and find the pushback on the 300 continues considerably longer than the 200 even with the same settings in the FMC. Using the default distance, and nose angle of 90, (Left or Right didn't matter) I will be pushed way too far, and finally stopping halfway into the next gate building. The plane makes a very large arc instead of a tighter arc. Then I'm told to set the brakes as usual. If I try the same setup with the 200 it works like it should. Is there a setting or similar that I can adjust? or is this expected behavior. The FSX 300 version did not act this way. Thanks, Mark

Does this option in the ini still work with this release? [sDK] EnableBroadcastData=1 I have some addons that rely on this but they are complaining that I haven't set the option. Tried restarting P3D and the addons a few times but not joy. Anyone have ideas?

Suddenly having trouble with airline names not being added automatically to the airlines.cfg file when installing new liveries via the Ops Center. Having to manually add them each time. Any input is welcome.

It's the only plane I'm having this issue with, and I really like the Cessna trim wheel. I tried removing/rebuilding FSUIPC.ini, but this did not resolve the issue. Fortunately, I can use the buttons I have assigned to adjust trim up/down, but as I say I like the Cessna trim wheel. When I initialize the T7 I can see the trim indicator is static at about 3 degrees or so. As soon as I move the trim wheel the indicator begins slowly but steadily ticking the nose down one notch every few seconds even though I've stopped moving the Cessna trim wheel. Ideas, besides abandoning the Cessna trim wheel for T7?

Hello Gens, I just got pmdg 777 for p3d v 2.4 and just tried to install it.However after installation and starting p3d all as admin btw. no activation screen is present.Then I load 777 and I am right in the cockpit. All black yoke turned full left and nothing is clickable.Outside view no landing gear visible.Just for record my UAC is off and no antivirus on my system at the moment..P3D is vanilla without any addons. I know pmdg is not promising that product will run in W8.1 but I know there are some folks who made it work.. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Everytime I desingage the auto pilot for a manual landing, the sound alert never stops, even after click the check Warning and set the desingage button to the normal position.

Hi, a question please, yesterday I flown the very same route with 737 NGX first and with 777 then, both with latest SP. After activating and executing a certain specific STAR into the 737 NGX FMC I see that the stuff after the landing runway ( into the NAV screen ) is represented by a light blue dotted line, this way that's easy to distinguish such " vectors " from the route. I have to say that this light blue dotted line is not the missed approach but a never ending straight dotted line...dunno what's that... I have removed the 777, downloaded the newest installer from PMDG, run it as admin, checked both fsx and fsx SE, FSXSE and Steam are on a separate drive. Installed restarted, Tried the initial activation on both FSX and FSXSE, running it Steam as admin as I can not run FSXSE as admin, in FSX it works perfect every time, In fsx SE I can´t pass the security warnings: The publisher could not be verified, are you sure you want to run this software and when I click run the other one appears, would you like to designate this module etc, I click yes and I get right back to the other one and I can do this forever, nothing happens even If I choose no. Just a quick question before I install the update for the 777 that will make it compatible with SE. If I install it, will I have to re-install my liveries?

Hi, I have the pmdg 777-200LR and the 300ER. I use a CH products flightsim yoke. Just recently, I have lost the ability to steer using my yoke (I don't use rudder to steer on the ground). The way I usually steer on the ground is by turning my yoke left or right (which is used for alierons), which would also make the nose wheel turn in the direction i was steering. For some reason now, when I turn my yoke, it activates the alierons, but doesn't turn the nose gear anymore. I have tried unplugging and plugging my yoke but that didn't work. Please help! It is very frustrating to buy a product for the second time just for a new simulation platform and install the product and attempt to run it with the resultant "The PMDG 777x does not support running in Lockheed Martin Prepar3D. The simulator will now exit" And yes I did install the P3D version into P3D 2.4. And no, there is not a FSX version coexisting on the machine. I would really like to enjoy the T7 on P3d P Freeman

Today I did a fresh install of windows 7, FSX SE & P3Dv2. The first thing I installed was the PMDG 777 into FSX SE. When I loaded the simulator I didn't get the registration window and the plane loaded without wheels and black displays. So I un installed and tried again. Same thing happened! So I tried P3D and that also did the exact same thing! Long story short is SimConnect is missing. Once I installed it the registration windows showed up!

This is probably getting tiresome for everyone, so I will keep it brief. I uninstalled the B773ER and B772LR and tried installing both to the steam edition. The base file works problem free but when I attempt to install the -300ER, it says it can't find the base installation and that it is looking at a blank location. The registry past was set to the :SE version of FSX. Can anyone help? Also have attempted other fixes, including having both boxes checked (gives an error), installed all MSI's from the simconnect and still go nowhere. Has anyone else got a solution. Doing the checklist with the cold and dark state, I'm having the alert EFIS CONTROL PANEL L DISPLAY SELECT PNL My NAV panel on left seat just don't change range and functions. What am I missing?

Purchased and installed the T7 for P3D last night and have a found a couple of issues so far: 1. Tried loading requesting a route and the FMS pretty much froze. Pressing any LS or alpha/num keys resulted in a 3 - 5 second wait before it did anything 2. On three occasions I could not close the cargo doors. Pressing the Close Cargo doors LS keys did nothing and required restarting P3D for them to work 3. This is not really an issue per se but I cannot seem to get the FPS past 31 even with the most settings in the middle and AA turned down. I had better FPS with the T7 in FSX. I'll be opening a support ticket with these issues but I am curious to see if anyon…

Had some free time yesterday and took a shot at painting the -300ER in the livery of Air Force One: Still working on it - will see if I can boost the shine of the bare metal belly a bit and darken the color on the outer edge of the Presidential Seal. If there is anything else I've missed let me know!

Just about to hit the Buy button when i suddenly stopped. Is the 777 going to be ok with 2.5 or is it best to wait. I'm hearing about changed file structures and and stuff.so the question is...should i wait till 2.5 is released before buying. thanks for any help steve

Can someone please explain how the go around thrust works? During landing if I press the TOGA switch it seems that the thrust does not increase or increases just a little in order to keep the airplane maintaining Vref, without a tendency to climb if the A/P is engaged. Further, I read on the FCTM that if I press TOGA a second time, the thrust should increase to the maximum G/A thrust, but nothing happens if I press TOGA a second time on the PMDG 777. Thanks.

I cannot release the parking brake or set it, either with the keyboard, hardware, or in the vc. Someone suggested that I may have it assigned to more than one keys. The problem is only with the PMDG T7. I checked all my hardware and keyboard assignments. I can't find any double entries. The strange thing is that if I use the FMC-ground services, to either set or remove the wheel blocks, That will set or release the brakes. The is the ONLY way to set or release. I had posted on this previously but I cannot get to my post for some reason, so I am posting again. Gnacino

I just did a complete FSX reinstall a few days ago in an attempt to get the sim to run better, and while it seems that I succeeded (it runs at around 30fps near large cities and airports, and at a steady 60 everywhere else - using various GA aircraft), I just can't get the 777 to work properly. In the exterior view, it runs perfectly, but as soon as I switch to VC view, my framerate drops to somewhere between 10 and 20. Now, I do understand it's a very detailed cockpit, but I didn't expect it to be quite THAT detailed. Even with ALL of the graphics settings either unchecked or turned all the way to minimum and with no traffic, I'm struggling to reach 60fps when sittin…
