PMDG 777

This is a newbie question. I am getting the plane setup so that I can start the learning curve. I am a bit confused about pushback. I've checked this and other forums; gone through the documentation and it still seems a bit vague to me. I have GSX. However, I read that it doesn't play well with the 777. I looked in the CDU and I see pushback distance. How would I go about determining the pushback distance and turn radius to get me to the taxi line? I am sure I am missing something. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks.

When flying 777-300er I occasionally open the FS X map. After closing the map the plane is missing. Can this be corrected?

Hi All, I'm having a problem that is only occurring in the 777. In the cruise phase I have very severe oscillations in the altitude. The plane will constantly drop about 1000feet then start climbing and then overshooting the set altitude by about 1000feet. The rate I'd decent/ascent can be as much as 6000fpm. This occurs no matter what weather settings I use. It does it using ASN, standard sim weather and no weather at all. When using FSCaptain & ASN, FSCaptain will show heavy turbulence whilst ASN shows no turbulence at all. I've tried with FSCaptain off & the result is the same. I have an odd issue that's occurring in FSX:SE, I have all of the FSX Pmdg addons, a boxed copy of FSX and The steam edition. I held off installing the steam edition due to reports of PMDG aircraft not working within the game. Upon reading that they are now supported within the steam edition - I did a full uninstall and re install of the steam edition, updates the SDK for sim connect and installed the 777. It seems odd but upon starting fsx:se I'm asked for the permissions for the 777, but no activation prompt window unlike the previous boxed edition I had installed. I just bought both version 772 and 773. I have problems activate both products but I have not seen where to put the activation code in P3D version 2.5. Where exactly I put in the activation key when the aircraft is loaded up because is not like how you put it in FSX. Would some one nice guide me how to do it. Sorry for the second reply. But my problem hasn't solved yet. I put a youtube link for you to observe what's happening. My problem is, as the altitude captures during the go-around, the speed starts to increase, as N1 goes up and down on the max levels. Than the aircraft overshoots the altitude due to high speed. Looks like the speed stays on the go-around thrust and doesn't cone back for a level flight. I've tried disconencting my joystick just in case it might be interfering. No joy.. Please help..

Hi All, I have just installed the new Prepar V2.5 onmy computer---this is a big change upgrade which esentially means that everything starts from "New"--You need new installers for most of your add on's---I mean it is very hit and miss with all your third party stuff and leaving on old stuff can cause all sorts of problems (I found this out the hard way)----so----starting from scratch I now have a brand new Prepar and FSUIPC and PMDG T7---The T7 is way way cool---the sound is creepy realistic and reminds of the actual aircraft in a similar fashion the A2A 172 which is freaky realiatic that way---(I am a retired pilot so I love the imersion levels that bring back olfac…

Hi, folks. I just purchased the 777 for P3D, my first PMDG purchase. I never thought I'd get into long haul flights but this addon alone is making me rethink that! I use the Elite King Air TQ for my addons and really like it a lot. Unlike the Saitek TQ I formerly used, the Elite uses its own configuration utility. This has worked just fine up until this point. The throttles actually work quite well in the 777 when used manually and the reversers are excellent as I can use as much or as little as I need. The issue I am having is the autothrottle is not working correctly. During takeoff, I advance the power levers to about 55% N1 before clicking the TOGA clickspot. The …

I know this has been discussed over and over, but.... Have any T7 updates afected or changed how the AP disconnects? Now seems whatever key commands or switches I use, the AP will not disconnect ;-((( FMC setting is currently Ctrl+Shift+z Also tried just z but although i hear the click, NOTHING happens. I do not wish to use 'click spots' on the panel. I generally use FSUIPC to asign buttons on the yoke, only that one seems to have stopped working whatever i do.

Hello: Uninstall PMDG 777 FSX and reinstall PMDG 777 FSX-SE in the Operations Center does not appear to install the Add-On Liveries PMDG 777-SE, and uninstall and reinstall again all and everything just does not appear to download and install the Add-On Liveries for the 777-SE. someone can help me.

Sorry if it has been analyzed before, but I coudn´t get to find it. The inbound display of 777 shows 2 informations at the top of it at the right side. First is GS ( Ground speed) the other is TAS (True Airspeed). Is it not more common to show the IAS ( indicated Airspeed), instead TAS, since sometimes controllers ask you to say the Indicated Airspeed in some vectors approaches? Is it possible to change the TAS for IAS ? How can I achieve this task? The Indicated airspeed is ialready tagged at Prepar3d config, but PMDG 777 doesn´t seem to care about this? Hello guys, I stil tried to look this up in the archive but I couldn't find any topic that fits to my problem. Sometimes when I launch the PMDG 777 the seat position in the VC is a little bit left of the center of the seat(On the Captains' seat as well as on the FO' seat). If the aircraft now gets turned, the seat position moves "clockwise".... However this problem occures just sometimes, but I couldn't find any trigger for this issue. Thanks for your help! Phil

Recently I started to see issues with Audio inside cockpit view, I was wondering if someone ever had this before. For Example I don't get any audio for moving knobs, for extending flaps, for extending gear. if I start from a cold and dark state I don't get any audio from panels once they start. Weird

Greetings, I am setting up my shiny new 777 in P3D. I have all of the axes setup except the tiller. Now I notice a number of posts about this issue. But to be honest, I think what I'm looking for is more of a newbie thing...so please bear with me. I use Aerosoft's Airbus, and while I know it's not apples to apples; their tiller is assigned to Throttle #3. There is also a button to transfer control of the aircraft from the tiller to the rudder. That is modeled after the real plane. Please understand...I am not saying one is better than the other. I am just relaying what I understand from the Airbus. I have a controller with an available axis to use as a tiller. …

Hi Guys, Happy New Year to everyone at PMDG! I have an issue that only seems tho affect the 777. I am unable to experience the sun glare effect in both the interior views, while it works flawlessly in other aircraft (including the PMDG737). I have the effect activated within the FSX settings.
