PMDG 777

I was hoping someone could help me figure this out. I'm flying the 77L for "extended" pattern work. I'm using a freighter model empty with light fuel, so rather light. As a result, I'm using TO2/CLB2 with assumed temps of ~60 (using TOPCAT, real world weather at KCLT). During my climb to 1,500 I'm loosing the CLB2 and the thrust limit goes the CLB, then GA. With such a light aircraft, I'm almost always busting my planned initial altitude of 5,000'. This seems to happen with AP on or off and using either VNAV or FLCH for the FD vertical mode. I made this update via the Operationscenter, ran without errors. Now my 777is no function no work a VC operation more possible. Also I have on my 777 no chassis more and sound is also missing Also uninstall and reinstall not help. Simconnect work but perfect that can not be the problem. Property my last backup works my 777 without problems. My version is 1.10.8333.0 after the backup is the version 1.10.8363.0. Have a ticket in the support open times , see what happened so I can not use the new version. Best Torsten

Hopefully I'm in the right place. If I'm not, my sincerest apologies and if an admin/moderator could move the thread to the right place that would be very appreciated. So I was looking online and I could not find any up to date EVA Airways liveries (excluding the hello kitty liveries...) for the 777-300ER. PMDG does have an official livery for EVA Air but it is outdated. The airline has since taken on a new livery scheme for their triple 7s and future 787s. Just wondering if anyone has noticed any odd autothrottle issues such as uncommanded thrust increase, speed decay below vref on final and then the autothrottle over compensating by 20 to 30kts over vref? This was in the 300ER. Have installed the newest version today into P3D v3. 4 (not quite ready for v4) and started noticing this behavior which I've never seen before. I also noticed that on takeoff, the right MLG gave me a "brake temp" advisory and saw that brake temps were 4.0+. If I am on approach or after autoland and I turn off the autopilot, the master caution goes off and wont stop even after attempting silence the master caution. only way to shut it up is to turn autopilot on again. What am I doing wrong?

I have a Problem with the PMDG 777-300 in Prepar 3d V4. The Weather Radar knobs are not moving. Weather Radar works but the knobs do not rotary. It works complete in the 200LR

Hi, My 777-300ER has disappeared for P3D V3 all of a sudden. I can't seem to be able to get it activated again - it doesn't appear in P3D, or in the livery manager or anything like that. The version screen says I have 1.10.7025 installed Any ideas? Thanks, Daniel Baker

Hi guys - I'm using P3Dv4 with the latest hotfix and the recent PMDG 777 download but just noticed that if I choose 'Default' panel state (which was always an engine running state) the aircraft completely shuts down. It loses all power, etc and the dome light comes on along with the siren. I was just wondering if anyone else is having this issue?? Thanks for any help!

FYI, when the Aerosoft OV-10 for P3D V4 is installed on my P3D V4 system, it interferes with the the PMDG 777x and 747 QOTS II for P3D V4. When I tried to use the 777X or 747, they would not initialize and all cockpit controls were dead. Disabling the OV-10 add-on seems o fix the problem, but I just deleted the OV-10. This was surprising thing for me was that the P3D V3 version worked fine for me in P3D V4, the problem only occurred when I upgraded to the P3D V4 version.

Hey guys! I have been having audio troubles with the pmdg 777 like when i plug my headphone in the front audio jack, no audio comes from the 777 however if i change to another sound output ( i.e The monitor's audio) then the audio works. Moreover with fs2crew no audio with the headphones connected to the front audio jack, even if i change audio device choice in the config , but if i connect my headphones to my monitors audio jack then both the sounds of the 777 and fs2crew work fine! I just installed the PMDG 777 into Prepar3D v4 today, using the latest installers as available on my download page (under previous orders). From the Welcome Screen I select the PMDG 777 and click Ok. Initially Prepar3D closed right after asking for the activation code. Then after a few attempts it closed without asking for the activation code, before showing the progress bar though. After a few more attempts, it started asking for the activation code on each launch again, but this time the progress bar showed up and the aircraft loaded. But after loading almost none of the click-spots in the VC works, and it is cold and dark. The application log…

I installed the latest Update and now FSX:SE is crashing after every exit if flying with PMDG 777 200LR or 300ER. The system event log mentioned PMDG_777X_2.dll as the cause.

According to the Information in the Operation Center have downloaded the latest FSX-Installer for the 777-200 and 747-400QOTSII. Got Feature Transfer error on Repair-Installation of both: Component: Ops Center File: <FOLDER_SIM2>\ Error: The filename, Directory Name , or volume Label synatx is incorrect. Hi All, Anyone else with a problem with FS2Crew for the PMDG 777 after the latest PMDG 777 update? Am running FSX Accel., Win 7 64 bit. I went over to the FS2Crew forum and one other person has the issue reported, but re-installed FS2Crew and everything was OK. For me the re-install of FS2Crew did not help. Re-enabled FS2Crew after the install, set up the same keyboard shortcut as before (Key "x") to the main control panel in FSX but FS2Crew panel refuses to launch. There's no other config to be done as far as I recall, correct? Nothing in the FMC/PMDG Setup options to start the app? Regards Mark

Hi, I am currently flying the T7 in FSX without any problems. I gathered from the forum here that there is a new update out (1.10.8383.0) which gives some users some trouble. Now, I am wondering if I should install this update or not. I would not want to ruin my currently perfectly working setup. Could someone kindly tell me what the key changes were in this T7 update, or point me to the changelog? Thank you

Where is the update to put the 777 into v4. I can't seem to find it. I uninstalled it first, but when I tried to install it again it wouldn't let me install to v4.

Just got the updated installers and reinstalled both 747 and 777 into v4. OC alerting me about 75 folders that are orphaned with no FIX to reattach the textures to the airplanes. Is there a way to reuse the textures, or do I have to delete all and redo all of them from scratch? Thanks, Michel.

The title says it all. The autothrust while manually flying is extremely slow to react and routinely gets me into the yellow tape. I can literally fall 10 knots below command speed and only then will AT react, but with ever so slight thust increases. I will be literally hitting 130 knots when command is 142, and the 777 will react with a mere 45% N1 response which will slow down the deceleration, but never get me to my command speed. This happens without turbulence as well (forget choppy weather as the thing will literally let me stall). Here are some photos to show what I mean. It makes manually flying the 777 with AT on a nearly impossible task.

I did a successful flight yesterday with the 777-300; I have been using the 777-200-300 for over a year now, with no issues. After the flight was over, I got the notice for the Push Update on the Ops Center, which installed just fine. Today, I go to load up a flight, again with the 777-300, and I get this error message: Your PMDG 777-200LR/F Base Package is not activated yet. Please select and activate a PMDG 777-200LR/F variant and continue" (this while trying to load the AAL variant of the 777-30ER. Not a showstopper, but since I found this I thought I'd post a comment on it to see if anyone else can confirm, out of curiosity. While setting up the T7 (version 1.10.8363) in P3Dv4, I altered the position entries for CDU left and right in the panel.cfg file. However it seems (on my system at least!) that whatever value position entry I insert for the left CDU (SHIFT+2), the panel refuses to move from the bottom right of the screen. The right CDU (SHIFT+3) responds to different position entries as expected. This happens ONLY on the 200LR. The 777F and the 747 are perfectly OK. Is it a bug? Can anyone else confirm?
