Hello everyone, I am just wondering if PMDG could make a EFB for there B772/3 aircraft. Am not to sure if this "topic" has already been discussed but I would just love PMDG to make an 777 EFB App. When I mean app, I would love to see if they really could go "hardcore" (as they do any ways B) ) on there app, if they made one. Things like real world EFB's such as performance pages for V-speeds, ext..... Thanking you all very much, Cheers, Ellis.M.

This picture on Wikipedia shows a deployed RAT in what appears to be normal flight. Is there any reason a RAT would be deployed for anything other than a failed engine/generator scenario? After installing my new GTX 980. Hello together, i have some kind of a strange problem. Even if i have the dynamic head movement settings in the fsx.cfg file all set to 0, i have still a movement of the pov in the virtual cockpit. I already tried different settings of my TrackIR because i thought maybe that has some influence but no difference. Even if it's deactivated, there is still some movement especially at landings after touchdown. Is there another possibility, i haven't took into account? Thanks, Matt Neville

Hey all I'm a new guy with the 777. So far I love the aircraft, but I have one problem I can't seem to fix. Asked all my friends in the community I fly in that have the 777 and none of them have ever heard of it nor do they have a solution. I have scoured the forums but to no avail. So when I first installed I was getting RAAS call-outs when approaching and on a runway and was pleasantly surprised. Didn't know PMDG included that feature. Then after about a flight or two it stopped and I forgot about it. Asked my friend about what it was called that did that when I remembered and learned it was RAAS. So I had purchased the 777-200 back in, July, or June. I bought the extended download service as well, to be safe. My computer had died(Hard drive completely fried) and lost all of my data. I just re installed FSX, and my download link for the 777 is expired. HI, I have a question. I have done many flights now with the T7, but one thing that is keeps coming up is that the autobrake on landing is pretty heavy (she stops in a dime). it is almost unrealistic!! I landed flaps 24 VREF 146 (landed VREF +5) She was only 2tons under MLW. (14t fuel left, full pax, 31190t cargo) I used Autobrake 2 and idle reverse thrust. No significant winds. something like 5-6 knots of headwind Still she stopped so insanely fast!!! So how is this done in real life? Cause this gives me the feeling that they use no autobrake at all! just spoilers, reversers and then some manual braking under 60 knots. I watched some movies on…

Bonjour, sometimes in flight then all is good, i have an alarm of Equip Cooling OVRD; i try to shutdown OVRD by clicking on it, AUTO appears, but a short time after, i have another alarm with OVRD. How can i resolve this problem ?. It's an original PMDG 777-200 sure. :-) Thank's.

I just bought the 777 and 300 expansion. I'm trying to setup my EZDok camera views, but I'm having a strange issue with the 777. When I click "Aircraft" in the middle column, EZDok takes me outside the aircraft, but the actual camera is still on "Virtual Cockpit" and not "EZDok Universal Camera Addon" or whatever it is. Anyone know how to fix this? Everything works inside: But outside, the camera is still stuck to Virtual Cockpit.

I have a problem when inputting revised V speeds into the FMC. For my flight VHHH-OMDB in a B77W today, i received computed V speed values of 162, 167 and 172 kts. Using the TOPER calculator to recalculate the V speeds for the first time, I was given 166, 174 and 184 kts. Overriding the V1 speed with 166 was accepted. On entering the 174 for Vr, I received the 'INVALID INPUT' message. Likewise if I tried to override the V2 value. Why is this happening?

When entering a radial distance for a fix in the FMC, I am presented with an "Invalid Entry" error when entering a non-integer distance, such as 3.6 DME. However, 3 or 4 work just fine. The FMC on the NGX does allow me to input decimal distances. Does the 777 really not allow this? I have a feeling I'm making a minor error that I'm not noticing. Hi everyone, Just doing a flight from KDEN to EGLL at the moment and was wondering if the WXR Request function in the ALTN page is actually simulated, because I can't seem to get it to do anything. I have AS Next and the en-route winds upload absolutely beautifully (I have no idea how the PMDG 777 does that but it does it very well), as does the descent forecast. I've set my ETOPS alternates and two arrival alternates in the ALTN page but when I press WXR Request, it just says "REQUESTING" the "REQUEST SENT", then nothing else happens. Anyway, thanks chaps.

Yesterday I was checking out flighaware out of KORD and clicked on the flight plan for UA895 to VHHH. I thought I would mess around with PFPX to see what the route looked like (below from flightaware). I noticed it took a pretty northern route (if the flt plan is correct in flightaware). I was a little stumped on picking a suitable ETOPS airport for this flight plan. What would you pick for the flightplan below? I do understand the basics of ETOPs planning but would be curious to hear what you might pick. I also added the suitable ETOP airports PFPX generated below. Hello, I have noticed a feature of a real B777 being described here: http://www.infinidim.org/pt-update-main-gear-steering-and-thrust-application which I am unable to replicate in PMDG B777-200LR. Could you please check it and tell me if I am just trying wrongly or if it is not simulated? "Main gear steering engages when the CM1 tiller is beyond approximately 13° and remains engaged until the CM1’s tiller has returned to approximately 9° – after this point main gear locking takes approximately 5 seconds. Fellow simmers, I recently noticed an issue when conducting a flight from an addon airport, and have since realized that this applies to nearly all of them (have experienced the issue at FSDT CYVR and T2G OTHH among many others). Basically, the edges to the landing lights appear jagged from the cockpit. It looks awkward, and spoils much of its visual appeal when looking out of the flight deck. I've included a picture below. Hello, I just started flying again, took a few months off for work. I installed the SP1c update for the T7 and from that point on I get this texture error when viewing from outside the plane! Does anyone have a solution for this small problem? Everythngelse works great when in the VC. PS. I do have the HIGHMEMFIX=1 in my FSX.cfg, also did the fix from the Operations Center and still get the error. Tried installing a new livery and got the same results.

Howdy. After 20-ish long haul hours wih no flaw, the T7 seems to be bugging out. After the FMS is programmed, the exterior views become skeleton. All I see is pax windows and the engine fan. After I exit the current sim, I load up in a default a/c then back in the T7. My view is entirely black but the click spots are still there. I can switch views, but they're all black. Never had this issue before. Anyone know? I do have highmemfix as well as the automation core installed per the manual. Thanks

Hi everyone, Just looking at the POS REF page on my way down to TBPB and noticed that the deviation on the INERTIAL section is 6.5NM. (I presume the number after "ACTUAL" is deviation - or is it? Can't find this info in the FCOM). I wondered what kind of acceptable tolerance there would be in real world flying? The ANP is showing 0.06NM. What is the maximum tolerance?

Very very weird and it's only happening with one of my add on liveries. I downloaded the VP-CAL livery and it loads using the manager like all the other ones. I'm very puzzled because in this paint and this paint only, my APU seems to be broken. Failures are all off. The APU is stuck at 100 no matter if it's on or not, and when you discon the ground power the plane powers down to battery as if it has no APU. Anybody confirm this issue with their copy of VP-CAL?
