PMDG 777

Hi there, First of all Happy New Year! I would like to share my new Throttle levers to use on the Saitek Quadrant, flying the PMDG T7. I'm still working on the speedbrake lever and also on an adapter to mount the Saitek Quadrant in an angle of about 45 degrees to the desk.. More pics will follow.

I recently updated to FSX SE and installed the PMDG 777 2/3/F Base and Emirates aircraft. However none of them work. The control column is hard left and he mouse doesn't operate any switches. Other aircraft operate as normal with the control columns and mouse. any ideas?

I have been a naysayer as to how anything like PMDG T7 could cope w/ dense scenery and do good enough. I'm not flying out of the most demanding airports by any means, but so far I'm impressed. I found in most fairly complex areas (KSAN for example) frame rate performance is roughly 50% of unobstructed forward view, and ranges between 32 down to 22 in VC view. The very good news is that it is really very smooth even down to 22 frames. Up in the air over SD and KLAX frames stay lowish in the mid to high 20's, but it's really very smooth, so it's ok. All in all, quite impressive. Hopefully someday we'll see more use of the massive processing power in modern GPU…

So I bought the 777 for P3D and loaded it up, then strapped in and took off from KPAE, turning left to 085 I flew for three days straight. On the third day I was over Central China and while doing a mid-air refueling, things went south. Three days. Nonstop, at FL250 at .72M. Three days. Twenty four hours times three. Thats darn pretty good I think. Thanks PMDG, you did a great job, as usual. Tim

Just purchased P3D version of T7, but I noticed after a long flight and in final approach, once I disengage the auto pilot, the york in 3d cockpit doesn't move sync with my hands, but the plane do follow my control action. Any idea?

So I've been tempted to buy the 777 for P3D for a while now, but there's always one question on my mind: will I get decent performance on my system when I fly it? I'd be looking for a minimum of ~20 FPS. Would anyone be able to guess, based on my system specs, how well the 777 would perform on my system? I'll post my system specs below. Hi everyone. I realized that there is a Vmo and mmo contradiction between pmdg 777 and the real one. I performed a test fligth to see this clearly and the results shows it. The Vmo is 330 IAS and the mmo is .81 at FL270 And as you can see below , there is a huge difference between the parameters. The VMO is 350 IAS and the mmo is .87 in addition , Every single thing was the same with the real flight. such as temperature , track , grossweight , wind factor. Nobody believes that 600 fts of level difference can make this kinda huge difference between the parameters.

Hey guys! I recreated the two paints we see on our CC-150 Polaris aircraft, but for the 77L. Everything you see here (except for the Canadian Coat of Arms on the VIP plane) is 100% hand-drawn. I used hundreds of photos and tried to make it as realistic as I could. Fun fact: Finding the font for the RCAF-ARC logo near the tail of the VIP plane took hours of research, but it is the exact one. The font for the numbers is based on the British RAF number font, but has some modifications - I had to create my own font. Hey guys i tried to research this before posting, even re-read the manual. i have an issue when on the outside view i see smoke coming from the center of the aircraft and being pushed backwards to the rear of the aircraft. There aren't any fires, {even activated some and discharged them } thinking it was a bug.. i even see it in flight... i dont know how to attach an image to show you. anyone else having this issue? any fix to it?

Hi all, I would appreciate any guidance on setting the affinity on the processor check boxes,as you can see,I am running a 6 core with Hyper threading,and no AF entry in P3D cfg. Ive been flying the 777 on fsx since sp1 came out and have never had a problem, done 12hr + flights on fsx using Active sky next. Now all of a sudden during cruise the 777 started rolling on its own. So I switched off the a/p and engaged the anti ice, but I was having trouble controlling the aircraft, I switched the flight controls to direct mode and observed the flight controls page on the lower du. Even with ailerons showing neutral the aircraft would roll on its own and I had to apply almost full aileron to combat it. The only things that were different were the fact that I was using fsgrw instead of asn, and im using the p3d 777. Before this I did a few flights…

Hi, First of all thanks for this beautiful bird for P3D! She flies soooo nice.... I only have 1 tiny little problem when entering data into the CDU... it does not take ever click.... what I mean is if I enter 3000 (clicking on the CDU in the VC) I click 3 and 3x0 (rather quickly). most of the time it will only take 1 or 2 of the 3 zeros...... so I have ot wait until the input is actually showing in the CDU input field before it will take the next click.... don't know how to discribe it differently - it just seem that the imput is slower then in FSX......wher I did'nt have this problem.... can anything be done about that? regards

Hi Guys Just a quick question I already have PMDG 777 base pack and 300ER for FSX. Looking at potentially the P3D platform but am concerned does everything work in both the base pack and 300ER versions of P3D. I thought I read somewhere here the Taxi Cam on the 300ER for P3D is INOP and does not work just as an example. Also does it fly the same? Thanks Duncan Odgers

I am wondering if it would be advantageous to PMDG customers if we had a sub-forum for the P3D products. I was waiting for PMDG to release their products on the P3D platform before I made the switch. I will be switching to P3D as my primary simulation as soon as the NGX is released for P3D. I would rather go to a sub-forum than wade through all the topics in the 777 forum. Just a suggestion.

Hello, if I start the PMDGT7 in cold and dark mode, I can't put in my current location, because there are no boxes. so I can't fly because nothing wil show up on my ND (navigation display) how do i solve this problem.

Hi, If I use the alt + tab combination to leave fsx all works fine. But when I want to go back to fsx the monitor is flickering and most of the graphics are gone. This also happens when I move the 777 around the airport with menu go to within fsx. I already add highmemfix=1to my fsx.cfg System I7 4000mhz Nvidia 980 Win 7 64 bit Any ideas? Is there any offset mapping list available for B777X as I got it for B737 NGX (Offset_Mapping_PMDG737NGX.pdf). I'm programming in VB and I absolutely need offset values for input data in order to adapt my cockpit to B777X. To generate events, offset values are available in PMDG B777 sdk C++ program. Hi there, I've just gone through 80+ pages of topic without finding any correct answer for my issue. All 3 cameras displayed in the taxi cam window are "too much" zoomed. (I've made a screenshot but I don't know how to paste it in the forum) I'm unable to see any of the wheels. I followed the ony advise i found in the forum (setting WideViewAspect=True) with no success. I run FSX on a 2560 x 1440 27" 16/9 monitor. It's not a very important issue... The 777 is fully and greatly flyable! But it's still a (little) pain! Everything beside this taxi cam seems to work perfectly! I would apreciate if anyone can help. Thanks in advanced
