Hello, I updated my PMDG 777 to the latest build however right after the update when I load the aircraft it will load in the cold/dark cockpit and freeze, I can not click or move any switch, the aircraft is completely dead, I'm running P3D V4.3. When I reloaded the older version of my PMDG 777 the aircraft works fine it just stops responding once I update to the newer version. Any Idea of what might be wrong, has it happened to anybody else? all of my simm's add-ons are up to date and I never had any issue with PMDG before. I have a question concerning real world practice enroute: In several "aviation films" like PilotsEye etc. we can observe that pilots use a route offset of between five and ten miles to the right of the track when enroute over certain areas like Africa and Russia. Obviously they don't trust the vertical spacing enough. Or that everyone complies to it. My question is, are there further regions other than Africa and Russia where a route offset is common practice? South Asia perhaps, or Latin America? Difficult to tell for me, since Russia, where I know it is done, would have never been on my list either (they know how to handle radar after all). Thank you very…

I just purchased and installed the PMDG 777 ER, But I cannot locate any manuals that might have come with it. Are any manuals supplied with the ER? And if so, where are they located? I am probably missing something very simple and this is probably a stupid question... Or should I just follow the same procedure as the basic 777-200? Thanks dogs53 Bob LeBoeuf

Hi all, How do I run my FSX SE with the PMDG 777 with the graphics settings on max with FTX Global / Vectors / openLC scenery, and other payware addons without having the VAS out of memory crash issues? I usually can take off fine, but if I try to land at a airport with alot of high density buildings around I won't make it to the airport before I start hearing the beeps and then...crash. Usually it's from KSFO to KLAX or something like that where there's alot of buildings around. Do I have no choice but turning down the graphics settings? There has to be another way.

I'm running into an issue where many .rte files I've saved and used frequently are suddenly creating an "invalid entry" message when entered into the CO ROUTE field. This seems much more frequent after updating my product in the past two weeks. Did something internal change that might have invalidated the way my 777 is reading these previously working rte's? Hello, today when i prepared my flight plan from LTBA to UUDD and entered every thing in the FMC and all thing was ok and when i'm in the T/D i open the FMC to chose the arrivals plan there was not any runways to chose from or stars or anything there just NONE can you please help me with this issue http:// Thank you Raed

Hey guys, This is in relation to the 777 I've recently started making use of ground operations, especially fueling the aircraft. Going through this always fuels my aircraft to what I want but it leaves fuel in the aux tank that's transferring to the center tank. Am I supposed to wait until all transfers or can I take off with it in the transfer process? I've not found any guidance in the documentation yet so if someone can point mt in the right direction, I'd be very appreciative. Kirk Mayers Barbados

Hi I was decided to reinstall FSX with my original DVD So before I was uninstall all my aircrafts and adds on whitout problem excet for 777. Uninstallation is done succefully but the direct access on the list (progamms and settings) don't disappear. 1st problem Before the new installation of FSX (win7 64 bit) i was downloaded on my PMDG account the 777 basepack.exe (i think the lastest version) I execute the installation the menu gives me 3 options Modify, Repair, Remove. I choose Repair, the operation was completed succefully but 777 didn`t install. I tcan`t connect me to Support PMDG Thank for your help

Hello, guys. I would like to know if anyone has the FPPM to confirm a few information for me. I'm performing a (not so long) flight right now and my actual weight is (in kilos) 254.461kg. According to the cruise page, the optimun flight level is FL354. The MAX is 364 and the recomended has changed to 360 a few minutes ago.. But if i climb to FL360 (i'm in FL340 right now), the margin between stall speed and overspeed is very narrow. Any change in wind direction or intensity will result in overspeed or stall . That's why i wil maintain FL340 until i have, at least, 1000ft of margin between cruise altitude and MAX cruise altit…

Hello everyone! I have not found any similar threads to this, so I am starting a new one right here. It seems like that the PMDG 777 is not 100% accurate when flying in LNAV mode. I know that there are inaccuracies sometimes, but when I am flying in the real Boeing 777 Cockpit the airplane keeps 0.0 NM even when performing an 80 degree turn in China. Also, having talked to numerous 777 pilots, they are all telling me that the aircraft hardly ever gets "off track" more than 0.1 NM L/R. However, in the PMDG I usually get about 0.1 NM to even 0.7 NM L/R on sharp turns. (like overshooting). Wind data is inserted and all weights in the PERF page are all correctl…

Hey guys, Wonder if you could help me a bit on the color logic for the APU box on the Elec Synoptic Page? * Is the APU box suppose to turn "green" when the APU is running, or does it only turn "green" when the APU generator is selected on and powering a bus? * I noticed that the Primary Ext Pwr and the Secondary Ext Pwr boxes on the synoptic page are always "green" when connected to the aircraft, even if not selected on, and I thought the APU logic was the same?

I just upgrated to Navigraph cycle 1809. It just came out today. My current Navigraph database is 1802. The Naivgraph auto install shows a path of {FSX}\. The auto install runs to completion with no errors. When I start FSX and select the PMDG 777, the FMC shows cycle 1802 (my original). What could I be doing wrong? When I use the file manager (windows 7) and look at C:\fsx|pmdg\navdata I find this file: cycle_info.txt It shows AIRCYCLE as 1802 (not updated) Thanks, Jim Brady

I applied the latest updates for P3D v4 through the Operations Center, and now the 777 has no landing gear and the cockpit buttons are not operational. Thinking it’s the traditional “licensing issue” I uninstalled and reinstalled, but no joy. Any ideas? Oddly the reinstall never asked for my Activation Key. (I’m a loyalist from long ago and happily pay the purchase price, but this is a PITA and I would have thought PMDG would be better than this by now. Next time I won’t be so quick to apply updates). My PMDG 777 and 747(v1) has been acting all weird lately. CTD's, veering off the magenta line (on long haul flights) with no warnings at all, not loading panel states, sudden decrease in thrust (with no warnings) and similar issues. I've had no major updates on hardware/software (apart from reinstalling FSUIPC). Could it be a hardware issue?

Hello, I read some time ago that after the 747-8 is released some of the new features will make it to older aircraft such as the 744v3 and the 777. I read that Rainmaker and the EFB will possibly find their way into the 777 but I wondered if the ground-services introduced with the QOTSII will make it to the 777. I hope you can give me an answer and I am sorry if this had been asked/answered before, if so i missed it. Thanks for your answers. Dennis G.

Repeat tests of landing at MRLB Liberia, Costa Rica with Orbx free scenery, I establish normally on runway 07, with the LOC and glideslope showing captured. But then halfway during the descent, the red AUTOPILOT DISC message occurs and the wailer sounds. Why? I can see no contraindications, but see no way to overcome. Help much appreciated.😉

My first request for Help was for PMDG 747 . I recived help and problem solved (It was so simple) That is my second Help request for PMDG 777 A/P: Last three months on and off I am trying to search solution for 777 for the following problem: A/P has habit after take-off, over 1000 ft area when I engage the A/P, couple of second with out any reason A/P disconnects and I manually climb to cruise LV, I connect the A/P . Before TOD A/P decides to disconnect its self and dives to almost to hit the ground before I recover it.
