Help! Coming back to P3Dv4 after sometime away using Xplanes11 and have some questions about get everything updated: 1)All my other PDMG aircraft 747 and 737 have updated to P3Dv4 (I know because in the operations centre they show the different version of the plane relating to all the types I have - also have the 737 expansion) - but I seem to be struggling getting my 300 ER expansion pack to install (firstly could not see any 300 aircraft so tried to install (downloaded full install again from my account ) - and it gives me the 3 uninstall/modify options however after installing it still is not giving me any 300 type aircraft in the liveries screen or in the P…

Hi- If this topic is in the incorrect place, please move it. I rarely fly across the north atlantic, and when I have in the past, I had no issues. I would like to attempt another in the T7, but I am having some problems. I understand how the NAT system works for the most part, with entries and exits, etc. I am using PFPX, and the my first issue is the track messages only showing a single entry point, and not the pair that I have seen in the past on track messages. Has the procedure changed for flying the NAT's that now only requires flying to a single waypoint before entering the NAT? Problem #2 comes with my charting. Hello everybody, In the FMC setup for warning systems (page 10/13) my resettable siren is set to YES and AP disc scheme: 1 press. When the airplane flies through a storm, I get altitude alerts, overspeed alerts (nromal alerts in such circumstances)... then the siren starts, and I can't find any way to stop it ... but shut the sound off. It's really frustrating. And whatever I choose (wailer or siren); it all sounds the same. EDIT: I'm on P3D V4. Do I miss something ? Thank you for answers (sorry for my basic english). R. In the 777 is it not possible to set the trim nose down for take off. For instance from 4.0 to 2.75. Any ideas why? Regards Douwe Keegstra

I’ve been flying PMDG 777 (FSX platform) since release and have done all the updates, and have been using EZDOK, Active Sky Next without any problems even on long haul flights. Recently, I’ve had a problem with the autopilot suddenly disengaging while in cruise, and noticed that this is happening consistently while I’m moving about the flight deck (with EZDOK) using the arrows on the keyboard (not the ones in the numerical pad), although in one instance, it happened spontaneously. I don’t think it’s related to any spikes occurring in my joystick (Saitek X52 Pro). since I’ve recalibrated it and increased the null zones. I cannot figure why this is happening now. Would …

Hi, This may be a very quick and simple question for you all. I went digging with regards to weights so I could set up SimBrief correctly. I found the Empty Weight for the 777 to be 344,224 pounds (From the Aircraft.cfg, couldn't find it in the FCOM.) I've never been able to get my ZFW to align with my VAs estimate, and after finding this, I've realised why. Because my empty weight is heavier than their ZFW. I looked here for a reference: http://www.boeing.com/assets/pdf/commercial/airports/acaps/777_2lr3er.pdf It states that the empty weight for a Boeing 777-200LR is 320,000. Now this weight would allow me to use the suggested ZFW for my VAs flights …

hi, I am wondering, that in my both 200 or 300 versions, there are same MTW 348,7t from 300ER entered. So if I want "load" 200LR, I see same figures from 300ER... I have not done any standard configuration for FMS etc. How can I fix it?

Hi I know this has probably been asked before, but please don't re-direct me I just want some help, also please don't say "read the manual!" thanks! I arm the spoilers and arm the auto breaks to 3 on landing but they never deploy, I have to manually break which over heats the tires. So i was getting ready to fly from ESSA- Arlanda to OMDB-DUBAI. I had school the day later, so i enabled the "pause at TOD." I was about half the way when i went to sleep. The next morning i was cheking if everything was doing ok, i then started planning my decent and i noticed that the buttons wassn't working. The sim had been on pause for a long time, i don't know if that can have something to do with it. Cheers Vetle. :)

Hello all Somehow P3D v4.1 is crashing when minimized and 3 hours into the flight with B777. Ive tried two different flights. BIKF-KSEA and KSEA RCTP. SEA TPE being native addon scenery. the first flight was succesfully recovered with fsuipc autosave feature. I did not minimized P3D for the remaining 4:30 hours and I was able to complete the flight. Second flight happened again exactly 3 hours into the flight, again the sim was minimized. This is strange because I do minimize the sim with 744 long hauls and everything goes perfectly fine. why do I minimize the sim? because the GPU eases down and core temperature drops, also the fan slows down making less noise. …

In the T7 when I hover over any click spots the PMDG mouse cursor flickers with a much smaller cursor, but this only occurs after using the checklist. If I restart the sim the issue will go away until I use the checklist, the issue still persists even after a reinstall on both P3D v3 and v4.

Hello all. I recently purchased the T7 and love it. Thank you PMDG for another awesome product. I have a question that I couldn't get clarified looking past threads on this subject. The REV thrust. I can't seem to engage after landing while my nose gear is still off the ground. I can with my 74 from PMDG but not yet with the T7. good morning all - looking for some expert help or opinions on my T7. I just moved from FSX to P3Dv4 and everything is working like it did in FSX except during sharper turns. I was flying the pattern and doing touch and goes a few days ago. during each of the 90 degree turns around the pattern, the aircraft would transition from +/- 50FPM vertical speed to dropping to +/- 1000FPM. I was hand flying with the autothrottle armed and VNAV mode active, so in anticipation of the altitude loss in the turn, I would pull back on the yoke and trim nose up as I started the turn, this helped but then resulted in the aircraft starting to climb as soon as the turn was completed. …

Hi all, before someone throws: "thEre Is a colOr oPtioN in tHe Cdu" at me - i know and i found no way to change this color. How to change the greenish backlight is clear to me but i found no way to make the fault light (i.e. hydraulic panel) more darker by increasing the red value. Can this be done if yes - how? thanks in advance

Hello, I recently purchased the 777 for P3D after having flown it on FSX since release. On the P3D version I am experiencing an issue where the reverse thrust and autobrakes do not seem to engage until I manually force the nose gear down onto the ground. This is happening on every landing at any airport. I do not use fsuipc and use a joystick for control inputs. This setup has not had any issues in the past. The PMDG 737 in P3D works just fine on landings. I’ve see this issue reported on a few other threads but see no solution. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hi! It's quite early on in my flying carer in the PMDG 777 so my landing aren't that good, however I know people can give me some tips to help out! I land at -180 to -290 FPS. Hello, I use PMDG 777 within P3Dv4 (VC). When I'm on ground I got the feeling to sit in a Cessna. The height what I feel is much to low as this aircraft might have. This is also very disturbing when in flare short before touchdown. Has anyone an idea how to manage getting a higher position. What can be adjsuted to reslove it. Any ideas? Thanks BR Andreas Hövel

Hi, Whenever I load the route into the fmc and its displayed on the ND my fps drop like 10-15 fps. Initially I thought it was maybe because of a complex SID but even if I just load the route without the SID I have the same drop on fps. Any Idea of whats causing this? It started happening today out of the blue. Pretty much autopilot is drunk. During cruise I change alt lets say from 390 to 320. The plane waits when it is near T/D and then drastically drops altitude to reach desired level. Same thing going on with climb to the point of low speed alert. Then it overshoots HOLD alt and needs to recover and etc. I attached few images. Take a look at the contrail on the second pic. I installed this thin one to nicely show the issue. Hi, I seem to be one of the people afflicted with the PFD pop-out crash. I use the Co-pilot PFD instead, as suggested, and disable the PFD pop out option. However, having just purchased P3D V4 and installed by PMDG 777 LR and ER there, I've noticed the option to disable the PFD pop out is gone? I accidentally clicked on the PFD during a flight and - sure enough - P3D crashed a few hours later into the flight. Am I just missing where it is now? Thanks, Daniel.
