PMDG 777

777 is NOT cld & drk but C+E will not start engines

Hi, I searched the key commands section today and found almost everything, but there seems to be no possiblity to attach a key command to the windscreen wipers. Did I miss it out, or is there none? I think that would be nice.

Prepar3d v4 PMDG 777-200LR/F Tutorial 1: VRMM to OMDB IFR FL380 I enter VRMM/Rwy 18 and OMDB into Prepar3D flight planner. Set the day / time I enter the flight plan into the Captain's CDU of the FMC, just as described in the tutorial. Then I activate it. Then I execute. Then I save the scenario. I have P3D-ATC selected, but the only option it gives me is ground. No IFR clearance. Sub-menus are VFR choices only. I do not have this problem when flying the Carenado 525 or Phenom 100, but I also only used the P3D flight planner also.. Hello, I have the latest airac installed from navigraph which shows up fine in the FMC on the first page, but when I type in any ICAO on the pos init page it says 'not in database'. Ive tried various icao codes including EGLL and it still says not in database. Whats confusing is that I'm using the pmdg 737 and the fmc works fine with the installed navdata. I thought both aircraft read the navdata from the navdata folder within the PMDG folder. I'm confused! Sorry about posting lots of topic at once, but I finally just bought simulator and this product and there's info that can't be found yet by searching. By searching some forums, I could gather a little info about realism settings and there's a recommended setting in the introductory manual. But the option "Enable gyro drift" is somewhat unclear and the manual also doesn't say about it. I know about basic theory about it and this product is also affected by this(it looks like to me). But I'm not sure about whether I check this option. There are some mentions in web but they are all different opinions.

Please! Some one tell me that this aircraft has 2d panel. If NOT then I will not buy. Some people just can't stand a 3d VC on their desktop. I suppose that the reason to desolve 2d is because every one is buying VR kits? I don't think so. Its just that some people enjoy working with a 2d panel.

The Tutorial doesn't address this (I don't think). But what would I need to do to manually land the 777? Obviously I need to turn off auto-pilot. Anything else to change or keep in mind?

Hello community. Can anyone explain me how to find out wether I have SP1 installed or not? How to find out my B777 version? If I need to install it, how can I download this SP1 patch? If I go to PMDG and log in than I select DOWNLOADS/SERVICE UPDATE .. it tells me to "Log in to your eCommerce account" .. what's that? I am logged in in PMDS website.. isn't that enough? I am stuck in a loop where if I go to DOWNLOAD/SERVICE UPDATE and click on "click here to log in" it trows me back to my account menu .. I can't manage to get to a place where I can download this SP1. I don't even know if I need it and my own version number .. Any idea? Thanks Stefano…

I flew my first T7 flight yesterday since the release of the 747. I have not had any desire to fly anything but the 747! I must say that the age is showing, and that's good! I mean it shows how far PMDG has come since their earlier release! What was most noticable to me, was the sound and the auto flight handling of the routes. Many SID turns were not done properly by the LNAV system, something I had been frustrated with in the NGX before the T7. The 747 stand flawless in this regard! I hope PMDG will make a V2 of their amazing T7 and perhaps include the entire family? :)

Hi I usally practice landing by save when approaching, and scenario reset.(since P3D V3) but PMDG 777 for P3D V4 has some problem - refer this movie : After scenario reset, Left and Right fuel tank sets 100% and can't adjust both P3D Fuel menu and FMC menu I don't know this problem caused P3D V4 or PMDG 777. But It happen only B777 series.(I Have PMDG 747 V3, But this aircraft is OK.) Please advise to solve this problem thank you

Anyone having issues with 1706 Navigraph with Prep V4 and the 777. I am flying from CYUL to CYVR and CYUL runways and sids show up fine but when I go to ARR CYVR it shows no STARS or Runways?? Thanks Darcy Coutts

Hi guys. Having a serious problem with my 777, the fuel load will on occation bug when ever I try and alter the fuel load. Today I wanted to reduce fuel load to 50% so I normally set it to 50% and select the lsk button next to the fuel percentage in the FMC and normally it works but recently it just reduces the fuel load to a minimal amount instead I:E 10.0 lbs in each tank despite the FMC still saying it's at 100%, also selecting the long range lsk to attempt to put fuel back it won't work atall. I used the search window but i've not been able to find anything that relates, any ideas? Richard Smith.

Bonjour, I have a problem at each take-off I have the overheating fault of the brakes and the bursting of the tires on the display,of course I do not roll with the brake of park on... I have this problem only with the 777. do you have an idea. Thanks

I am trying to setup the Thrust Limit in the CDU (777) for a flight from Ottawa to Memphis. When I put the number 58 for 58C and hit LSK 1L the number is displayed for a fraction of a second and then the entry becomes blank. But the D- to N1 value is display. If I go to the takeoff page and add the required info, the Thrust info is missing and I cannot get the Takeoff speeds to work. I must be doing something wrong? Or I am missing a piece of info. My favorite bird isn't working. I recently download FSUIPC to work with other addons I got for my sim, and since then, my 777 won't load into FSX multiplayer. I like to do group flights there and I would like to have it. My NGX works fine.

Following shutdown procedures, APU finished start up and shown it is ready on STAT/ELEC MFD. After that, when I shut down both engine, Light goes crazy for a few moment and F/O computer(FMC, displays) restarts, just like start up procedures. Why? P.S Speaking of light, when I turn off APU, all lights turns on, maximum bright, and some of them can't be turned off. My system is P3D v4 and active sky for p3dv4 + vpilot. Latest updates including this product.

Hi all, I am encountering the problem whereby after loading a save free flight of my 777-300ER in FSX:SE, the flight defaulted to Cold and Dark status. I am using FSX:SE and doing free flight with the 777-300ER. During the initial set up, I have set the start-up status to Cold and Dark and it has been doing fine. I was able to save my flight in the midst of flying, loaded and resumed the flight successfully. Recently, I encountered some issues with Windows 10 and did a re-format and re-install of all programs. Did my first flight with the 777 after re-formatting, everything ran fine. Hi. Has anyone experienced a brief sound pause on starting 1 of the 2 engines in v4? Seems to happen every time for me when engine reaches approx 34% N2,,,,never happened in v3 or FSX Dario

i would like to ask if it's planned to move more of the new functions that exist in the new PMDG 747-400 series to the 777, such as the shaking effects or the new, advanced ground operations including service vehicles? So that the 777 will match the functionality of the 747.

There is small white box on upper left corner of the screen. It's 2D window that cannot be removed(if removed, re-spawn instantly). Does this exist from the beginning of time, which just I didn't noticed? By the way, this is P3D v4, not FSX.

1. EPR+N1+EGT 2. ENG+AIR+FUEL Information I never see EPR+N1+EGT configuration on EICAS in PMDG 777. I can manage to configure like the second one, but only when EICAS presents in INBOARD display(MFD). Can either of this be forced to show on normal(default) state in EICAS display?

Is there a chart somewhere on which flap setting to use for both takeoff and landing?
