PMDG 777

Dear PMDG, I cannot start P3D with the PMDG 777 after installing the hotfix. I can get into game when using other aircraft. Only when I load the PMDG, the screen stays black for a short while and CTD occurs. This doesn't happen before the installation of hotfix. Here is the crash log for your information. Am I correct in thinking that the 777 will be updated for FSX soon after the issues with the 777-300 for P3D V4 are worked out? Thanks, Mike

I just upgraded to an M.2 SSD and did a fresh windows install. Installed P3d and various add ons including PMDG 747 and PMDG 772. Now, the 77W expansion pack is giving me this error shown in the title. What gives? the 747 and 772 installed and function fine.

I have a new installation of the PMDG 777-200 on P3D v4 (no Hotfix 1 yet). I fly on VATSIM so in the FMC I have the PMDG aircraft audio going to my desktop speakers, and only vPilot audio goes to my headset. The first few flights were wonderful using the Delta livery. This morning I started a flight using the Aeroflot livery and upon taxi and takeoff, I couldn't hear the engines spooling up but I heard plenty of other aircraft noise coming from my external speakers (things rattling, tires thumping over the gaps in the concrete, etc.) I put on my headset and sure enough the engine noise was being split to the headset. Brand new purchase and fresh install of P3Dv4, as well as a re-download of the 777-200LR/F package (had trouble getting it off the server). My P3D is installed in a custom folder, and the error message I get when I try to install the 777 is this: "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid Preapar3D(tm) installation location." Any ideas on this? Sacha Djordjevic

ok , always using External power to power up the plane. I also attach the Air Start Unit and Air Conditioning unit. honestly I am not very familiar with the air start and air conditioning? but is it better to use them for packs ? what does air start unit help in the startup and the air conditioning? thank you

ILS in park position during Ils approach. How can I solve it?

Spent a while last night brushing up on my cold and dark starts last night, I went to practice some more tonight and every time i tried to load cold and dark from left CDU it triggered crash detection, It only worked twice so far tonight, once was when i tried it on the runway at the default P3D Runway and a heavy gate at Barcelona LEBL . It crashed at KMCO. KJFK, and EIDW My 777 1.10.8363 is up to date and running V4 P3D. Anyone got any ideas, is it a known problem? i searched here for a while before posting but could only find FMC/CTD problems this is not a CDT problem BTW KMCO is where i was using last night without incident.

Hey guys, running P3Dv4 and im not sure if it's user (prob is lel) however on final I'm never able to switch AutoPilot off once established on ILS. I don't use key commands I push but the auto pilot button twice and more and still doesn't come off. Not until the plane auto lands does it switch itself off. I'm confused on what I'm doing incorrectly. Anyone able to please help. Regards, Kyle Wilford

Hey guys, im getting some issues ive never had since updating. First one FMC says nav data is out of date current is 1706 installed and its correct. secondly the LNAV tracking (pink single lines tech terms lol) is shacking and going all over the place. and lastly the brakes keep switching off after you switch them on. In Prepar3d v4.I have Saitek rudder pedals. All work fine until after landing and trying to taxi, they are hard to control and seem to not want to turn the aircraft. I have to fight with them and speed and can eventually turn. Never had this happen in FSX. Any ideas? Darcy Coutts

Hi, I ran the Operations Center, but I'm not sure that my 777 was updated. At least I never received a notification that it was. The version info says version 1.10.8333 is installed. Is this the latest version? I'm wondering, because in the change log it says version 1.10.8333 was released 10JAN17??? Thanks!

After a few hours of flight the B777 crashes me to desktop, if I try to open the zoom pop-up of the PFD. (Klicking into it) On the beginning of the flight everything works fine. But this happens after a few hours of flight. All other zoom pop-ups work properly by this time. (a few seconds of waiting between trying each screen). This happens independant of other add-ons and reinstalling does not help. Happens on both P3D versions (v3 and v4). I recorded it by luck (was recording something different when it happened again). Good morning, I just flew the 777 for the first time in P3D v4 and noticed a significantly increased ground friction (in FlyTampa Dubai). Without (constant) significant thrust (N1 >28%) the plane would stop taxiing after a short while (within 10-15 seconds). I'm not sure if I have done something wrong or if this is an intentional change (I'm not flying a T7 in real life, so couldn't tell :D). Thanks for any insight. Jan

Hello, First of all thanks PMDG for this beautiful aircraft. My question today, is How to open the Main Cargo Door 777F. In FS Action on CDU the command for this door doesn't work..no action. (I have electric power.) OK with the key commands option I have programmed Shift T for this command. Thanks for info.

First I thought it was my addon scenery causing significant drop in framerates until I realized that it was only from inside the VC cockpit I have the problem. In FSX there is a facility to check if you want "High-resolution 3-D virtual cockpit", or not, which I always deselect with brilliant textures anyway and acceptable framerates. In P3D4 there isn't any facility like that. Any suggestions to get around this?

I wanted to ask you a question. I have a fault in my pmdg 777-200, when I finish a flight and I want to do the next one, I'm going to refuel and suddenly I get 255% fuel, in FMC the level does not work, I put 35% for example and it appears 100%, I can not adjust the amount of fuel I want to refuel. Hello, with P3D v4 I noticed some texturing issues. You can clearly recognize, that the fan case has some issues with shadows (ultra setting), and that the inner part of the engine case has no reflections. Comparison P3D v4 + v3: v4: v3: I hope we will see an update soon. Alex

I have a problem with my 777 V4 the AP keeps disconnecting.... I am running the latest v of FSUPIC and have calibrated joystick (Saitek yoke) Any suggestions.. Andrew

Could someone please remind me where the knob is that controls the green panel lightning for the pedestal and the MCP before I lose my mind? Hi guys, I have the 777 downloaded and waiting to be installed to P3D V4, but of course she won't be compatible for a few days or weeks yet. Can anyone tell me is there anyway I can access the 777 manuals from the download prior to installation. I'm aware they should be in the operations centre, but I'm assuming that I can't install that until the 777 is compatible with V4. im trying to get the manuals on PDF to put on my IPad, so I can start some homework and try and teach myself how to use this bugger again. Hi there, I have bought the 777 off the aerosoft website before it came out for p3d v4 and pmdg say that the 777 for p3d v4 is now out and i know that due to youtube videos, but when i try to download it off the aerosoft website it is still the older version of the 777.
