PMDG 777

The picture will explain it better than me, but basically what happens is that during approach with 242 tons in the following picture, VLS is around 100 knots, for a 777 is very low, anyone else having the same issue? I use P3d V4. Also I am having issues with the Radio Altimeter Callouts, they are based on the runway elevation, not on the actual RA readout. Regards!

I was thinking of flying the 777-300ER from KCLT-RJAA, could I make it nonstop with this aircraft? Also, could the 777-200LR fly direct between WSSS-KEWR?

Hello, I've been following the 1.5 tutorial, but I can't seem to load the route that comes with it once I get to that step. I've made sure that the route is added to the PMDG\flightplans\777, but no dice. I also made sure to have KIAD and EDDM as the origin/dest airports. HOWEVER, if I leave it clear and do not select anything, it then lets me browse the flightplans and the PFO103 route shows up. Any suggestions as to what could be happening?

Hi for the last three years i didn't have any problems with updates. With the last updates i uninstalled my B777-200LR and - 300 ER configuration completely. Then i downloaded and installed the updated versions with the full installers. I did not have to enter any serial. I start FSX SP2 with the default flight. Then i place the rotorcraft e.g. to KDFW. Then i change the aircraft to load the B777-200LR in PMDG livery. ---> Now FS quits with the message: ...has encountered a problem and will close now... No further advice from the message. hello. I have a issue with my PMDG-777 200 with gear going down by itself after retracted. It happens during take-off. After take off, even though I retracted the gears, few seconds later, it would automatically go down by itself. I don't know why. To be more specific, I press G key to retract the gears, and then few seconds later, the gear lever goes down by itself. It doesn't happen all the time, but happens sometimes. I didn't use any addons like fs2crew or proatcx, etc that PNF would possibly touch the buttons, Any solutions? thank you for reading

Hi all, I think this could possibly an anomaly of the WXR function: At 160nm zoom ("80" in the middle), there appear green shadows in a distance around 40nm (first ring) ahead. When I zoom in now to take a closer look ("40" in the middle), the green shadows would have to appear at the second ring (40), right? But instead, they appear around the fourth ring (80nm). Dear PMGD team, after the new installation of my PC there are currently occurring two problems. Previous to the new installation everything has been working properly. The first problem is, that I don’t have Departure SIDs within the airport EDDF. In the FMC I only receive These error message. The second problem is, that the 777 is completely deactivated by the time I am starting the simulator. Previous to the new installation it has been standing there with activated engines. During the decent A/P disconnects with out any reason. This is happening during flights with 777. Today's flight from KEWR to KDEN was perfect ,but when started to decent from FL380, at FL340 A/P disconnected the plane sharply begin to dive. I recovered. At FL270 again disconnected and dive the plane and I recovered. Final one when I reached to FL150 same problem, A/P disconnected and nose dive to 9000 Ft I recovered again and landed with out any problem. What should I check, to identity "Why" it is happening.

Hi all. I am running FSX with the PMDC 300ER and 200 add on. Each time I use FSX I have to manually load the FMC. Even though I route save on the FMC as well as save the flight, the data is never stored. This means each time I open up FSX I have to spend 10 mins or so inputting data again to the FMC. Any suggestions please?

Let me start off by saying that I know this is not the QOTSII, or any other Boeing aircraft. Also, I have searched the FCOM and other options for the answer to my question, but have been unsuccessful. Also, please note that I have hundreds of hours in the NGX and QOTSII, so suggestions of "fly the tutorial" are not much help. I have been curious about moving between idle reverse and other stages of reverse to full and I'm not sure exactly the best way to approach this. The tutorial talks about using F2 and F1, but is not as descriptive as I'd wish on how to vary reverse use. I have two questions: 1) What is operationally normative? Full blown reverse until 80 kts and then stow? Or, idle? 2) Is there any way to get feedback on varying how many times I press F2 (or similar key binding?) I ask because we have an option to show the motion of the thrust levers for the plane, but is this so in reverse? I want to be able, for instance, to use idle reverse only sometimes. …

Hello all, I have been losing my mind over this Prepar 3D v4 with PMDG 777...I have downloaded, updated...every thing I can think of and read about...When I open Prepar3Dv4 I am able to choose the 777, load it and it seems to be going through all of it's proper initialization. The moment I touch anything, it informs me it will shut down (and it does) leaving me a message about activating my PMDG variant. The thing is, I never was prompted to enter the activation key...I have no idea how or where to do it now. Hello, in my last flights with the 777 using FSX-SE I get constant crash when using the route downloaded from Simbrief. Crashes appeared shortly before the 777 was updated and are still continuing now. The procedure I follow is to load the route while IRS is aligning, then when countdown goes to 0, FSX crashes. Hi, something cool happened to me, but I don't know whether it's a simulated failure or rather a simulation failure. I was going on a trip from RJAA to SBGR, so I selected the JAL 77L with 3 auxiliary tanks. I know that in reality, there are no 77Ls with 3 aux tanks, but there's also no service from Tokyo to Sao Paulo... Anyways, I took off from Narita and about 2 hours of flight time, well shortly before I would arrive at the outermost of the Aleutian islands, I got an EICAS message saying "Fuel Disagree". I was performing a flight and noticed after landing that due to service based failures, my FWD CARGO FIRE LOOP B had failed. It's ok, we can MEL it (with restrictions on ETOPS, etc). But other than looking at the FMC "failures page," how does one find out the loop has failed. It passes the Fire warning test, and there's not a message on the Status page after landing. So say I was the maintenance guy at the outstation and wanted to PDC check the plane for the ETOPS signoff- is there a way to "find failures" without cheating and looking at the FMC failures page?

I would like to disable dynamic lights on the air and ground carts, they must reflect on the virtual cockpit causing it to be a slideshow of low fps when air and ground power are requested in the fmc. Flying in p3dv4. - David Lee

When I initialise the FMC after entering the airport code I click on the GPS co-ordinates and then as soon as I click on the current position line I get an error message that P3D has stopped working. I have tried this several times and it always happens at the same time. My 777 is up to date and I am using P3D v 4.0.28.21686. I edited EO ACCEL HT/ACCEL HT/THR REDUCTION to 800/3000/800 in INIT REF->TAKEOFF REF 2/2 page. But it seems that makes the airplane follows NADP 1 rule. What should I do to make the airplane follow NADP 2 rule?
