PMDG 777

Hello, I recently got the 777 by pmdg and for some reason every time during the climb portion of the flight all the displays turn black. I tried restarting the apu, turning on and off the battery but nothing seemed to work there weren’t even any warnings and the engines didn’t even turn off and the only thing that functioned was the little flight display next to the primary one and the fmc i really adore this plane I would be very grateful if anyone could help, thx and hav a nice day!

Hello, im sorry for asking this but i don't even understand how i load fuel in the 77l at p3d v4.4. I rode the manual, it says in the FMC display, but where? If i use gsx to load fuel, gsx says that i have to use the fuel load system by the airplane, but what is the system? greetings

Hello, I recently had an experience in the 777 that I have never, ever had with any aircraft before, ever. So I was on a 5 mile final to my destination airport, fully established on the ILS and configuring for landing. I slowed to Vref + 5 as I always do and started extending the flaps on schedule. Only this time I got a bit distracted and didn't notice that the aircraft slowed to Vref much faster, possibly due to strong headwinds. Due to this, the aircraft reached its final landing speed while at flaps 20, and as soon as I spotted this I immediately extended flaps 30. So recently I've found a rather strange and annoying issue when landing the 777, both the 200LR and 300ER. This is in P3Dv4.1 777 version 1.10.8448. So I fly most approaches manually but with the autothrottle engaged. Upon touchdown, it seems that sometimes the airplane doesn't quite register it is on the ground. I hear the speedbrakes coming up, but the PFD speedtape glitches between NO VSPD and how it normally is during flight. At this point the nose is still up and the aircraft is not decelerating even though the throttles have come to idle. I also cannot seem to activate the reversers either. Hi Everyone, I've just tried to take off in the 777-200, power was set and I was rolling, then the power reduced by itself. I aborted the takeoff and went and did engine runs just to make sure it wasn't my throttles playing up and the same thing happened. Any advice would be great.

Hi, I am experiencing this weird problem with my GS (ground speed) everytime i put my throttle to idle it decelerates rapidly. According to pilots i know, when the aircraft has a momentum during taxi and put the throttle to idle, the GS will slowly decelerate. Also, when i tap the breaks it decelerates rapidly as well. I dunno if this is a PMDG bug or what. I have FSUIPC 5 installed and i cant figure out the problem. I hope someone can help me. Thanks, Francis

I always get the "Don't sink" warning during the landing, and the aircraft status are good, on the localizer and glideslope, how to solve it??

I cannot get a panel state that starts with the barometer in inches. I know I can change it by turning the baro knob, but why can't I start a panel state with it already set to inches? I have tried to save a panel state that way but when it gets loaded, the knob is on inches but during the loading process, it clicks back to hPa. Every panel state does that. George Nacino

Was flying a late night flight in my PMDG FedEx B777-200F from Kandahar Airbase, Afghanistan (OAKN) to Dubai International Airport, UAE (OMDB). As I am descending towards Dubai at FL200 all of the sudden I notice that my PFD, ND, EICAS display, and lower EICAS all freeze. The simulator is still functioning, and the plane is still descending, but all displays freeze. Something's very wrong right? I try moving the yoke to disengage the A/P... after all it may be a similar situation that unfortunately happened to AFR447. But when I move the yoke, nothing happens. There is no response. Dear sir/madam, After a long period of performing ILS approaches we started recently to perform RNAV approaches with the PMDG 777. A/T, FD, LNAV and VNAV on. However we encountered some problems here. Every time when we reach the MDA the A/T will increase throttle so the descent has to be aborted because the plane does not descend anymore. We use a throttle quadrant but at that moment the levers are on idle. Surely we do something wrong but we can not figure it out at this moment. Can someone help us with this? Many thanks in advance. Hi, Everytime i apply the power and put it on idle the GS decelerates without braking. Is this normal? thanks, francis

Hi, I started learning liners in 2014 with the 777 for FSX, then due to real life constraints had to stop end 2014. Now I'm on P3Dv4.3 I'm curious to try and learn the Airbus philosophy with an A320 but finally because time and budget are limited I'll stay on Boeing which I'm familiar with and like. I have been aware of the 777 (&737 NGX) update available via the Operations Centre for sometime now. I have attempted to update the 777 via this method but have not been able to do so successfully. I have searched this forum for help but cannot find a concise set of instructions for updating an already installed, downloaded version, of the 777 (&737 NGX), including, as I believe, the un-installation of the existing version. Can anybody provide such a set of instructions for FSX? Thanks John Earl

Flew out from OMDB(r/l) on Tuesday night on KLM to EHAM. All kudos to the PF for handling a tricky high crosswind landing on 06. Late, late last night tried to replicate this same flight after getting the correct Regn repaint.What a surprise that my sim flight was precisely as in r/l. Same CLs, step-ups, etc. This aircraft and the P3D combination was spot-on replicating that flight to more or less exact ETA.Kudos too to PFPX for generating the exact same routing for the flightplan, and to AivlaSoft's EFBv2 flight tracking.

Hi, I am having a problem whenever i tap my toe brakes on my CH rudder pedals or press PTT on my saitek. Everytime i step on the brakes or press the ptt it disengages the parking brake. i had the same problem on my dash 8 and found a fix for it. I tried the same entry (parking_brake_linked_to_toe_brakes = 0) on my pmdg 777 aircraft.cfg but it didnt work. i hope someone can help me. Thanks, Francis

Hello, Now that the update for the 747 is complete and available, will there now be an update in the works for the 777? If I remember correctly there was a forum post a while ago asking if the gear and gear-door movement will be smoothed out like it is now on the 747?
