PMDG 777

I have just installed the PMDG 777, and when I am flying the screen keeps freezing for several seconds and than it starts up again and than freezes for several seconds etc. I am getting frame rates of 20-23 which is OK. I am running windows 10 with FSE-SE. ANy help would be appreciated. Thank you.............Steff

I tried bringing in the SID/STAR file from the NGX, but it's not recognized by the 777 FMC. Gives me a "RWY 13 NOT IN DATABASE" or something like that... Any ideas?

Hii , i have p3d v4.5 and when i load the pmdg 777 it crash to deskop after few seconds. when i check the error log i do no understand what the problem. what i tried to do is to make the plane to start from cold and dark mode and that indeed fix the crashing (for now) . so i turn on the power up and when i get to the fmc ( initial position page ) i am entering the numbers and than it crash to desktop. now i think the problem is in the fmc and not in my game. i have windows 10 fully updated. here is the log file , please help? Navigraph AIRAC cycle 1906 not in data base!!! when I input the airport in the fmc ,fmc will display "not in data base" !how can i do next ,the 747 with the same problem，but 737 No problem.It's a strange thing.

The ILS Frequency is always at "Park" and I have to manually set the frequency and course. Is there a way to set it in autotuned ILS frequency?

Through external view, I see gear are extended. Through EICAS, I see the green box with the word DOWN. My gear lever is down too. However, my gear synoptic display shows 3 gear doors are all closed. How can I fix/debug, or I have wrong concepts about this aircraft? This happen no matter in air, or grounded.

Hi, It was a usual flight today from Athens to Doha... I passed 10,000 feet and I turned off the landing lights... After a second, all the navigation displays went black one by one... I know this is a known problem in the 737 and 747, but I've never heard this problem with the 777... Can anyone provide me a solution for this... Thanks, Mohammed

Hey Y'all, I've noticed that a few 777-300er models have a partial white cowling on engine one. this can be seen for instance with Cathay Pacific's B-KPQ. Does anyone have any idea what the purpose of the partial white cowling is used for? Thanks, Rajan

Hi I planned this Air France T777-300ER flight from OLBA to LFPG. 4:38 min. Flew over Greece, Turkey, Italy the Alps and 20 minutes to land P3d v4.4 Froze. Aircraft was configured perfectly and about to land. I tried to wait out "Simulator not responding". 30 minutes passed nothing. Checked CPU1D, GPU-2 utilities, and Task manager things are fine. Closed few things including UTL, Chrome.exe, .Apple Apps, etc. nothing happened. Used Processor explorer to change Sim Affinity and Priority. Hi, I'm using the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog with the 777. The controller is calibrated in P3D and all axis are assigned in P3D (there are no assignments in FSUIPC). When I return the HOTAS throttle to the idle position the engines go slightly into reverse and the spoilers deploy, Its making taxiing really tough as i keep inadvertently deploying reverse which deletes take-off speeds. I don't have throttle issues with any other add-on aircraft. Any suggestions as to what is happening will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have just run into this issue. I loaded a flight plan, prepared via SimFlight, into the PMDG 777-300. I went through all the necessary steps in the FMC regarding the INT, SID/STAR, TO speeds, Approach speeds, etc. I hit ACTIVATE/EXECUTE as necessary. I did all the same steps as I have done before with no issues. This time, when I look at the legs page(s), the airspeed/altitude shows, then flashes to "---/------" then flashes to the airspeed/altitude, then back to the dashes and stays there. I tried loading all into ROUTE 2, but that did not make any difference. I can't figure out what caused the issue as it has not happened to me before. One other thing …

Hi there, This might be an issue that has already been reported, but I coudn't find it so here it goes. Today on my flight back to Amsterdam I was entering the step-climbs as I normally do. But at one point the "Not enough fuel" message kept popping up every single time I entered a letter. Even though there was enough fuel... So after getting rid of that message by cheating a little I coudn't type into FMC1 anymore. It's stuck. By mouse and by keyboard. Hello guys, The autotune feature of the default ATC (it says ATC disabled; no electric) overrides the communication of my PMDG 777, the radio frequency remains 100.000 and with squawk 0000; I would not be able to tune it, and it seems like locked. Does anyone has a solution for this situation?

I've been flying this bird for maybe 6 months or so and every thing always went to plan --disconnect the auto about 1,000 feet on final take the rest in by hand and all is good . Then one day i had to do a miss so decided to do it by hand and that's when i found out real quik that this is a different bird and if you don't have your yoke nailed down to the desk with 6 inch spikes , pushing and pulling isn't gonna do any good at all. Hi, I've been doing a flight on the 777 to Sydney and on final approach I was using VNAV to manage the speed of the aircraft during approach. For some reason, on final approach the vnav set a speed of 250-240knts. It only reduced to 170knts when I reached the LAST VOR/DME waypoint FOR THE APPROACH. From there the VNAV refused to slow down to lets sat 14-150knts. Therefore I couldn't expend the flaps to full. So this leads me thinking that do you use VNAV to manage speed during approaches? If so can anyone explain what went wrong? Thanks, James

The download manager marks the American 777-200LR as "accurate" but that's not true. The supplied config is only accurate for the new 777-300ERs. Hello all, I just bought the PMDG 777-200LR/F base and the 777-300 expansion pack yesterday for P3Dv4.4. I installed the PMDG without any problems but I got into the cockpit of it everything was cold/dark couldn’t clicked on any cockpit buttons and didn’t have gear as well and wondering what seems to be the problem. I deinstalled the software with P3D v4.4 and reinstalled it again and still having the same issues. Any ideas or thoughts. Thank you

Good afternoon, did few flights with late hours departures, and, as said in the topic title, the taxi/landing lights don't illuminate ground. Neither from inside VC nore from the outside you see illuminated ground, although the lights are on. This is specific to 777 only, other PMDG (and other) aircraft have no problem with ground illumination. Please advise.

Hi guys, in Boeing 777 and in 747 after I entered the flight plan, how do you check all the perspectives on the navigation display? turning the knob on PLN does not appear on the FMC in the lower right corner the word STEP, which by clicking on sequesnza allows you to control the entire flight plan, as it is possible on the 737, can you give me instructions? thank you Alean
