PMDG 777

Hi there everyone sorry if this problem has already been posted, due to the fact my pc was out of action for three years with blue screen crashes , at last I have updated my motherboard and have a stable system to load FSX again , howver I have installed the pmdg 777 and it no longer displays an activation window. please could anybody assist ...thankyou in advance

Cannot get my 777 to work with FsiPanel after The Jul. 1st update to the 777 FSX SE. Have reloaded the new a/c into FsiPanel and deleted the old but no luck. Anybody else had this problem?

Just purchased 772 and 773 last night, and I was looking to change the current state of the plane when I started from default to cold and dark. I went into FMC and chose the option for coldndrk panel state, and as soon as I did that the plane begins bouncing up and down... forever. I moved plane to a new airport, etc. and nothign would stop it. Selecting a new plane will reset this and revert the system back to default state. The only issues I have observed on forums with others describing similar bouncing issues were related to mesh size (or at least the recommended solutions were about adjusting mesh size at least).. Hey guys, I just downloaded the new installer for the 773 and when I install it I get : Installation cannot continue, your registry does not show a valid Prepar3d installation location. I had no issues with installing the 772. my p3d installation is on J: win 10 pro p3d v4 anyone have a solution for this ?

Hello PMDG, P3D v4 is at version '4.0.28.21686' and has been working as expected. Here's what I did if memory serves (starting with the P3D v4 install), uninstalled everything on my system related to P3D including all scenery and airplanes. Used Add/Remove programs utility when possible or original installers to remove files and manually cleaned up files that weren't removed then ran registry cleaner and rebooted. Next, started installing everything I could find from developers that had compatible updates including a couple planes from A2A, the T7, some scenery regions from ORBX and a few airports from FlyTampa, Flightbeam, and FSDT. Perhaps a simple question (I tried the search function first looking for "paint" but did not find the answer). I'm a long time user of PMDG aircraft with FSX. Now I'm starting to use P3D for the first time (v4) and I bought the PMDG 777. The AVSIM library has hundreds of wonderful aircraft repaints for the PMDG aircraft but almost all of them seem to be in the FSX category. My question is are these repaints equally compatible with the same PMDG aircraft in P3D v4? I don't want to taint my P3D v4 installation or the PMDG aircraft. Thank you, Jason Boche

I'm playing around with planning my own route using SkyVector and comparing it to what PFPX outputs. I managed to fly from Berlin to Milan the only problem was that I was above Milan airport at 41,000 ft. Am I the one who's supposed to input a Top of Descent point or did I do something else wrong?

Hi, First of all thank you for the continuous updates on your products. I installed the newest version of 777-200LR and 300ER into P3D V4 (yes, I waited for the long post from Robert to follow exactly the instructions, uninstall and then install) and did a flight test. Everything seems normal except the Autobrake button. Before the update, after lift off it doesn't go back to OFF, now it works, however there was a continuous clicky sound from that button. I had to click it to make the sound stop. During the approach earlier today I set the autobrake to 2. Hello all, I am using FSX:SE with DX10 and with Steve's DX10 fixer. I believe i have got all the settings as per instructed in the Manuel, However when i view the aircraft from an outside spot view it seems where the the control surfaces join onto the wing it appears jagged, I know things like this are down to anti analising settings but i think i've got them maxed and all set how i was told to with the instructions. Does anyone know of something i might be missing when using the DX10 Fixer? It's a bit off putting, The rest of the aircraft appears very smooth with no problems, It's just around the ailerons and elevators etc..

I just upgraded the 777 software for FSX. My original attempt to upgrade did not work (I used "repair" to upgrade the software). Since that didn't work, I deleted the software using the PMDG software I downloaded. I then reinstalled the 777. That worked, but when I loaded the 777 into FSX, the click spots on the panel did not work. My input from my yoke and throttles did work as expected. I am running FSX under Windows 10. Any suggestions?

Hello everyone, I just did a flight from Vancouver to Toronto using the 777-300 and I believe there's an issue with the terrain radar because the terrain isn't displayed properly on the ND. Can anyone try this and confirm? i'm using p3d v4 by the way. Ali Hoteit

I am currently using the 777F and attempting to practice pattern work. Up to and including yesterday I flew the pattern with absolutely no issues. Then i decided to stream the pattern work. During the show, everything still worked except for TOGA on the subsequent landings. It works great for the initial takeoff. I am using proper procedure, which is: Joystick Throttle Full Press TOGA screw on MCP That's literally all that is needed. Autothrottle is indeed on, and thus as long as the physical throttle is full and I press TOGA, it's supposed to TOGA no matter what. Yet it is not doing so. My first flight today I set my panel state at CLDDRK. I also saved it to 777 CLDDRK. Second flight I again hit the 777 CLDDRK (since it had not saved that state), hit execute, and nothing happened. I cannot get back to a cold and dark start. Suggestions?

Hello there, I have a problem loading my PMDG 777 300 and 200. Whenever I select the aircraft on P3D its fine and it loads, the bar climbs to 100%, then there is a black screen, then I see my desktop. I would appreciate it if someone could help me. All the best, Adam Quinn

Hi all, Could someone please clear the air on how the PMDG service based failures work? Does the flight time accumulated on an airframe get carried forward even if you don't save the flight? (like starting a fresh flight from the fsx menu)

I am having problems with the P3d V4 777. I continually get rocking (slight up pitch and then down pitch) while flying with AP on VNAV and LNAV at 31000. This is the 4th flight same thing. Can anyone help me that has experienced this. I noticed that happened in 2013 a lot. I can't find anything on this in the forum. I do appreciate the help. Update: Bounces between 30000 and 32000 can stay at Alt set of 31000. Tried to unplug joysticks still continued to rock, No weather loaded, No trim axis assigned to joysticks. Mark T. Masterson

I am using the latest version of Active Sky 2016 for P3Dv4 it is generating weather (clouds, rain, etc) but I do not know why the weather radar of my PMDG 777-200 (latest version just uploaded) is not showing up. I running on Win10 platform. Could someone give some clue how to deal with this issue? Regards Reynaldo

I just do not understand sorry if i sound angry but im waiting for a long time now for the new installers of the 777-2-3 after PMDG seid that it will take a few days and still same version for v3 when is the aerosoft installers coming?? im starting to think that it was better to buy diractly from PMDG website and not from aerosoft.. thanks Eytan

Hi there I have just completed first 777 flight upon landing to Malaga i noted that ILS was Parked despite i had a ROute programmed in FMC... no one knows why this can happen ? 2nd I landed with manual landing with Autobrakes set to " 4 " .. everything seemed right during initial touchdown but when i reached 80 knots pressed brakes manually to disarm autobrake . Despite this, autobrakes didn't disarm and stopped aircraft mid runway with "Parking Brakes Set " Sign on !! I couldn't disarm parking brakes with "CTRL + . " i had to enter FMC Maintenance menu and change the brakes to move the 777 to the gate seams that i burned my carbon disks.. but…

After removing the old files and getting new ones from PMDG, I updated the 200 with no issue. Then I did the same for the 300 and it is gone. In ops center, I can't get any liveries, and it is no longer available in the FSX menu. I tried the install again to no avail. Please help, that is my go to aircraft. Scott
