PMDG 777

I have been experiencing some problems with my 777, i load the plane, set up the FMS, payload, furl, MCP, Save all my settings and once i try to load, its all gone, nothing was saved. Some flights i even saved flying with AP and all, configured, level flight and once i load, there is nothing on FMS, no AP, and of course m the plane starts to dive. Anyone has any tips, i am pretty dumb with computers thanks

I am about to learn the PMDG-777 and so far so good. Except I am not sure what to do after I get the message RESET MCP ALTITUDE. I lower the altitude according to the charts and then what ? What do I have to do in order to get the descent ? I appreciate your help. Paul12

Thinking about upgrading to the 777-300 livery and was wondering if there is a Delta repaint available for it? That's seriously the deciding factor since I only fly Delta livery lol. I already have the -200 Delta. Per Delta website, they do not have the -300 in the fleet so it would of course be a fictional repaint. If anyone who has the -300 already can just open the Operations Center and check if there is a Delta livery for the -300, it would be greatly appreciated, and would take less than 5 minutes of your time to do 🙂

After loading in a PMDG 777 at any airport, after 15-30 seconds, Prepar3D stops working and askes you to close program. Only the 777 seems to have this problem. The 737 does not... I have tried the general debugging steps and have gone all over the internet. THIS PROBLEM JUST HAPPENED, it was working fine before. Hey all, Like so many before me I guess, I've set up a sim to help with 'real world' flight training requirements, i.e. I recently renewed my IR with the help of FSX and the RealityXP GTN650. Probably saved me hundreds of $$$ of actual mistakes in the air. Great tool. So, the next step for me is to do some airline interview prep in the 777. Just straight forward stuff really, T/O, Climb, S&L, Medium Turn, Steep Turn, Idle Descent, ILS and landing. The issue I'm having is my throttles keep going to idle in the climb to 6k. Long pauses/freezes/P3D not responding then flight resumes. Happens during all phases of flight sever times per flight. Test flight CYVR-KSEA PMDG777 v 1.10.8886 P3Dv4.3.25520 ActiveSky16 (P3D) Tested without ActiveSky16 running and same problem. Did a typical screenshot during the pause/freeze. Hello, I have experienced the following problem while t/o roll from OMDB this night on 777-300ER: Upon reaching V1 the IAS rapidly dropped for several knots and then increased to V1 again. Has anyone experienced the same issue with IAS fluctuating just at V1 just before rotation? Thanks in advance.

I'm using FSX Non steam version, PMDG 777 and ASN. I just reinstalled my 777 with the newest update version, and discovered that my weather radar is not working with ASN. Not working here means even if I "TEST" the radar, there is only aural callout of windshear and the red "windshear" text, but I don't see any colour patterns on the ND. All precipitations cannot be observed either. After checking in details, I discovered that it is the as_btstrp.dll file in the as_srv folder that created the problem, I tried to paste my backed up old version of the file to the folder and replacing it, the weather radar test now works, with patterns observed. Any one have an issue setting the com freq. to the on line ATC ? I tried with V-pilot and FSinn and for some reason its stays on one freq and no matter what I do in the 777 it won't change the freq. to match FS Inn or V-Pilot . The 737Ng is fine . I run Go Flight and the interface tool but I shut go flight conf right off, to normal and its still the same ,so I'm out of idea's . I've been flying only the 737NG since it came out ,and it's the only jet i fly. I have 9 Go flight modules including the Advanced Auto pilot-- not the MC Pro and the EFFIS panel that i bought this summer at the Vegas conference. Lets just say starting the 737 i don't use the mouse hardly at all. I just bought the base pack 777 and have to basically convert all my switches and rotaries to this bird . Is it pretty well the same for switches compared to the 737 or are lot that i didn't use for the 737 will be different ?I'm sure some of you die hards here are using the GO-Flight interface tool and can enlighten me . Just downloaded the T7 for P3D v4.3. All the DU's zoom out except the Captains PFD. Tried using the top menus in sim, nothing happens when selecting the PDU. I use three smaller monitors to undock the displays. Installed version 1.10.886. WIN7 Ultimate 64bit George Nacino

Hello dear all, I really need to you help me to fix the problem. The problem is : When I fly with PMDG 777 or PMDG 747 (only PMDG 777/747 !!!) in VC. Everytimes the mouse moved over the Button in VC (Mouse cursor become a "Hand"), my FPS drop from 35 to 9 ( but just in 0.01 sec). I try to update my all drive of NVIDIA/ MOUSE... it's useless. I think I almost try everythings what I can do...but its still stutter during the mouse cursor moved over the button in VC (PMDG 777/747). Another addon was run perfectly. AS Airbus Pro. QW 787...soomthy and Frame Rate keep around 30-35 FPS ( Locked at 35). Does anybody have the same problem? Thanks …

I have years ago purchased my PMDG 777-200LR/F and have this beauty on a DVD. I have just never flown the thing because of a poor performance pc, that barely could run the 777 standing still on the patio. If I tried to turn on the nose wheel light the pc crashed right away. Now I have just got myself a major hardwear overhaul, new gamer pc., screen and new joystick (HOTAS) and I change my simulator from FSX to P3Dv4. So everything is just swell and I’m pretty satisfied with myself for a job well done, just till the point where I wanted to reload my 777. To my horror I discover that it only works in FSX! Hello, I just encountered this problem today where after a normal engine start there is no movement with an increase in thrust. What is also strange is the GS on the navigation display and PFD is showing an increase and it will also decrease when I brake despite the plane not moving at all. It is as if the parking brake is set? (the parking brake was not set). I recorded this video to show the problem. Best wishes, Aaron K

I wanted to purchase the Chief Pilot's Flight Manual Package as referenced in the intro manual, however can not seem to find it on the PMDG website or even with google. Hello, Been a PMDG user for the last few years but have been on hiatus due to life events. I recently came back and noticed my 777 and ops center needed to be updated. Since updating however, whenever I input a flight plan manually into the FMC, about 5-10 seconds after pushing "Exec" FSX crashes with a pop up stating FSX has stopped working. It happens on both the 200lr and 300er, but none of my other PMDG products have this issue (including MD11, 737, 747 and 747-8). Curious what the cause and fix would be. I have re-installed the 777 a couple times since then with deleting the left behind folders in between installs. I`ve also tried starting the sim using dif…

Hi All, Wondered if anyone has expereinced this problem/can offer some advice on how to fix it please? I have been experiencing a problem with my recently purchased 777 200/300 products. I appear to have trasnparent boxes around my navigation, strobe and beacon lights on my 777. When viewed close up they dissapear but from a distance such as tower view or spot view you can clearly see transparent boxes around my lights. I have attached pictures to demonstrate. Hi, so i recently download the TAM livery for the 777-300ER from the PMDG OC. however, after it has been installed, when i run FSX and select the TAM livery for the PMDG, i try view the livery the simulation crashes.. when i select the livery without viewing it, the simulation crashes, this is also happening with the Cathay Pacific Airways (Asia's World City) livery and when i select another livery for the 777 like AAL or any other liveries, they works. need help Regards, Bonny Shillingford

Hi all, just a question to help me decide whether to buy the PMDG 777... I am currently doing a real world B777 type rating, and would like the PMDG 777 to help practice with procedures both normal and non normal. I note on the PMDG website they say it is a “sophisticated simulation with nearly every function of its real-life systems modeled in high fidelity’... my question is what systems are NOT modeled? Just so I fully understand any limitations of the sim before committing a significant lump of cash to it! Also, are the FDs the wing type, or the vertical and horizontal bars type, and can you swap these over? Thanks in advance! Iain.

After weeks of trial and error I was able to successfully plan and load a route into FMC. When I entered my cruise alt of FL380 it told me my max cruise for this route was FL353. OK. So I set it for FL353. Take-off, ascent goes fine, waypoints crossed etc. Now, my problem occurred when I was almost reaching T/D and I was waiting for the FMC to tell me RESET MCP ALTITUDE but this message never came. Instead once I reached T/D I got UNABLE CRZ ALT instead and thus my altitude never started dropping. What did I miss? Tried Google search for this problem but didn't find an answer for my exact situation.

Hi all, I see a lot of interest, admittedly a little by myself, about the 777-200ER. Can we please have a statement either way about whether PMDG still intend to make this product? In the initial product release, the intro manual stated the 200er will be coming out months after the initial release. And we have had absolutely no word since. Hi, I am trying to get the display option "RANGE ARCS" and "TCAS 3NM RANGE RING" to display on the ND. Both options are set to ON in the PMDG Setup>AIRCRAFT>DISPLAYS page 4/7. Is there anything else that would prevent me from seeing these options? Thanks for help
