PMDG 777

Hi, I messing around with the color options in the 777. How can I return it to the original colors at purchase time? Also the cockpit lighting when you use shift L makes the cockpit to gold or a bad yellow. Any suggestion would be great Thanks, Tom D

With AIRAC 1710 + EDDF payware scenery, I noticed there's appr option call GLSX07L and many like this. I select that and turn on APP button, but it doesn't be localized. I searched the forum, it seems PMDG's all product(737/747/777) doesn't implement GLS capability. So why there are GLS options, just because of AIRAC updates?

I've just downloaded the full installer as per RSR's post in the General Section of the forum but on completion of the installation the Ops centre shows the installed version is 1.10.8333 and the available version is 1.10.8378. I'm confused! Has the wrong version been made available for download or is there a new one already - some 30 mins later?

The climb performance (vertical speed) is very bad on you Prepar v4 for the 777. It was impossible for me to reach FL 430 from BIKF-RJAA The stall warning was constantly on. This needs to be fixed by you´re coders! Thank you

Hello, after I installed the 777, I started it up and loaded the Cold & Dark state. Then all displays went dark and stayed dark even after ext power / APU was present. I then exited the Sim and I got the first message that P3D stopped working. The problem spread to all other a/c, default and payware (AS320, QOTSII). Everytime I start a scenario, when reaching 100% on the loading screen P3D crashes, first the .NET Runtime Frameworks, the P3D itself. I run Windows 10 and have P3D on a seperate SSD and installed the 777 as admin. I tried reinstalling the 777 and also the P3D client, but nothing changed.See below the error from the event viewer: …

I have two problems with the weather radar, but I couldn't find it is malfunction or normal. 1. Range The weather radar doesn't show any information outside of 80nm perimeter. But I know the real 777's weather radar is more capable than that. Is it normal in pmdg 777's implementation? 2. Response time(Delay in between each sweep time) Previously I asked about it, but somehow that topic was removed. I uploaded this video back then. Hello all! First of all, my sim is running,I could solve my problem already. I just want to let you all know about this problem (some might have). I updated my 777, when the update came out. Since that day i tried 5 flights with the 777, and all ended up after about 60-90 min with a CTD, the faulting dll was the ai_player.dll I was looking for the problem a few days now, tried removing my ai traffic, tried reinstalling the P3D Client, tried reinstalling the 777 (with the 12SEP update) and and and... Hi All, I am having some issues with my flight plans. I create them using PFPX and successfully upload them to the FMC and successfully fly almost the entire route to the end. On the legs page, all way points are there. However, every time, I get an FMC end of route error and the route ends on my display map. I'm fairly novice at this so if I missed something in the manual or this is an error with a STAR, please point me in the right direction. Thank you! Seth

Hi, After flying several flights with the PMDG B777-200 LR, I have noticed that if I don't have yet selected a STAR when reaching T/D, I am unable to do so afterwards because it results in an Invalid Entry message on the FMC. There is also no speed/altitude prediction displayed on the LEGS page for any FIX remaining past the T/D (true in both P3Dv3 and P3Dv4, on both B777 v1.10.8333.0 and v1.10.8363.0). In the NGX with P3Dv3 (Patiently awaiting the NGX 64-bit version), I can fly past the T/D and even fly past the last FIX on the route (no STAR pre-selected and flying on HDG mode once past the last FIX), and still be able to select a STAR, set the next waypoint a…

Hi, For some reason when I turn my autobrakes on any setting (RTO, 1, 2, 3, MAX) nothing happens upon touchdown. When I touchdown I go to idle, apply speedbrakes, and reverse thrusters as normal. I know the brakes aren't working because I don't get the red BRAKES notification in the bottom left hand corner. If I apply brakes manually I get the red brakes notification. Help!? I dont have any rudder pedals, and I am using a logitech joystick.

Hi, I am thinking of getting the Cs 777 but I already have the PMDG 777 my question is what one is better.

I regulalrly update my Navigraph Airac files. The latest (1709) makes a total nonsense of the stars for the 777 Tutorial. Is there a way of reverting to the airac that was installed with the 777 so that the STAR is the same as the tutorial? Tried reinstalling 777, no change. Regards Richard Myers

In the 747v3, if I set a flex temp that's too high I get a message saying that my v speeds are invalid. This is good because it tells me I won't clear the runway with the weights I added into the MCDU. But i I don't think the 777-300ER has this feature right? Because I can set 99 degrees and it still calculates v speeds even though I'm at 322 metric tons.

Fedex experts in here? My unofficial config please help me make this better. And if you know other info like recommended takeoff flaps, an average CI used, would be good.

What are your favorite routes to fly in the 777? I need ideas. Also, what are some short routes (around 2-4 hours) as I would like to fly this plane short haul as well as long haul. Thanks

Folks, I just did a clean install of my computer with a W10 and FSX:SE. I installed PMDG 737 Base and also 737-600/700, and worked well. When I was tried to instal the PMDG 777 Base, I got a DLL.XML error saying that the file was missing, but I did check and the file exists and have my add-ons (ASN and VAInterface) registred. I also tried to clean the file (use a default one) but the error still occurs. Any directions? Thanks! ERROR: DLL.XML File Missing for FSX and we wer unable to create one for you. Please correct your FSX installation and try again.

I've noticed that some of your products come with an optimization manager to help with performance, is there one for the 777 and if not are there any plans for one? And before anybody scolds me yes I did do a search first and found nothing on this. Thanks. Richard Smith.

Hi, I've recently upgraded to P3D v4. The following problem occurs when you resume a saved flight: The aircraft gets confused with its weight and fuel. For instance, I flew from UUEE to UWGG today. At some point during descent, my ATC program crashed, so I resumed the flight which was automatically saved 2 minutes ago. After that the aircraft is suddenly close to its max weight, while the displays show contradictory information: On the third CDU, where I make the FS Actions inputs, it says that I have about 74000kg of fuel loaded, in the line below, this is indicated as 100%. I have had this problem for months and have tried everything I can think of plus other recommendations. My 777 Ver 300 won't load correctly. When I load it the aircraft is dead and dark plus the gear is not down. The plane is suspended above the runway . My other versions of 777 work fine. The problem seems to be isolated to the 777 300. Does anyone have a possible fix for me?
