Hello, I bought yesterday your product PMDG 777 200 (ORDERID: 427605) (ORDER CODE: BBR0510476344), but after having installed PMDG Operation center stipulates that there is an update and when I try to do it I receive a error message, "Windows can not find PMDG_Updater_77L_P3D.exe, verify that you entered the correct name, and then try again" What should I do to fix this problem? cordially

  3. Hi, I wonder if it is possible to modify the way the AP responds to deviations from parameters set in the MCP? Or rather the general "smoothness" of the inputs the AP makes? E.g. when changing the heading, the movement of the aileron is roughly as follows (assuming dead air): it starts deflecting at a certain speed to a maximum deflection, stays there until it is close to the aimed bank angle before the deflection reduces at a certain speed until the aileron reaches a position that maintains the bank angle. Does anyone know if is it possible to modify the AP in a way, that this process becomes a bit "smoother" or "harsher"?

Hi guys, I am running windows 10. I have downladed PMDG 777-Base Package for Prepar3D installer from pmdg website. This version is v1.10.8448 after installtion, and running the pmdg operations center, there is a notification to update it to the latest version which is v1.10.8886. The download bar appeared for 0.5 second and disappear thereafter. However, the version stays as the old version v1.10.8448. I have disabled my antivirus and ran the pmdg operations center as an administrator. Please help thanks.

  5. Hi. Strange but real. When an AI aircraft is the front of the A/C I fly (In this case it's the PMDG 777 but it is the same for the 744), the AI information label (red font info) can be seen via the panel. Kind of, the panel is transparent to the AI label. Obviously the AI has to be in front of you. Any ideas what is wrong here? It's not a big deal or disturbing flying, but funny and unreal... Did not check in the NGX as I fly it less. Thanks Benny K

How do I make an approach using these facilities? Is it even possible with the current PMDG 777-300ER avionics? I can find no reference to these terms in the current documentation. Are there any non-US equivalents that can also be used?

  7. Hello to all: I have recently (I believe that after the most recent update) started to experience a dizzying experience with the B777-300 (Interestingly enough, it does not happen in any of the various PMDG or other add-ons I own). At cruise altitude (i.e. FL370) it continuously oscillates with variations of 500-1000 feet and corresponding changes in air speed as the AP tries to compensate for the descents and ascents. It happens with ASE on or off, it happens on-line (VATSIM/IVAO) or off and with either VNAV or ALT HLD selected. It is obviously quite disrupting and, looking at a porpoising screen for a long flight is no fun. I have tried to search the…

Was looking out the starboard window, and heard a bunch of alarms going off. When I turned around I saw a few yellow EICAS messages related to the engine, but they went by too fast for me to read them. I was also distracted by the fact N1 had dropped to idle. Finally the EICAS settled on a single warning: EQUIP COOLING OVRD, and then n1 was restored. I followed the EQUIP COOLING OVRD checklist and the warning went away. The remainder of the flight was uneventful. No failures were active through this event. Any ideas why the system would go into override mode? The FCOM/QRH don’t explain why this mode occurs, nor the strange engine behavior. Any insight is appreciated…

First and foremost, Thank you so much for this great product! It's one of my favorite ones to fly. I was wondering whether PMDG was planning to update a few items in the T7. While I only fly GA, I note that there's really no feel of inertia on the aircraft. Maybe some experienced T7 drivers can comment, but my understanding of heavy aircraft is once breakaway thrust is set and the plane starts moving, it'll keep moving, even at idle, until the brakes are applied. Will this be simulated in a future update? If so, that'd be awesome! On a side note, and please pardon my curiosity and inquisitiveness, will there me animation updates to the model with respect to the …

  11. Hi all, PMDG has updated their 777 friction model some time ago, but in my opinion it is still not up to par with the 747V3 or competitor products. Examples are: Light weight (after landing) taxi on idle- or low engine power, nearly impossible. stopping distance with the autobrake upon landing, is this realistic? Compared to the 747 it feels as if the 777 stops within a heartbeat, while the 747 takes it's distance. starting taxi requires quite high N1 before aicraft starts moving. Does anyone get this too? Is this something that PMDG will update in the future? or will there be a more general update to bring it up to par with the 747V3? …

Hi folks, Larry Vance mentions in his book 'Mystery solved' on MH370 that the APU starts automatically in case the engine run out of fuel. It seems not to be simulated. Cannot find in FCOMs the information.

Hi guys, Hope you're all doing well. Sorry if this not so important question has already been asked. I was just wandering how PMDG intends to implement the upcoming and very exciting GFO in the marvelous PMDG 777. Basically, when we'll request TAF/METAR, will we have to proceed only via the FMC ? Or will we be able to use the COMM page of the multifonction display like in the real world, which would be fantastic ? Thanks a lot for your consideration, Bruno Thimothe

  14. Job well done Gents for creating a fantastic rendition of the T7!I just installed this masterpiece and dived straight into fsx to test the new Collins weather radar but to my dissapointment it isn't working at all.I own the ASN (updated to the latest build) and the weather depiction on the sim is fine(I even changed to manual mode on ASN and threw some thunderstorms in the sim).I chose all modes on the weather radar and in-between I left it in the current setting to stabilise through an area scan but still nothing.I tried to maximize the gain to get a lot of clutter but still not a green spot.I read every chapter of the manual conserning the weather radar but I couldn't f…

  15. I have the PMDG 777 installed in my FSX:SE, as well as FS Recorder 1.331. I noticed a thing that only happens with the PMDG 777. During playback, the landing lights flashes repeatedly, and these lights are much brighter on playback. I already tried to turn off the lights and disable "lights" to be recorded, but I still have the same problem. I wonder if this is a normal bug or a problem on my software.

  16. Seeing the strange behavior described above- I configure a flight at an airport, get everything ready, and when I save the panel state the sim reloads the scenery. Often the time of day is changed as well. I just reinstalled and checked all pmdg products for updates, and am still seeing this behavior. I purged all my saved panel states, so this is purely when creating a new one. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!

When I open the PMDG Operations Centre, I receive a notification that there is an update for the PMDG 777 - and I choose to install it. All seems to go well with the download, then I see the script writing - and it looks as if it has installed OK. However whenever I open the PMDG Operations centre again - the same notification and update appear - so obviously it has not installed. How do I fix this? It has been going on for weeks - so clearly I have a problem. Any help appreciated.

With Atlas Air (AAWH) acquisition of Southern Air in early 2016 I've kinda wondered what the merged airline livery of the 777F would be. What management has said is they want a single operating certificate. But the landing rights at certain Asian airports require the aircraft to be on the Polar certificate. So I put together a 777F in the Polar name with the DHL tail like all the current aircraft we fly. I think it came out pretty decent. Its been uploaded and awaiting the library mangers approval. Enjoy!

Hi all, after the latest incident with an Korean Air Boeing 777-300 in Narita, Tokyo, I was curious about the techniques that are involved into the main landing gear and searched the net a bit.. I found a pretty cool clip showing the ground steering system operating and I'd like to share it with you... we seldomly see it that close.

  23. Ideally, I would like to add either an updated B777-300ER or a B789, but I don't know how long I will have to wait. In the meantime, I may have to look at a B748 or a Milviz KingAir 350i, when available. Any thoughts on my options❓

Hi all, Flies great but I have a problem slowing her down after passing T/D. The 777 seems not to slow down enough and as a result I am at a much higher speed when reaching finals. I know this a slippery plane. I use speed brakes, enter desired speeds into FMS but I just can't get it right. Any others having the same problem? Thanks, Christos

  25. Hello, I've just upgraded to P3d4.3...some issues with PMDG 777 (all other PMDG planes work fine): - at start, when loading existing scenarios instead of the green line with "Initializing All systems" apperas "Airport cache " - then all screens (PFD, ND, ECAM and FMC) remain black/blank and the MCP is not clickable... what should I do? Thanks for help
