PMDG 777

The last few entries on my FMC Legs page are as follows... CI26L 240/2000 FI26L 170/2000 RW26L 170/253 Having armed the LOC it is captured but I can't then capture the G/S. Plane just overflies airport or goes into a series of circles at 2000feet What am I doing wrong or not doing? Richard Myers 85 yr old Noob !

I'm trying to figure out why the backup gens. don't come on if both IDG's are disconnected and the APU is off. Anybody have an answer for this? The research I've done indicates that with both IDG's disconnected and the APU off the backup gens. SHOULD come on. I must be missing something here. Thanks.

So a couple days ago my PMDG 777 started acting up. I've recently sent my rudder pedals away to be repaired so, for now, I'm using the auto rudder. The tiller is constantly trying to move the aircraft to the left leaving me to combat it with the auto rudder. I've left the video showing what happens down below the time stamp is 37:15. Any Ideas

Hello, I have just purchased PMDG 777 for P3D after using it in FSX:SE for several months. However I can not get it to start in my P3D. I already followed the instructions here ( http://support.precisionmanuals.com/kb/a112/important-and-nearly-foolproof-steps-to-running-your-pmdg-product-in-prepar3d-v3.aspx ). Choose PMDG 777 direct from the menu, installed all the simconnect again... By using Process Monitor I found out that my simulator stuck at loading 777X_debug_log.txt and it cannot load anything else besides it. The PMDG handles so well and landings are real easy. I was not expecting that. I struggle to make perfect landings with the PMD 737NG as did I in the full motion simulator. I never liked the 737. Is it me, or a 777 is easier to fly and less complicated from the pilot's perspective than the 737NG? So far no bugs, issues, problems with over 20 short flights. I am actually getting bored! Nice work PMDG. I think I'll book my full motion 777 simulator in December in Miami. There is room for someone in the right seat.

I just attempted to reinstall my PMDG Aircraft as I just upgraded to a new more powerful PC and I am getting the dreaded FSX Coexistence failure in both the 777 and 737NGX 600/700. I have tried to create a ticket to get the file but it won't accept my password. I tried my username Richard Rowe and my email to no avail. Getting very frustrated as I want to start flying with the new PC. Please help ASAP! Richard Rowe

I flew today with the PMDG 777 200LR, after landing and restarting Prepar3D i wanted to fill the fmc (I hope it's called so xD) with information like my gps position, but I am not able to insert any position into "SET INERTIAL POS" (Here is a little screenshot: http://prntscr.com/etyeuv [My Startup state is 777 short]). I already searched on the net for any solutions, but I didn't find a solution yet. I already restarted the Sim and also my computer, but it didn't help. It would be cool if anybody could help me! Hi Guys, I switched to P3D V3 a few weeks back and have never been happier. As usual I have done many OMDB (fly tampa) to KORD/KIAD/SBGR/SBGL (flightbeam/fsdreamteam etc.) flights without any issues (as expected). However, 3 hours into a OMDB-KSEA (default) yesterday I OOM'd! I was shocked to say the least, considering it happened a few hours out of OMDB and considering that I had no KSEA add-on scenery it could not have been related to that. This made me think of the old FMC VAS leak, caused by specific conditions including "heading-to-radial intercept maneuver" as Rob outlined here when discussing the original issue and fix in detail. http://www.avsim.com/topic…

Would someone explain the discrepancy between the weights as shown below, i.e., Empty Weight in [General] as 326,000 lbs and [WEIGHT AND BALANCE] 369364.679. Or MTOW 766,000 vs. 775,000. I'm particularly interested in this for the purpose of setting up the aircraft in PFPX. I assume I should just go with the numbers in the FMC but there's a lot of difference between a ZFW of 326.0 and 369.4?????? Thanks. Hello all, I attempted a flight earlier in the 777 from KMIA to KJFK and when I got about 500 feet above ground during departure the aircraft shut down. I lost all power,controls and electrical power? It is not happening with any other aircraft, Airbus or NGX. Can anyone tell me of this is something that can be fixed using the 777 FMC in the maintenance section or is there something I am personally screwing up?? Thanks in advance.

hello i got a problem , i purchased the pmdg 777 300 er and 777 200 lrf it worked fine with short flights but the problem yesterday i decided to do a flight from dubai to Chicago oh'are wich is a 14h and 40 min flight so 6 hours after the take off i woke up and find that all the cockpit screen and fmc and mcp and everything where turned black even the engine stopped working it become like in cold and dark and it crashed into the sea AND THE PLANE STARTED jumping, but yet i had 40% of fuel remaining cz i checked while pressing shift Z , and it says fsx stopped working SO how can i fix this problem since i still have fuel remaining and the sa…

I am trying to get the MCP 2D panel to come up i press Shift + 5 and the panel comes up but disappears immediately. I reinstalled P3D twice thinking it was a problem with the setup Using P3D v 3.4 I have tried some of the other aircraft and they work fine including the PMDG 737NG

Someone can say to me why load planing is different between FMC 777 200 LR and PFPX some time some hundred kg . When loade why fmc did not accept pfpx value? Exemple I enter 13237 kg fuel 9000kg payload PFPX said ZFW 165135 FMC said 166.1 PFPX ramp weight 178376 FMC : 179.3 This is with DOW 156137 in my PFPX configuration. thank you

Hi guys. Recently, I'm not able to perform any wind and descent forecast uplinks automatically on ASN. I dug around and realised that the 777 isn't creating a .pln file and loading it into the sim. Which explains why I can't get any uplinks with ASN. I've made sure that the "CREATE AND LOAD TO FSX" option is selected. When exactly does the 777 create the .pln? When you activate a route, when the route is changed, or at a fixed interval? I've encountered situations where it doesn't create the .pln for the first 1-2 hours in the flight, and come back at 7-8 hours to see that the file has been created. -Darren Gwee

When I am flying the 737 especially with quick stopovers, I select 'short' state in the fmc and when ready to depart, select 'default' state which gives all systems and engines running. Now I have acquired the 777, the 'default' state does not give the same set up with engines running? Is there another state I have missed or can I download the default state I require?

Hello, I have been having long pauses and freezes with the 777 from day one and have not had the chance to do a whole flight as this issue was driving me crazy. Well, someone asked me to try and deactivate the FSUIPC autosave and try it. I just completed two short flights (EDDF-EGLL and back) and had ZERO pauses or freezes of any kind. The flights were amazing. I am going to try a long haul flight and see how that one goes. Will report tomorrow. It looks like in my case, the problem was with the FSUIPC settings. Not sure if anyone esle can get their pause/freeze issues corrected by doing this but it worked for me. Thank you McLaren and B247NG for your sugg…

I am suddenly encountering frequent pauses, lasting a few seconds, of the 777 in P3D version 3.142. This didn't happen originally with this aircraft. Could it be due simply to changing scenery from Dulles to Vancouver, BC? The frame rates have also declined. Both sceneries are enhanced above the default ones. Vancouver is by FSDreamTeam.

Hi, getting very frustrated. Hello All, When The operations centre tells you to download the complete installer from your account for a B777 update, can you simply run the installer over the top of the previous installation or do you need to uninstall the B777 first. (FSX version). Regards, Steve.

I have spent hours trying to set up my FMC for a KJFK to EGLL flight. I used the max number of passengers, no additional cargo. PFPX was used for flight planning. The calculated CG% for takeoff was 27.1%. The FMC gives me an error that it's invalid. I have tried everything I can to get my V speeds but regardless of setting departure runway, wind speed and velocity, flap setting according to TOPCAT, but I cannot get V speeds.

I have tried multiple times to recover my forgotten password to log onto precision manuals website. I get a message stating password has been emailed to me, but no luck. Please help. Stephen A. Crayton
