PMDG 777

Hello and sorry for my poor english, I run P3D V4.1 / PMDG 777 1.10.83.95 everything is OK, no problem at all. As soon as I've installed the 777 version 1.1.84.14, P3D crash during the window " loading scenery". At this time the screen is black and P3D process is still running in the background using about 12% of the resource of the CPU. Using a full restore of my PC I've been able to return to 1.10.83.95 and repeat this installation a couple of time, having each time the same problem. Hello I need help in understanding if there is a way to update PMDG 777-200 FMC STAR/SID Data. I am unable to see new SIDs for KATL such as NASSA2 VUZ or POUNC2 STEIT or KPHX STAR such as DRRVR PINNG1. Also It is difficult to find real world SIDs and STARs for KIAH as well. I installed and have used it in FSX for some time now with no problems, but recently purchased Prepar3d v4 and wanted to try the aircraft in that program. I went to support.aerosoft.com to download the latest update but it wont acdept my key from the box. Hi all this is Jas, FSX SE freeze up every time when I select my PMDG 777 aircraft under the free flight manual. Reinstall the whole FSX SE and PMDG won't help. Tried selecting built in ultralight then changing the aircraft after loading doesn't work as well. Shouldn't be a hardware problem, I'm running some demanding games with GTX1080 with no hassle. First, I promise you I have tried every search combinations of words I could think of to search all of PMGS's manuals. I'm only on my second flight of the 777, because I don't have a lot of spare time to learn all this yet, so I'm flying along from KMIA to Bogota SKBO and since takeoff I have a white FMX message. I don't know whay this is and didn't see it in the tutorial flight. Could it be something I did incorrectly? As I said, I searched all the manuals on my iPad for FMC status, FMC, status mesage, you name it. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks

Hello, this glitch has been present in the 777 for me for quite some time despite numerous reinstalls and updates. Essentially, every once in a while, the green speed trend vector will be absent for the PFD speed tape despite acceleration. What's strange is that it comes back to life upon touchdown and deceleration (but was nonetheless absent during takeoff roll and flight). I also notice that when this glitch occurs, the V1 and Vr callouts come prematurely (by a few knots sooner than when the glitch doesn't happen). Reloading the aircraft or the panel state also seems to do the trick. Any thoughts? Thanks

Minor issue but I am curious. FedEx is named in the startup window for this livery. Editvoice is updated and AI traffic for FedEx is called out. However, my plane is designated simply by the flight number. It must be a simple fix that I am not thinking of. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

Delta flies the 77L from KATL-FAOR (JNB) and return with a typical flight time of 15+ hours and a distance of approximately 8450 miles. I'm assuming the typical real-life payload is close to normal. Obviously this is a routine flight. But this is where I'm confused - doesn't a trip of this length place the aircraft close to operational limits in terms of fuel, weight, etc.? Specifically, when using the PMDG 777-200LR, I can't get a flight plan to work in PFPX. No matter what, the range/fuel is exceeded. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me out with this. Hi I am just starting to learn the basics of the 777, but I am having trouble with a few things. I am using airline2sim as a guide generally but I have scanned the PDMG manuals for a solution to my problem to no avail. In a nutshell, my radios do not turn on (no frequencies visible rather than just frequency not working), and I do not have any tapes on the PFD All I have done so far is get 2 jetway plugs and aligned the ADIRUS, and waited for the screens to turn on I have 2 sources of power. In the airline2sim videos these boot up automatically. I have tried starting from 'short' panel state, 'long' panel state and now …

Did a search couldn't find what I need. Doing the first 777 tutorial right now. Following along with the manual. It tells me to go to the CDU and I can set it to 4x (which is default), from there. Or right click the upper left button on the clock. So I right clicked on the clock and after a few seconds it turned teal color and sped up. With the CDU open to that page it shows it is ON in Green letters and across from it it shows 4x. However, in the manual it says if you right click it again it will show red which means 4x. If I right click it it turns red for a fraction of a second then goes back to amber which is normal time and the CDU reflects this …

Hi! Today I flew the tutorial #1. When I approach waypoint LELEM I received a warning "cabin altitude". Then my 777 turn left and start a dive. Everything appears quickly. When I Take control the A/P disengage as it should do. I add 3 pic from the incident. I have followed the instructions carefully in tutorial #1

In the new 747, there is an option in the configuration pages to totally disable all control inputs while the aircraft is in autopilot. I really like this feature because I can push my yoke in and use the PC for other things while the aircraft cruises in the background, then just center the yoke and click the AP off when I'm ready to fly the approach. Is there an option like this that exists for the 777, or is it planned for a future update? I have a few incidents where I turned my office chair around, bumped the yoke and sent the aircraft tumbling because the controller overrode the AP.

Sorry to have to ask this, as I know this can be a contentious subject as the info on the web tends to be stale, or it's seen as secret proprietary info, or it varies depending on if the flight if running on time. I was just curious if any one happened to know what the standard cost indexes are for the major 777 operators? I'm about to embark on a 13 hour trip in the 777 in the Delta livery from KATL to OMDB, and wanted to know what a realistic value would be. I believe they use 15 CI on the 737NG, but I have no clue what is reasonable for a long hauler like the T7. I think I'll just go with 100 for now. Hi, I am currently in route to KATL from EHAM but I have a problem my STAR it is CAE but it is not in the DEPARR page in the fmc any solutions.

While searching the 777F Aircraft.cfg file I found what looks like a typing error in the "Flaps.0" section, where the letter W appears on the type=1 line before the comment markers (see below) I have no idea if this is likely to affect anything (if indeed it is a typo!), but thought I'd better mention it as none of the other config files seem to have a similar entry. Hi all I have a new installation of P3d v4, so nothing from v3 carried forward. Downloaded the ever brilliant PMDG products. However when a save a new scenario and return to load it the aircraft suddenly is flat on its belly with no gear? but does not crash; but not going anywhere unless on a ski slope! Really annoying as did not have this with v3, tried with 777 and 737 (not gear issue just went out of control Question is after downloading again, with a removal of the previous version and fresh install is this a problem noted elsewhere Thanks Gusbow

Hi guys. Trying to get to grips with the 777 FMC, I'm importing pre made RTE's from http://onlineflightplanner.org/ and they load into the FMC and the auto pilot follows it just fine, however the last waypoint on the nav display insn't linking to the destination airport and it just stops, once I did something to make the last way point link the magenta line to the destination airport but I can't remember how I did it. Anybody know what I'm missing? I'm quite new to this so please bear with me. :D

I just purchased the 777-200LR/F During checkout they said "something" about requiring you to go into the aircraft sim's options sections to activate the "captain's" pop up PFD and MFD. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I must be having a senior moment because I cannot find what they are talking about. Thanks RIchard Jeffries

Well this is interesting. Just purchased & installed PMDG 777-200LR/F to Prepar3d v4. It ran fine. Saved custom views. Saved scenario. White trying to figure out where the PMDG options is (still can't find that one) to unlock the captain's PFD protection, I had to shut down to attend to another matter. I came back 20 minutes later and started prepar3d. It would not come up, but shut down. Rebooted computer. Then it shows it is running in task manager, but no sim on desktop. I go into simobjects, remove the PMDG aircraft (both) and the sim boots fine. Does anyone have any idea why this PMDG is causing Prepar3d to crash / not function?…

Noticed a strange thing today: on Prepar3d v4, the PMDG 737, 747, 777 HSIs won't expand when clicked on. Normally the little magnifier icon appears over the center, then you can enlarge the view. Works on all other displays, not the HSI. Anyone got any ideas? Other than getting a 32" HD monitor? :) Thanks, -S.Brandenburg.

On page 83 it says I should get a white HOLD annunciation but it's green. I notice the same thing happens in the 747 too. What should it be, white or green? Thanks and sorry for the dumb questions you guys.
