hello all, during all my longhaul flights that ive done so far, my P3D started to lag after flying for about 5 or 6hrs. It doesnt crash (at least not immediately), but it starts to load for about 10 to 15 seconds (during this time the flight is stopped or paused), then it works again for maybe 5 seconds. Then it loads again for 15 seconds and stops, then works again and so on and so on. it certainly is not possible to continiue a flight when having such sort of lags or stutters. I have checked my event manager after experiencing this problem but I didnt found anything there. I have also done quite long flights with the pmdg 737 (with turnarounds) and have never exper…

Could a handful of people please load up the T7 at a default airport and indicate how much ram FSX.exe is consuming? I know that everyone has different addons that will contribute to more or less ram usage but this is just for me to get an idea of how much ram is being used. Much appreciated!

Is there a way to move those screens to another monitor (monitors)? I don't find clarity of text very good in virtual cockpit. It's rather small and I would like to use dedicated monitors for PFD/PND and EFIS/Checklists

I guess I never really paid attention before, but I was recently a passenger on a 777-300 from Singapore to London. While preparing for landing, I looked out of the window and the wow-factor of seeing flaps 30 really hit me. This is a work of art from a beautiful airplane. The PMDG model comes very close, but from the passenger viewpoint,it's amazing. Of course now, I'll have to take the 777 from PMDG up again for a spin.

Hello all, I've been messing with V1 and Vr cuts with RTOs the past few hours. Has anyone had their autobrakes successfully engage for an RTO? With my aircraft on the ground, above 85 knots, and pulling the throttles back to idle only results in an amber autobrakes message for me, forcing me to manually brake instead. Maybe I'm missing a step. Thanks.

Hello, I have searched many forums and not found any solution to the issues I'm having. I am having an issue with the brakes on the PMDG 777. I use Saitek Rudder Pedals and use default settings for toe brakes (Meaning I haven't messed with null zones, sensitivity, etc. since setting up the brakes). While taxiing, taking off, and landing, I always get a "Brake Temp" warning followed by a "Tire Press" warning even if I had not touched the brakes once. On landing, the autobrakes are set appropriately for the landing, but do not engage the brakes at all even though they still show the setting they are set to (1, 2, 3, etc.). Over the past few weeks (and months), there have been numerous threads and posts regarding calculating performance figures in the PMDG 777-200LR/F, especially takeoff figures including assumed temperatures and V-Speeds. In those threads that I participated in, I mentioned the use of numerous manuals, such as the FCOM and FPPM to gain some figures for take-off performance. Hi, I've picked up P3D and the PMDG 777-300ER and 200LR Base Pack a couple days ago and WHENEVER I do a flight from KLAX to YSSY or vice versa, the sim ALWAYS stops working no matter what! Hellow! Cesar Wilkins here! I just got the venerable 777 from PDMG a few hours ago. Now im trying to do my maiden flight. I cant use the Zoomed left outboard DU, no plus sign over it, so cant make it bigger... And the others DUs works but cant be moved around!!!. I dont have a 32inch or so monitor so to see the altitud is almost imposible unless i zoom too close the VC. Sorry for any bad english. Hope is just a CFG line that needs to be corrected!. Any suggestions???

I have PMDG 777 base. When I try and enter the cabin from behind the cockpit 3d view I am outside the aeroplane and there is no cockpit. How do I go into the cockpit? If I press "S" or "A" I go out of the plane and can see the cabin through the passenger windows. I do not have a camera package. Also how do I access the cabin doors that the manual describes? I keep running out of virtual memory when flying over London with the PMDG. The FSX closes. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening? Can I alter the FSX config file to help the simulator continue to run. I spent half an hour setting up the PMDG flight and the sim ran out of memory soon after takeoff over London, I lost all my FMC/Aircraft configuration. What is the best way to not run out of virtual memory?

Hi everybody! This morning, I woke up finding my PMDG 777 both engines shut down, starting its inescapable descent towards the pacific ocean... I took of the night before from NZAA, and was planning to land in KLAX today at around noon, after a good night of sleep... According to my Flight Planner, my block fuel should be 124 tonnes... It seemed quite sufficient to me since only 88 tonnes were planned for the trip, the rest was contengency, alternate, ETOPS ... So I woke up, no more fuel on board, both engines off, APU obvisouly unresponsive, and had about 5 or 10 minutes to restart both engines before the crash (even though it would've brought the realism lev…

I am headed to Miami in mid-February and will book two hours in a 777 Level D full motion simulator. I've done this many times and it is great to test out our skills we mastered on our PMDG 777 and apply them to a $17 million full motion 777 sim. If you are real good in your PMDG 777 sim, you should have no problem landing this plane. If anyone wants to join me, let me know. We can do 4 hours total: 2 hours each n the left seat flying and 2 hours in the right seat. It is a bit costly, $1000 per person - but it is a real thrill.

Have FSX many years now and think that MS won't go forward. Flew a lot of long hauls with PMDG's B777-200LR and although liked very much to fly short routes with business jet I became a fan of this product with its many options to assign keyboards to work as button and it's my very best airplane. I bought Prepar3D v4, updating to v4.2 and would like very much to have this splendid aircraft. If I buy PMDG's 777-200LR for Prepar will it work in v4.2 or I'll need to make any kind of upgrade/update? Tks and sorry if this was answered somewhere but it's my 1st experience with Prepar3D4 (never had any Prepar before).

In videos I always see the hydraulic pumps turned on before the engine start. Today I see a PMDG 777 tutorial by a real 777 pilot who turns on hydraulic pumps after the engines are started. Do it make a difference in the sequence or when to turn on hydraulic primary and demand pumps?

Friends, I'm having a hard time trying to locate the night cabin textures for the PMDG 777. I'm working on custom cabin textures for a couple of repaints I am doing. I found the daytime textures and edited those accordingly, but the night-time textures are flying over my head. Does anyone know what they're named and where I can find them? I'm hoping to change the color of the cabin lighting and making sure the aesthetics in the cabin at night match those during the day. Thanks in adance!

When I load up the PMDG 777 in multiplayer for fsx:Steam, I get black monitors and no landing gear. Also nothing is clickable and there is no initialization. I would really like to fly my new PMDG 777-200LRX and 777-F. P.S. I tried multiplayer with the PMDG house livery.

My only jet is the NGX 737 ,if I decide to get the 777 how real is this for me - I’m not into long hauls ,1 to 2 hours max for a flight and that’s it for me .Also I like going into to strips about 7 to 8 thousand feet long and smaller airports like Fort Mac Murray - Yellowknife ,places like that and not demanding as much on frames compared to places like Friso and L.A. . Also I run about 8 or so Go-Flight modules that are set up with Polly pots Interface module so then I would be able to add this bird to it to be able to use the buttons and switches.So my question is with what i just told you, is this reality to fly this 777 or is it made for long hauls and wouldn’t be a…
