PMDG 777

Hello all, Recently done a re install of Flight Simulator X due to not done it in a long time before i done the re install Active Sky Next (ASN) Weather Radar for the PMDG 777 worked but now that i have re installed the PMDG 777 and ASN the radar doesn't want to work and all were installed without any file errors and i have trusted them to run on FSX also but still nothing. Any help would be great to get it back up and running. Thanks

I am having trouble reaching cruise alt. I have it in the FMC and the Flightplan. I have not been able to go above 28K. All is well on the climb and then it levels off. Chris Chiozza

I am on FSX:SE, Windows 7 64bit, Nvidia GTX460, Intel Core i7 2600 3.40GHz, 8GHz of RAM. When I install the PMDG 777-200LR Base pack, and the -300 there is never an activation window, I did the thing with the simconnect installers but that didnt work, I was just thinking about reinstalling FSX as a whole, what do you all think is wrong and how could I potentially fix this problem?

Hi When I move my joystick to control the yoke left and right it does not move in the virtual 3D cockpit. In the plan view though you can see the aileron moving and when you fly it works. What went wrong and how can I fix it please. stelios.

I wish, I wouldn't have to suffer with the constant crashing and failures caused by trying to run windows on a Mac! Seriously though, is this ever likely to happen. From what i've seen this package would blow away an opposition on that format. Fingers Crossed Oggy

Does anyone know why the joystick disconnects within P3D? When I first load the sim it is there. Then after a while it only shows the mouse? Both Saitek and Logictek do this.

This is talking about Split airport due out soon. Making the airport use memory outside of the sim Airports not using VAS = Happy days.

Hi all, before I start please feel free to go READ THE MANUAL and shame me for posting such silliness! : P So to put it as simple as possible: I have a PMDG 777-200 with Short range fuel and empty (PAX or CARGO version) I take off and do some air work (navigation in the area) planning on either touching down or touch and go back in. I notice that my minimum VREF is 180 to 190kts on the Tape and won't let me fly any slower with my A/T setting , however if I plan a route with the same Fuel/Payload (150 miles or so not much more different then flying some of the navigation in the area) my Approach REF in the FMC can be 138 (143 VREF + 5) with Flaps 25. Tried posting in an older topic, but I think it is better to do a fresh request for advice. I installed a fresh copy of p3d v2.5 into D:\Prepar3Dv2 Had to instal from msi as .exe would fail five minutes in (downloaded twice, installed using admin rights and so on with firewall and anti virus off). It works, but is missing simconnect files, which I installed from redist folder. I cannot get the sp2 file to install, and it keeps failing and that means the missing wheels and everything else related. hi every time i use 777 i land at a airport and end up on a remote stand how can i get to a airgate i gone and ramp on the confiq and just gate there now but still dont work thanks martin

How many here are using the FS2C Voice edition for the 777? I'm thinking of getting it (my FS2Crew purchase) and was keen on some objectove feedback. I've seen Froogle's video on it which looks good, but am concerned about the 'voice training' issue.

I just installed P3D 2.5 and also reinstalled the PMDG 777 after reading it works under the new version. However, hardly any click spots in the cockpit seem to be functional, all screens are black, the yoke is turned sideways and the aircraft doesn't show its gear. Can anyone let me know what to do about this? Thanks Matt

The is a completely new install of Win 8.1 and P3D. I had so many issues had to reinstall. Now the plane will not initialize when starting up. Also when I try to install SP1c it does not see the base install. I used admin to install base package. Also it never asked me to enter a license either. Chris Chiozza

Now when I load the 777 it goes full throttle. Never did it before. Reinstalled same thing.. Geez this is just not worth 90 bucks and the headaches.. No more for me...BTW does not do it on any other aircraft. Works fine. I feel like the Commodore 64 years. Nothing worked. But that was expected.

I have the aircraft B777 of pmdg and faces a problem. introduced during the flight that is not responding for approximately 10 seconds. the bar simulator disappears fsuipc. Know someone who is due to this problem;

mornin' ladies and gents, I've been flying the 777 since it was released and i love it. my typical MO is to take off and hand fly to approximately FL18 and on landing I usually hand fly to touchdown once I've completed the approach checklist (FS2Crew), usually around 9,000 or 10,000 feet. I normally use the ILS approach for vertical guidance. Now I want to simulate the ILS being inoperative, I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the 777 can generate it's own glide slope if there is not one available. A simple questions - have anyone here been able to complete a flight to FT CYYZ? I tried this evening with the lite texture pack, and I'm not able to land. I made save about 10 miles from the airport, and when loading it, I will run out of memory in about 2 minutes. It will start with 700 mb of free memory which goes fast towards zero. I know this a quite heavy scenery when it comes to memory, but I'm just curious if it's possible at all. I have Orbx global + vector and ASN. AI-traffic set to 30 %. (Prepar3D 2.5 btw) Can't wait for the 64-bit version...

Hi all, I have just purchased a copy of 777 from the PMDG website. I am just wondering if I will need to do any special setup or get any special files if I am running a triple screen setup in nvidia surround mode? I ask because I remember that when I bought the PMDG747 package, I had some problems to use some of the instruments and controls and I had to get PMDG to send me some special instrument configuration files. I seem to recall that the 777 only has a virtual cockpit and no 2D cockpit, so hopefully this should not be an issue. Is that correct?

hi folks After a complet reinstall of windows and all pmdg and fsx products reinstalled, at my first flight as KAL53, i get a FMC message on eicas while there is nothing wrong on fmc. It seems like and old issue that i recall discusing before service packs were out... Any body has an idea ? thanks

Hello. Today i try to replay the Asiana214 Crash of San Francisco in my FSX with the PMDG 777 . I Know there are some Threads about this topic but non anwserd my question and i don´t want to refresh a years old topic. I Used that video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MFPSfGoT1U to rebuild the situation.... My Problem: I Make more than 20 Trys but i NEVER becom a "Hold" Mode of the AT. After more trys in other conditions i realise that the HOLD Mode only comes if i make a Descent by the FLCH. For Example i´m on 10.000 Feet. Make a Target Alt of 6000 in the MCP and then push FLCH. After that i´m able to activate HOLD when i Pull the Throttle…
