PMDG 777

  1. Hello everyone. I've stumbled upon this thread: However, the page linked there does not host this guide anymore. I messaged the author, but he no longer keeps a copy of this. Googling resulted also in broken links and Error 404 everywhere, and the Wayback Machine was useless for this. Does anybody still have this document?

    Hey guys ever since today when i use the PMDG 777 and program the FMC routing manually (sometimes company routes) and do all the FMC preflight.The VNAV page (after filling everything out in the FMC) fails to show the recommended altitude and the mach speed blinking. Consequently the VNAV button in the MCP comes green initially when selected and then comes off adter 2 to 3 seconds. Furthermore even after putting all the correct values in the performance page and checking all the values, the legs page is left without any altitudes as a result of the issue regarding VNAV.   3. Hi! I've just purchased the PMDG 777-200LR and I'm getting to know every feature of the aircraft, which has some differences in relation to my previous 737. The one thing I'm not being able to crack is that, in the Take Off configuration in the FMC, I'm not allowed to set a Thrust Reduction (TO-1 or TO-2) but I can set CLB-1 and CLB-2. Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Thanks for the attention :)

    Hey Y'all, From what I've gathered from the forums, gsx will determine the tug based on the aircraft weight. When using the PMDG 777 with a full payload and 50% fuel (~550,000 lbs) I still get the small tug that is used for the 737. I am not sure what is causing this, and I've tried to get support from GSX multiple times but haven't had much luck. Anyone here familiar with how to get the larger yellow tug or the nose lifting tug for my pushbacks, as I am getting tired of settling with a 737 tug to push my 500,000 lb 777.   6. Well, the title summarizes my dilemma. I mean, hell has frozen over (sort of), and PMDG has offered a bargain. I'm getting the itch to buy tthe 777, but then I remember it's VC only. I'm a declared 2D-saur but, if the performance is right, I can let this fact pass. I'll just mess with the camera settings and it's all done. My only experience with VC-only airliners is the Aerosoft Airbus and the QW 787: - Aerosoft Airbus: since Aerosoft recommends using unlimited FPS, I need to change this everytime I fly this plane.     Hello all! So I had a question about the step sizes in the simbrief OFP. Sometimes, the step sizes will be straightforward (for instance, CRZ alt is 340, and you step to FL360 at some waypoint, which means in the PMDG 777, the step size would be 2000). Other times, the step sizes won't be equal (for instance, CRZ alt is FL360. You step to FL370 at a waypoint, but then you step to FL390 at some other waypoint later on). The increment isn't equal, so what would the step size be? Do you calculate step sizes through these increments? Two more questions.     Hi, I recently purchased PMDG 777. Amazing beast. Although i'm very happy flying it, it seems that I miss something since I lack some flight manuals. More precisely, in the flight manuals folder, I only have 2 files, the introduction and the tutorial. FCTM, QRH, FCOM 1 and 2 are missing. I have tried opening them through OC but it didn't work. Nothing happened. I also tried to reinstallation but had no more luck. Is there a way to get those manuals? What am I missing? Thanks for your help.

    Ill go to disconnect the autopilot and the alarm sounds (normal) but then when I press the button to silence it it doesn't stop. The only way I silenced it was to (after putting the disconnect button back) re-engage the autopilot.....

  21. Hello All, Sorry I am new to this forum and need some help. I am Thrustmaster 16000m and when I am give the aircraft a little power to roll and bring back the throttle down, it does not go back to idle. This was working fine and all of a sudden it starting giving this issue. I unplugged the controllers and plugged them back but it still happens. v

    Afternoon Captains! I am working on a special paint of the 200LR in USAF VIP colours - not Air Force One itself, but similar to the VIP 757s (C32A\ B) Hope to have it finished later today. I will also include a Boeing spec seating \ cabin layout which matches up with the missing doors and windows. I will try to attach a pic to show you the progress so far.   24. Hi, I am using a Precision Flight Control Cirrus II console with a 2 jet quadrant, so I have the Thrust reversers configure on a separate axis. The reverser works find. But when I have the 777 ready to taxi (Engine running) sometime when I increase the power both engines goes into reverse mode, and if I retract my Throttles to idle, a strange thing happens. Both engine goes in reverse mode and the two little white arms over the throttles retract inwards. Also my spoiler gets deployed and my takeoff speed gets deleted in the FMC, So to get the engine out of reverse mode, I have to use the mouse and push the two white arms toward the flight deck. Is this normal?…

    I think PMDG 777 must be revised. It must have working EFB with charts and performance calculator like PMDG 747-8. And i think you can simulate Comm page. We can virtually make ocenic clearance request without contacting any server or we can get atis from ivao or vatsim server like QW787. And i want to see rain on windows QW787 has true glass which makes aircraft perfect. In my opinion 777 deserves all.
