PMDG 777

Hello, This is the first time I post a topic on this forum, and it is to send you a problem of elevation on the airports of FMEE, FMCZ. Indeed, several incidents have been reported at the FSDG developer regarding the runway elevation problem only on PMDG aircraft, in this case B777-300, B737-800. The developer to confirm that it was not a beug of their scenes but a problem on PMDG planes. To describe the problem, I appear to hit an invisible wall just as the aircraft enters the runway threshold and lands hard on the runway (always a crash if detection is enabled). This happened in FSX and it happens in P3D v4.3. When I start the flight, APU on, turn fuel tanks on, turn hydraulics on auto in the proper sequence eg right, left, C2, C1, then push on C2, on C1. When I start the engines, they fire up all the gauges are good, it shows them spooling up. Then I'm ready to taxi, push the levers forward, The throttle position arc on both throttles move. the right engine spools up, but not the left. If I look at the upper panel, the left engine light is illuminated off. It is left of the APU, under the bleed air. The button is pushed in the on position. I can't figure out what is wrong. Good day I have a question. After landing is it compulsory to start the APU and later on to connect to ground plugs or the APU can be skipped and the airplane is able to connect to ground directly? Thanks for your answer!

Hi All, I'm new to this product, and generally very impressed. However, there are a couple of glaring errors, and I'm interested to know if others have noticed them! During an Autoland, with all aircraft systems operating correctly, "Land 3" should be displayed on the Primary Flight Display at 1500' Radio Altitude. The PMDG 777 does display this correctly. However, with a message of "No Land 3" on the EICAS, the Primary Flight Display should display "Land 2" at 1500 feet. Likewise, for a "No Autoland" message on the EICAS, the Primary Flight Display should show "No Autoland" at 1500'. These messages indicate the level of autopilot redundancy, and …

Hi all Just want ask and find out why the PMDG B772 dose not have the PMDG Service Vehicles as the B774....? I found quite surprising that the that the PMDG B772 dose not support or has the same ground services as the B747-400, have bought the B772 i was expecting the same PMDG Service Vehicles as the B774 to my surprise it dose not i have checked on there website just in case i have done something wrong, but this is not the case, could it be i have the base package of the B772? Is PMDG going to update the B772 to have the same ground support as the B774? (PMDG Service Vehicles). Thanks for your time.

So im creating this to figure out if im doing everything correctly. This is about the 777 and the "ROUTE" request feature. I have noticed a few things with this feature that i feel are not even close to accurate. For example lets say in sim brief I set my Extra Fuel, my cargo and my passengers. I then Generate my OFP(Flight plan) and download it threw the "ROUTE" feature. My 777 downloads data in the PERF INT page that doesn't even remotely match my Sim Brief flight plan, I'm not anywhere near an expert here but im pretty sure it is suppose to copy it correct? I also notice that the altitude my Flight plane gives me doesn't match what my 777 wan…

Dear Forum Members, I recently bought the PMDG 777X Base Package and installed it on my P3D v4. But the Aircraft won't load up completely. I can't press any knobs, the Displays are black and the landing gear is invisible. Also I didn't got any activation window to type in the serial number. Then I tried everything to fix the problem (Updated the product to the latest version, reinstalled SimConnect, reinstalled the PMDG 777 and the P3D, deletet old registry entries). Now I don't know how to go on. I hope you can help me. Thank you!

Title says it all. Anywhere and I mean anywhere I land I get caution terrain warning over and over and over until I land. Oh and on top of that when Im about 500 feet above the RWY I get "PULL UP" in red. Im full flaps 30. VREF Landing speed and gear down.

I wonder is there is another way to navigate and tick the items in the Checklist, I tried more than one mouse and still difficult to bring the Cross to the time and click, the mouse cursor disappears as soon as I enter in the detached Lower DU. Any ideas?

Hi, I am trying to figure out how to set up a basic ILS for the PMDG 777. The manual and other sites have not been too helpful. I know how to set it up with the QW757 and Level-D 767, but the 777 is more complex. With the QW757 and Level-D 767, I tune in the runway frequency and then the heading and hit LOC, (as I recal). Does it work the same way with the PMDG 777? Or more involved.

Don't know about the rest of but 20 yrs of simming seem we go into different phases , years just flying bush,and with the scenery now it is really awesome, then maybe general aircraft here and there and a period of jets. Myself i try to stay away from the big boys like LAX ,Frisco and so on ,they drag my rig down and airports are for me are too big .Just built a new rig so i fiquered since i hardly use the mouse for anything with a pile of Go-Flight modules and configured with the GO-Flight interface tool after years of just using the 737NG i'd try this 777 .When i first seen the panel on my screen after putting it in i said "Oh my what did i just waste my money on …

Hi folks, today I was about to start a flight from CYUL-KEWR in the 777 just for fun. I selected the airport, airframe and AS16 in P3D and when i went to start the flight, I was asked to input the activation key for my 777X. I found this odd as I had done a flight a couple weeks back. I found my key, copied and pasted it and when I pressed the 'Activate' key, I got this Error: ERROR: Activation library handle failed - (50003, 71000, 10104) Any thoughts on what this could be? I havent done anything differently recently. I haven't even flown in the last 4 weeks, and the last time I did, it went uneventfully. Thanks, Robert Diaz

Hi My name is Emre. i bought a PMDG 777-200 base package 1/30/2016. I reinstall and activated PMDG 777-200 base package yesterday but i just find a tutorial pdf in operation center program. I want to all pdf files. what should i do?

I have done a number of flights lately and on every one the Auto Step Climb doesn't seem to be working. I start at the initial cruise altitude and come back at the end of the flight and I am still at that altitude. I program the step climbs in the legs page with an "S" after the altitude and the altitudes show throughout the legs page correctly, but no climb is made. I believe everything is up to date, I am kind of at a loss as this worked fine a while ago. Joe O'Connell

IN PMDG 777 capturing glideslope before localiser is off in default setting. Does anyone know in real life, is this option available for pilots or do they always have to capture localiser before glide slope? Thanks

Good day all. I am trying to identify the reason of pitch issue. The aircraft keeps climbing and it is very difficult to level it off. After takeoff she starts climbing about 3000-5000 fpm while hands flying. When I try to push the yoke she barely reacts and keeps climbing losing speed. When I finally level off and release the yoke the aircraft tends to climb again. Using trim does not help at all. When I engage the A/P everything slowly returns to stable climb. On final decent when I discontent the A/P she starts climbing again. It is nearly impossible to pitch down. The roll and yaw axis work fine. I thought I had yoke issue. Hello, I notice that if I takeoff with exceptionally light weights during cold days, most 3rd-party performance calculators will give me de-rate takeoff thrust even smaller than the climb 2 thrust (e.g.: TO2/58C), and thus I experience a thrust increase at the thrust-reduction height. Can this happen in the real world? Or does the Boeing’s official performance calculator never give a smaller-than-climb2 T/O thrust? Thank you!

I fly the 300er in the real world and cant speak highly enough of PMDG 777 its hands down the sole reason i probably get through my sims, speaking of which, i have one next week and i am doing a few procedures etc and what i have found is i save point along the way ie FL350 so i can practice multiple drift downs etc. or 5nm prior to the IAP in level flight flap 5 and flap 5 speed, however when i reload from a saved 'said' point there is a 15 sec delay whilst the the aircraft initializes and the aircraft becomes uncontrollable or at very least altitude d…

Good evening everyone! I was flying the 777 this evening heading from LAX to ATL; I was cruising at FL390 just on A/P and all of the sudden the plane violently rolled right and then left again. It kept doing this, so I turned off A/P and tried to get it straight on course again. As soon as I turned on A/P after getting on course, it began rolling off course again. Every time it would try to fix itself, it would over-do the turn and be way off course. I have had this plane for 2 years and it has never done anything like this. Any suggestions for what this could be? Thanks so much.

What's that message? I just got it today and after that, I couldn't access the FMC page in the Right CDU (This does not go for FSActions and PMDG setup). It's not something particulary bothering me, I just want to know out of curioshity. Thanks.
