PMDG 777

For FSX. Since the recent updates I don't believe the compact engine display on the EICAS will work. It use to be INBOARD DSPL switch to EICAS, press L INBD and ENG button located on the DSP, and switch INBOARD DSPLY to NAV. Can someone confirm this please. If there is a new sequence, can someone detail it please.

Hi! My p-brake in my 777 does not work. I use Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog. The p-brake falls back to release position even when use the mouse in VC. any suggestions? //Wennerholm Sweden

Hi I seem to have an issue with the Dynamic Lighting in my 777, Firstly I know its a FPS killer and my system (i5 3570K OC 4.2ghz, GTX1050ti GPU,8GB RAM) really cant handle it and reduces my FPS from a steady locked 30 to single figures. I have switched DL off in the sim which is a huge disappointment as I now have no Taxi lights or RWY Turn Off Light and totally ruins the immersion of flying at night. Now the DL is switched off in the Sim all ok with FPS but when I turn on any Taxi lights, RWY Turn Off Lights etc within the 777 cockpit, I'm still experiencing a huge drop in FPS and not even getting any Lighting on the ground. I´d like to understand the new dinamics at instalation of updates in prepar3dv4. Operations Center sent a message that new updates for 7772 and 7773 are available and asked me if I want to install it. I said ok and just a message showed up telling me that I´ve have to make a full install. I downloaded the full installer, but when I try to install it showed me three options: a) modify b) repair c) remove. should I remove the former version and reinstall the new one? I updated my Navigraph files in both PMDG and AS16. I planned my route via SimBrief, using the updated data. Setting up the flightplan in the T7 FMS, I get an error stating "KORD ERR: 10 RWY NA" and I have NO SIDS/STARS showing for KORD in the FMS. Any ideas? Thanks. Dave Robinette NBL1936

I own Cd version of PMDG 777 and downloaded version V1.10.8386 from aerosoft site. AS many users have mentioned, I have problem with autobrake which causes ticking noise. I know that there is updated version but it is still not available on aerosoft site. My main problem is that FSX crashes soon after i load flight. It just stops working. It happens at random time frame. sometimes after 10 minutes or 15 minutes after the start. After update, i havent been able to complete even one flight. I tried with various airports but the problem remains same. I never had this problem before update. Any solution? Best wishes Ash

Hi, Maybe this is already a known issues or can be investigated. Upon loading 777 P3D v4, fuel quantity 2 last digits keep changing in FMC. Manual figures input resolve the issue. Thanks. David Milate

Hi! I have downloaded and installed the latest update of 747 and 777-200/300ER. However, there is an issue of 777-200/300 which is associated with Autobrake. When I take off, there is a continuous "click" sound after lifting off. It exists until gear up. I think it's the sound of RTO reverting back to Off. And, while landing, when gear is down, the click sound appears again and my Autobrake setting revert back to Off by itself (from my setting of the autobrake, eg. autobrake 3) No only is the click sound annoying but also I cannot use autobrake at all. The sound persists until I touch down and set autobrake to RTO again! I have tried to …

I should have posted earlier... The 5.1 sound installer wasnt working in the earlier releases of the 777 for V4. Raised a ticket. Got a response saying it would be fixed when a new installer is released. New installer released. Fixed. oh and no Microsoft, for the 47th time I do not want the Bing bar, I would not like it on a boat, I would not like it with a goat... Thanks PMDG

Hi, I am having an issue where I have been unable to download some liveries (especially if I have never downloaded them before) using the Livery Downloader. I have olny tried this with the 777 (P3dv4). I uninstalled al my PMDG products and installed with latest installers and still cannot. download liveries. I thought I might try removing everything PMDG and install from scratch but that seems to have made thing worse. Now I cannot download any liveries at all using the Ops Center. I am having an issue with the most recent versions for P3DV4. I am currently using the 1.10.8386 version for both the 777-200LRF and 777-300ER. The aircraft loads and functions normally through set up, taxi and take off. After I retract the gear, I get an error message saying the the tire pressure and brakes have overheated. I have insured that I taxied without using the toe brakes at all. There was no message during the take off run. After some minutes the brake temp warning goes out but the tire pressure message remains. Upon landing the aircraft acts as if maximum auto brake was selected whether I am using auto brake or not. Hi,, I don't know if its just me, But the wings on my 777 look very white. After years of flying on them i imagined they were a slight silver in colour. It does seem to vary in FSX:SE through the times of the day, Maybe its reflection causing it?

Just wanted to know if RAAS is working with P3dv4. Everything else works fine with my installation.

I'm having an issue in P3D v4 with the 777 where the landing lights are not illuminating the ground with Dynamic lighting turned off. I have no issues with Dynamic lighting on but my frames are not high enough to have DL turned on. Is anyone else noticing this issue? Any solutions? Thought I'd try here first before opening a ticket. Sean

Dear Developers, Is there any chance of including the Turbulence and Head Shacking effects included in the 747 for the 777 (And 737 as well). Also I have issues with the VLS of my 777 as well as with the 747 in P3D V4, seems too low for the actual weight of the aircraft, around 100 knots vs 145 Vapp at around 50% Payload and 50% Fuel. Hello, I updated to the new 777 and 747 last night. I first removed them both from Control Panel>Programs and Features and then installed the new downloads. I run FSX-Acceleration. The 747 works just fine. However the 777 now will not let me use the 777-300 expansion. I downloaded the expansion and it put the 777-300 files in the FSX>Simobjects>Airplanes file, but when I start FSX it only shows the 777-200. When I open the PMDG Operations Center and select 777 for FSX, and then select the expansion it says: "Please note: You have installed a version of this PMDG product in FSX:SE, which means you can also run this software in FSX by installing t…

Hi Guys, I've just uninstalled and reinstalled all my PMDG products (737, 777, 777-300 Expansion), everything went fine for the 737 and 777 but now I'm facing a strange issue with the 777-300: the installation completed without any error message or warning, but neither in FSX:SE aircraft list and in PMDG OC I can see the 773. In the "Programs and Features" window I can see "PMDG 777-300ER Expansion FSX" installed. In OC when I select "PMDG 777 - FSX:SE" in the livery manager I can only see "PMDG 777-200LR" and "PMDG 777F" In FSX:SE I can see the PMDG 777-200LR and the PMDG 777F but not the 300-ER Any suggestion on how to fix it? Hello everyone, As most of you will know, after taking off in the 777, the autobrake knob will spring back to the OFF position (if RTO was set beforehand). In the Prepar3D v4 version, after taking off, the autobrake knob's noise plays and the plane registers that the autobrake is in the off position; however, the visual model is still suck in the RTO position. Right clicking the knob while it's still stuck in the RTO position will mobe it to the DISARM position, as if it were in the OFF position.
