PMDG 777

I have just started getting a "glideslope" callout just after take off in the 777. This never happened when I first started using the aircraft, so maybe I have a wrong setting somewhere? Can anyone offer any advice?

Hello, I am trying to fly the ENG FIRE after takeoff, but the acft does not respond for my inputs, starts to turn left away from the magenta line and goes down. I make sure the aircraft is not heavy, (245T) departing from a sea level airport but still does not flight. Is there any manual to follow how to set up correctly the acft to be sure my setup is not correct? Thanks in advance.😖

Hello, I just purchased the PMDG 777 and I have the problem that when the FMC is put on the plane in Cold & Dark, the plane is destroyed as if it had crashed. I need help, I do not know if someone has happened to me and can help me. Greetings.

Hi PMDG, If you compare the official PMDG image with my own image from P3Dv4 you can see there is a difference in the way the lights illuminate the ground. In the PMDG picture the red/green and white lighting is clearly separate on the ground but my lights do not show the same. Also, the landing light color is different. Hello, I feel when I fly the B777 the instruments are not in the best resolution, even it is in high. the ECL multiple times is difficult to click and pass to the next CL item, seems that the mouse is too fast or not precise, sometimes the item delay to be checked after the click and I click again and return to not checked. Is there a way to solve this glitches? Is it my computer is not powerful enough for FSX-SE? my hardware is: Processor: Intel Core i3-7100 CPU @3.90GHz, 2 Core, 4 logical Processors RAM: 16 GB Windows 10 PRO-64 GPU: 4 Saphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 SSD: 250 GB Thanks in advance

Hello, I have the FS-Steam installed and there were no problem in playing the game, I bought the PMDG and as soon as I run it comes the message that RAAS is not updated, it takes to me a website to buy the product. I don't want RAAS in my PMDG. I understand I can turn off RAAS in the FMS, but the message for update still come every time I start the FS. I already send a ticket support but no reply from PrecisionManuals. Any help is more than welcome.

Hi, I seem to have a issue when trying to download the update for 777-300 on my P3D machine, I do make sure I've got both Antivirus & Firewall off. I have been able to update both 747 & 772 without issues. The download starts and then just goes off,so when I restart Operation Centre it still shows 1 notification for the update on 773. Hi PMDG team, I have noticed the timing of the external strobe lights is a little off. It appears that the tail and wing strobes are timed to flash at the same time. I watch the 777 fly into CYVR from my residence and it appears to me that the tail followed by the wings and finally the red beacon lights flash in a 1-2-3 succession which are probably a fraction of a second apart. Any chance of adjusting the timing a little? Thanks, Robert

Hello, I receive the following message when trying to open P3D v4: "Your PMDG 777-200LR/F Base Package is not yet activated. Please select and activate a PMDG 200LR or 777F variant first. Note that there are separate product keys for the 777-200LR/F Base Package and the 777-300ER extension package. Please make sure to use the correct key. The simulation will now exit". I cannot locate the folders for this aircraft. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello. I have for a long time had an issue with the sound of the startup sequence of the right side engine on the 777. There is a static "click" during the right hand side engines startup sequence which is heard 44-45 seconds after turning the engine start switch to start. i started noticing it back somewhere in P3D V3 and have had the issue ever since. i am now on P3D V4.2. I have found that the click could be coming from the sound file PMDG_777_Enginestart2c because you can hear a very loud similar static "click" if you play the sound file outside of the sim. HI, I am trying to program some buttons on my Saitek/Logitech panels using Spad.Next. The problem I am having at the moment is how to read whether Ground Power has been connected to the aircraft (GPU/Jetway plugs). Doesn't matter if its an LVar or EventID. That's the hard part. The easy part is to read that output and (conditionally) turn on/off Pri/Sec External Power Switches. Any assistance greatly appreciated

I do not start the engines on the PMDG 777 from Cold & Dark, but use the 777 Default on the FMC. the engines start but I then get warning sound (a beep, beep,beep,beep...) but cannot see any alerts displayed. Have read the manual but cannot see any reason for this. Can any member assist please? Thank you Donald Leaton

I took the 777 out the other day after fiddling with the QW 787 for a few months. I did a flight from KIAD to OTHH and noticed when I turned my WXR on that it appeared the weather was disappearing under the 40nm mark. I have the plane at 37,000ft. and the radar on "automatic mode" -2 which is very standard. When I started this flight from KIAD their were storms and the depiction was showing moisture clouds all around the plane as one would expect. After taking off the higher my altitude the further away it pushed the moisture clouds back until I finally reached TOC. I don't ever remember the WXR doing this. I have reinstalled and made sure everything is up to date on…

I choose to start the engines on the above aircraft with the DEFAULT 777 in the FMC menu. It starts the sequence and then an alert activates (making the same sound as if the throttles are pushed full forward whilst stationary....i.e. beep. beep, beep etc_ I then immediately reload with the DEFAULT 777 option, push my throttles full forward and back, and the alert stops. All is normal. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now but the problem still exists. Can any member advise what is amiss here please? Thank you Donald Leaton .

So, this is not my first run-in with this issue and I'm out of ideas on how to eliminate it. During most flights with the 777 I configure the aircraft while at a gate, setting all criteria including CoG. Usually while taxiing or on the runway I'll see the pitch trim lever spike to full nose down. Sometimes I can click the lever back to centered and it will remain, sometimes I literally need to fight with it until it stays centered. Frequently this occurs during my TO run, causing the MFD warnings and spoiling the experience. I was entering a real world route from CYYZ to RKSI for my B777-300ER (FSX) and one of the waypoints was 6430N/10000W. I believe that would be entered as 6N400 but it was not recognised by the FMC. Was the entry incorrect?

If I load a 777F with a ZFW of about 425,7 and a short range fuel load (about 11%) and a TO2 rating, I find that it takes almost full throttle to get the thing moving. It also takes forever to get moving on the runway, even with TOGA. Does this sound right? I calibrated my brakes in the sim with a null of 5.

So this just started today, out of the blue. This only happens on a Fresh Start up. If I load a previously saved flight file, then none of these issues below so far has occured Whenever I put on the Parking Brakes, they turn them off. Now the tab for the Brake in the game is still up but my message below is now gone and my other programs I use (GSX) does not see that the parking break is on so I get stuck on push back. I have the 777 PMDG and i love it using on P3d 4.2 with an thrusmaster X 52 PRO I have no problem in take off or at cruise but in descend it start to behave crazy. It started to accelerate in my descend to overspeed in full power and the first time i think it was an input given by my throttle, and to avoid that, iput the override controls to NEVER (in simulation page) so even if my trotthle gives an input the 777 will it ignore it. But suddely it started to accelerate full power and for 2 ou 3 times it happended and i had to turn off the A/T and back again to put it on track even with the override command to NEVER. you can see it in my live at youtube below in…

This is something i have experienced a couple of times, but just ignored or restarted the sim. But its bugging me. In the middle of the flight i realise that the flight levels and speed hasnt loaded. Like on this screenshot: As you can see i have entered in the 2 first waypoints manually. When i enter it into a waypoint manually it will load for the entire flightplan like if everything was normal. http://prntscr.com/izmm9k. And then the FMC spasms and then it goes back to the one i posted above. And it doesnt even show me a T/D. Any solutions to this problem?
