PMDG 777

Everyday is something new with the lighting system. I will describe as of today. Dusk. Landing lights and taxi lights do not illuminate runways or taxiways. From the exterior view the lights are on. In the cockpit a light comes on with the intensity of low dome light . Pan up to the dome lights and the bulbs are not on. Turn dome light control to dim and then back to off. The light sources disappears. Night. Dome light is only dim. There is no bright . Both dim and bright are of the same intensity. Dawn. Same as dusk with the exception of the light source. If the dome light switch is not used to turn it off when it comes on at dusk, it will disappear at da…

Hi I recently upgraded to P3Dv4. I have not set up a yoke/joystick yet, and reverted to my old habit of steering via keyboard commands. When I taxi, I generally stay right down the middle, but when I line up on a runway and press TOGA, the aircraft drifts off the side of the runway. I dont know if this is a PMDG normal issue, a P3D issue or operator error, but hope someone might have some insight that could keep me from taking on the part time job of mowing the grass with those beautiful landing gear....

Good day simmers I recently did a clean install of Prepared and I reinstalled the 777-300. I was on approach to Dublin last night I had everything set right in the FMC but my app and loc buttons would not activate. FMC is all updated so I don't know what the heck is going on

I have just completed my first short flight in the 777F, and I noticed something after disengaging the autopilot at 1000 feet on final approach. The alarm did not stop after I clicked the warning button on the MCP. It only stopped when I clicked on the autopilot disengage button (the one on the control yoke) for the second time. Is that normal procedure on the 777? I only have to click on this once with the 737 NGX and 747-400.

Hi all what do you use as fsuipc version for p3dv4.2 and 777 pmdg ? i'm working with the new 5.123e and when i load 777 this one run with (normally) engines on but when i load the dark and cold state (short or long state) my 777 begins to jump on the ground or my gear is under the ground and, finally, p3d crashes... have you ever encountered this problem and especially how did you solve it? I am having a perplexing problem. During departure the aircraft just kinda dies performance wise around 3400'. This happens with no altitude restrictions and 12000' or 310 in the altitude window. I have the thrust reduction altitude at 1500' and acceleration altitude at 3000' for a close in noise abatement departure procedure. The climb is normal until acceleration altitude (I'm in Climb 1 at 1500'). At 3000' I go to flaps 5, after a 15 degree flap TO at 550 thousand lbs. and it just won't accelerate the way it should and rate of climb goes down to 500'/min. It will get to 0 flap maneuvering speed (about 230Kts) after an inordinate amount of time and distance. When I get …

Good afternoon fellow T7 flyers, I updated from version 7075 to the current release today via my PMDG account download section, etc. All feels good in the VC and I can tell further optimisation has been done on this magnificent big falla'. One thing though, pushback was given by GSX at LGW - as it has many dozens of times before only this time the duration of the pushback caused the VC to shake. Most unnerving! Going to EXT view I could see the nose wheel bouncing up and down whilst the tug remained moving smoothly. I reset FSX and tried again on a different stand - with the same result. First off, thank you PMDG for producing a beautiful aircraft. The 77W has been my favorite type now for the past few years. However, when I start a fully ultra long haul flight My takeoff roll has gone off the end of the runway more than once. For takeoff, I line up roll a few feet to make sure, then hit the autothrottle speed button to vr, which seems to come late. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to hold the brakes and spool up first?

Hi! I have Pmdg 777 but I had a problem: In fact when I fly with the 777, I can't adjust the altitude, heading and speed. I can't increase them but I can reduce them. I am very disapointed because of that... PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

My accounts has been changed from PMDG as password too it was working fine but after I changed my password the accounts were not working any more asking me for the serial numbers from old transactions I will need to reactivate this accounts again. When I star FSX they don't work Please Thanks

Hello, With the introduction of the new 747-400 and (hopefully) soon the 747-8 there has been an introduction to a new and, if you ask me, improved friction model. I remember reading somewhere that PMDG might roll this update back to the 777. Does anyone know whether this will still be done? And when might that be? Well, after the latest Prepar3d update it appears something is broke, and I have no clue what it could be. I have the full FSUIPC version. I was doing this live on FB and VATSIM and truly embarrassed myself...lol. Here's the link to the video. I wonder if anyone else is having these issues. I fear a complete re-install of everything is on the horizon.

...and the -300 Expansion. I have it FSX, but I hardly use FSX anymore. Put many hours in this plane in FSX, including a world tour. It's not my favorite, the 747 takes up most of my flying time now but... Seeing this bird in Prepar3d, it's like I'm seeing it brand new all over again. It's not something I can put my finger on exactly. -Not one thing...Now I feel another world tour is in order!. And I also think I may actually tackle one(or more) of those polar routes! Thanks PMDG! So recently I was on a flight on board of Egyptair 777 , and luckily I got a chance to get engine view seat , what I noticed is that the light comes out on the engine in a diagonal oval like shape as shown in the picture , and when looking back at the sim , it's totally different , so I hope this feature is noticed even if the sim capability didn't provide the same shape , thanks in advance .

Hello, I'm following the exact procedure but I'm always facing a warning on the MCP before starting the engines. Always it displays the Following in yellow: ELEC BACKUP SYS . although everything is configured correctly, the message doesn't go away unless I start my engines. attached is the screenshot. your help is really appreciated in order to solve this error cause it seems that there's something wrong in the before startup procedure. I have just purchased the PMDG 777-200LR/F package for P3D, but when I try to install it, I get a message stating that I have an outdated version of P3D v3, and that I need to update it. The product information on the website states that it is compatible with P3D v3 and v4. I currently have v3.3.5 installed. Can someone please assist?

Since i installed the latest update for the 777 PMDG, each time that i am putting the roue in FMC, when i give enter to activate the route or before some times, the screen of FSX simply goes off. I have tried uninstalling and reisntalling the 777 severals times, also i gave format mi pc but the problems goes on. I will thank your help with thsis issue, becouse simply i can not use the 777 PMDG since i installed the latest update. I am using windows 7 and Microsoft flight simulator with acceleration pack. Good day. I'm suffering from an issue that may be related to others that are having CTD's, or maybe not. I'm just not sure because my Event Viewer and AppCrashView both show zero errors after the crash. On two attempts to fly from PHNL to RPLL the 777 crashed approx. 80-100 miles from TOD. I thought, maybe its a navdata issue. Then I attempted a flight from RKSI back to PHNL (FSDT) and this time I was 2500' AGL, on the LOC about to capture the GS and again, the sim just blanked out with no error whatsoever. Hi, After uninstalling EZCA, the 2-d panel of my 773 seemed to disappear. If I press A many times in virtual cockpit or press F10, I only got a PFD. Is that normal? If not, how do I retrieve my original panel? Thank you. Frank Tien just PFD?
