I keep getting a message that says PMDG cannot find the 777-300 GMC\aircraft.cfg file, but it's in there. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

I'm flying from ams to yyz and wanted to do the flight in legs and save the flights in mid-air. I read the manual on how to and it said the computer should automatically create files. The computer won't and I cannot load a panel state

I find that when I record a flight with FSRecorder and play it back, the flight controls and flaps don't move like they are supposed to. Also sometimes the engines will not light off. Is this a bug?

I'm flying with Heading Select engaged and now I want to fly to a waypoint. Since I'm not sure of the heading to the point, I presume I would engage LNAV after programming the route into the FMC. When I engage LNAV, the PFD still shows Heading Select in green with LNAV below it in white. Pushing the SEL button does nothing. I'm ding something wrong, but not sure what.

Hello, This is the second time i have encountered this bug (?) where my FMC becomes completely useless after making a few route changes like selecting a different runway/STAR for landing. I can't make any changes on LEGS, RTE or VNAV page. I made a video which might be able to explain the problem a little better. Using P3Dv4 with Orbx and active sky. Using vpilot for vatsim. I tried everything i could but could not fix the problem. Any help would be appreciated Thanks,

Hello, I have experience fps hit after i filed the route in the fmc. Before i file the route, the fps was just smooth. This happens after i installed the 747. Before this, there was no fps hit even at the gate, cruising or landing. Any help would be appreciated Imran

Hello, I have recently switched from P3Dv3 to P3Dv4. I had been using Level-D 767 in FSX and later P3Dv3 for many years, but sadly, that add-on is no longer compatible with P3Dv4. Its quality and flight dynamics was one of the best I had ever experienced. Having moved to P3Dv4, I started missing the 767, so I had to find an airplane that was similar. My choice fell on PMDG 777, since one is the successor of the other (so I thought - logically - that they must be similar). After conducting a few flights, I have to say that knowing the systems of 767, I felt quite familiar inside the cockpit of 777. The FMCs of both planes are almost identical, which saved me…

Hello everyone. I have the pmdg 777 from quite sometime now[ I have from last month]. I also got an ops center v2 with it. Now the problem is that my ops center v1 is not able to download liveries because the ops center v1 has been outdated and pmdg doesn't use it anymore. My ops center v2 doesn't open. I submitted a ticket in the pmdg forums and after some tries the person at the support desk said that I have to reduce my dpi settings to 100% manually. If anyone of you have faced this problem and have found the solution can you help me out as well. I submitted a ticket to pmdg as well but I didn't get the solution to this problem.

I just recently bought a new system and switched over from FSX to P3dV4.5. I used the PMDG 777 back in FSX and loved it, so I purchased the P3dV.4 edition in hopes I could continue using it. Unfortunately, about 45 seconds after I load a flight with the 777, P3d crashes to my desktop with no error message. I've re-installed P3d and the PMDG 777 multiple times and the problem has not resolved. Additionally, this only seems to happen with the PMDG 777. Specs are well within PMDG's recommendations, the software is up-to-date, and the licence keys were accepted (LR/ER version). On a few checklists, I have noticed that after 10,000 ft the checklist may say PAX signs to auto or off. Does auto work as it does on the ground, and automatically turn the signs on and off (when transitioning from smooth to turbulent air in the air), or should I be putting the signs to off and manually turning them back on? I'm sure there's more than one school of thought depending on the airline, but wasn't sure what the more common method was. Thanks, Rajan F.

Hello guys, How is the correct procedure to save a flight with the 777 of PMDG when we are already flying ? Because i paused the simulator, i saved the panel state then i saved the flight. But when i load the flight again after opening FSX again, the 18 seconds delay to initiate the panel state make me loose thousands of feets. Not very professionnal !! How do you do ? Hi there, when watching real-life cockpit landings of Boeing 777 I have noticed that whenever pilot moves the yoke, the movement of the aircraft happens with some .5-1s delay. When I move the yoke in FSX while langing, there is immediate reaction by the plane with no delay - why is it so? I though of PMDG to make this input delay more realistic. There is "input delay" when using aerosoft product a319 - however it is not done perfectly - actually when you move your desktop joystick - the aircraft makes a movement with delay - but actually it is the joystick that moves in the virtual cockpit with the delay, the movement by the aircraft is almost instantenous when in-cock…

Hi, I am having stutters with my 777 on final. Whenever there is a callout there's a stutter, so I decided t disable them and... no stutters, but I don't know when to flare so I end up slamming her into the ground and getting -500fpm... Recently I have been successfully using Navigraph and Active Sky for navigation and weather on my B737NGX and since I started flying the B777 they do not seem to automatically attached to it. Do each of these add-ons have to be reconfigured, or should they just work when normally when launching other aircraft??

Just bought the 777, definitely the best purchase I’ve made for flight simulation. Everything is working great other than holds. When I try to program a hold, it appears as a circle on the ND, and the LNAV ends up flying a circle pattern instead of what I programmed it to do. What also happens is that I program the hold, it appears as a proper “race track” on the ND, but the LNAV still flies a small circle pattern regardless. I’ve seen videos where people do exactly what I do with the FMC and they get a perfect hold on the spot. Can someone please explain to me what I could be doing wrong, and how I can properly fly a hold in the 777?

I am attempting to do an airway Intercept as described in the PMDG 777 Flight Crew Operations Manual pages 11.42.13 - 11.42.15. I have set up the scenario so I’m at 15,000’ just north of BANDR proceeding direct to EPH exactly like the example in the manual. When I display the RTE page 2/2 it looks identical to the manual. When I attempt to enter V2 in LSK 1L as described I get an “invalid entry” in the scratch pad and can proceed no further with the exercise. I am flying with autopilot and LNAV and VNAV engaged. I can’t see any reason this won’t work. Has anyone had similar experience? Can anyone shed some light on why this isn’t working? Thanks, Don Spence

After continuous successful no problem operation of the PMDG B77-200LR for some time I have recently experienced an issue where after loading the aircraft at a location in a cold and dark state I am unable to select switches or dial knobs on any panel. Nothing has been changed or tweaked that I know of since the last successful flight a couple of days ago and for some reason issue has just appeared. Are there any switches or adjustments that could result in the cursor, which still is active, not carrying out its normal functions? I have changed PMDG aircraft a couple of time to see if it a specific aircraft and all had the same problem. I exclusively use PMDG Boeings but …

After performing a long haul flight in the PMDG 777 and switching from APU power to ground power for the turn around, it is protocol to leave the battery on when connected to ground power, or is the battery turned off? I've recently noticed a new option in the NGXu where you can assign a separate tiller axis to the rudder axis and replicate the real aircraft controls. The next logical step was to dive into the 777 to setup the same system, but there was nothing there. I went through the PMDG manual, but couldn't find anything. Is this a feature that's available on the 777 as well or no? If not, is there any plan to bring it in a future update? Seems like a small thing, but I am absolutely in love with it! Thanks! Hi I got PMDG 777 but when I try to load it in it just doesnt want to work. If I select the plane It wont let me chose a gate or stand it only gives me a active runway option and when i try to change weather or airport to start the flight I have to press ALT on my key board just to open the page. I also have the PMDG 737 and it works fine it doesnt give me this problem. Thanks

Hey all... new user here on the 777-200LRX. I have an FMC issue where I accidentally selected an arrival runway in the FMC that is for the departure field. I was departing CYHZ going to KBUF and instead of RW24 at KBUF i selected RWY23 at CYHZ in the DEP ARR. The FMC would not let me delete the runway selected (in this case RW23) and change my destination to my destination KBDL and RW24. What is the trick to change the destination airport in the FMC? New to the PMDG 777.
