PMDG 777

Hey there. I am using SimBrief for my planning software. One thing I never knew how to do properly is knowing how to load cargo on the 777 and 737. By default, I use 40 to 60 pounds per passenger, and spread the load evenly between front and rear holds, plus a bit to account for carry-ons. I know that the baggage containers weigh, and though not so much on the 737, the 777 undoubtedly carries additional cargo loads to destination. So, how can I figure out realistic cargo loads?

Hi guys! I have a button on my Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS joystick, which I have assigned to TO/GA. In every other plane, it works fine. However, in the PMDG 777, the screen goes white and results in a CTD. I was just wondering if there are any ways to fix these issues for me. My affinity mask is 5... and load is I think only 100% on my first core when landing. The freezing happens in both the NGX and 777 but only in highly dense areas. Virtual Memory was at ~2.9GB, and it's version 1.10.6320 Pitch: The airspeed increases and it starts gaining altitude whilst pitching down to keep on path. Is it just me being a noob? Freeze:

I am hoping to avail of the extensive knowledge base on here to answer a few questions for me. A while back in one of its updates PMDG I think, introduced a fuel & payload shudder simulation when you were loading them on the T7. Somehow my operations centre got loaded yesterday and I deleted some notifications in error without paying too much attention to what I was doing. I am missing an ATC prompt on the EICAS "LARGE ATC MESSAGE", when I select COMM as requested, there are no messages on the pictured PDC regarding ATC, the bottom line is I did not have an ATC uplink, so no new messages as shown on page 35 of TUTORIAL 1.5. Thank you all for any reply. Jacobus Homan

Good evening PMDG, So I recently built a new computer and moved my flight sim rig to it. That included a fresh install of the PMDG 777 and the expansion. I also downloaded each update and installed each in order for both the base LRF and 300ER expansion (SP1 through SP1d). The PMDG operations center says I'm fully up-to-date with version 1.10.6320. However, when I start FSX I still get the notification from RAAS saying an update is available. From what I understand if version 1.10.6320 is installed, than the RAAS should be current as well; however I still get the message and in my RAASPRO main folder the RAAS.dll version 1.2.147 from May 2014. Hello, I noticed that when I fly using PMDG 777-300ER, I always see the texture bleeding inside cockpit. Please refer to the picture. I am not sure what to do to solve this. I have been looking around, googling, searching and I haven't found an answer. Hi everybody, I just try the service based failures system (multiplier 10x), and I first experience the FWD CARGO FIRE LOOP B, that I service after landing the aircraft. Then I had the AFT CARGO FIRE LOOP A, that I service after landing as well. And now, I have the ENG 2 FIRE LOOP B FAULT. Actually, I'd like to know if I'm doing things properly. Each time I have the CARGO FIRE messages, I arm the corresponding button on the overhead, then I press for 1 second the DISCH button just under (as indicated in the corresponding fire protection checklist. Hi Guys, I am submitting a ticket as well, just noticed that when I am using time compression in the PMDG 777 whilst using MYTraffic 6 in P3D V2.5 (latest hotfixes included) that the traffic keeps reloading after about 10minutes on x16. Did a flight today from KMCO to EGKK and it happened a lot but when I turned the time compression off there were NO issues didn't try and reload once. Thought it a bit strange that's all and seeming as you guys are preparing an update for the 777 in P3D making it compatible with V2.5 latest version etc.. etc... then I thought if it was something you knew that might be triggering it in the 777. Dear Avsimmers, This is my first post and it's going to be short and to the point. I recently lost my installers for the 777. I was able to recover the zip file for the -300 Extension but I still need the one for the Base Package. I also can't find the e-mail with the Order Number and the PMDG Website says it won't find any of my e-mail addresses stored in their servers. This is weird because I remember buying the product, but it seems as if my order somehow doesn't exist in PMDG's servers.

Hi. I have a question related to loading 777 according to PFPX load sheets. In PFPX I can see two fields related to weights: 1. Cargo 2. Payload After I sed number of pax payload rises, this is clear. Then I add let's say 20000 lbs of cargo. Payload increases again. Let's say cargo is 20000 lbs, payload with pax is 10000 lbs which gives me a total of 30000 lbs. Now, how should I load this into 777. When I go to pax section of fmc loader, every time I increase number of pax there weight increases. Then I load cargo. How should I do it, should I load total payload calculated by PFPX or should I load pax and cargo separately? I can see that PFPX calculates avera…

Hi, I've installed 777 in FSX a year ago and updated it until SP1d. Do I need reactivation after installation of SP1d given it requires full uninstalltion of 777?

I have problems retuning ILS once landed and when intending to takeoff and land at other airport, it shows "ILS tune inhibited MCP" It happens even when I delete the old flight plan by selecting new departure and arriving airports.- What I am doing wrong ? Thanks

When ever I land the 777, the autobrake turns off as soon as I toucdown. No bouncing, just a good soft landing, or hard for that matter, either one. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi guys, I installed service pack 1d and Fs2 crew for 777-200 pmdg. My engine 1 starts when I power it up but there is an engine fail warning on the display and it doesn't respond to throttle even though it is running. Please help

is there a way to change the pause at TOD to something closer to 60 to 100 miles or so? It would help with the FS2CREW arrival briefing recommendation regards

Hi, I'm having problems flying tutorial 1.5. Can anyone out there offer some advice. I've managed to complete the flight and land successfully at EDDM, but not without a lot of button pushing and intervention. My main problem seems to be that I cannot get the T7 to descend at TOD even though I am in VNAV and have reset the ALTITUDE to 5000ft. I suspect that the reason is that the FMA thrust mode is still in climb (CLB) from the first step climb and not cruise (CRZ). If I let the FMC control the step climb is self by entering the new altitude of FL370, the thrust mode changes to CLB and then back to CRZ when the new altitude is reached as I would expec…

I need to assign buttons (TQ) to the following PMDG functions TOGA (L and R) A/T Disengage (L/R) Fuel Cutoff 1/2 using FSUIPC? When I select FS control, I don't see any of these. Any ideas?

Someone posted a question about this a few months ago and got no answer. Going to try again...I am currently going IAH-LHR and have been monitoring my inertial position closely, and by the time I get near Boston, the inertial position has over 4NM of drift.That seems rather high (I could be wrong). I've also seen screenshots of people doing similar long haul flights without that amount of drift. The only thing I can think of is I guess as long as ANP remains less than RNP, I am in the clear and shouldn't worry about it? Thanks, Tyler Mason

Hello, Just finish my first full flight with the 777, what a wonderful plane, thanks you PMDG. I do have one question, I usually fly in the full screen mode (with VC cockpit view1) and I open the Overhead Lower Panel (view 2) in a second screen located on top of my main one, on the second view none of the Knob/Switch works, if I move the mouse over them nothing happens. But if I fly in windows mode then everything works fine. I also notice that the instrument menu doesn't offer a view of the overhead panel, nor their is a hot spot for it. I have try the MD-11, 747 and the 737ngx from PMDG and they all work find in full screen, so it is not FSX:SE that seems …
