Hello everyone, I keep getting notification of version 1.10.8448, but I keep pressing update, it download the file, it opens a "dos like window" and seems like everything is ok, but then everytime I open the Operation center i keep getting the same update notification an the installed version is still 1.0.8395. For those who are unaware the documentation for the original 747-400 QOTS for FS9 and FSX contained a section for cruise planning. This section contained various cruising altitudes from FL30 (30,000 ft) to FL41 (41,000 ft) and their optimal and maximum aircraft weights in both pounds and kilograms. My question is does the 777 documentation contain something similar? I did a quick search through the documents and found nothing. Ryan Cornett

I know many have reported parking brake issues and it's mostly due to operator error. Now, I might be in the same boat, but here's the possible issue: The action of assigning a USB device axis to Throttle Reversers axis causes the brakes to always be ON yet the parking brake lever is in the OFF position in the VC. As shown in the video below you can see that after I make the axis assignment and return to VC and do nothing other than click on the parking brake lever ... its locked in the OFF position ... note reversers have NOT been activated. Hi all. One year ago i bought the 777 LR/F and installed it on P3D ver 2.5 . When i bought there was not warning about any version of P3D and .... the version 4 doesn't exist in December 2016!! Today i went to PMDG's 777 page to buy the expansion and i found the warning about P3D ver 3 and 4. The base version of the Big Bird is working great on POO3D ver 2.5 but now i need to know if the disponible upgrade to 300 will do same. Thank You.

Hi Everyone I am having an issue the last month or so where the majority of my B777 flights are crashing to the desktop during the pre flight. I used to be able do flights to and from my FSDT and Flightbeam sceneries in the USA no issues but now for some reason I cannot get one through the pre flight phase. No problems with my PMDG B738 at the same airports. No changes made recently and very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Tim Carter

Hi, I have just brought the PMDG 777 and settings it up to my liking. I normally use AES to control my jetways, however in UK2000's Gatwick V4 AES is not available. So when I press Ctrl+J the Jetway is below the door. I know how to fix this, I just need someone to give me the correct "exit locations" in the aircraft.cfg. Please could someone give me the co-ordinates? -Merry Christmas & Happy new year Ollie!

Hey guys, Everytime I start FSX and select the 777, the window with the activation key opens. So I enter the key and click on "activate". But now, it says 'error' and tells me that I need to check my internet connection and that it can't connect to the activation server. Guys I need help because I want to fly this beautiful aircraft!

Hello everyone. I have recently bought the PMDG 777 for P3D v4. Once installed, I double-checked that the nav data was up-to-date on my plane and sure enough it was. But what was odd about this was when I went to the "IDENT" section, I received the message saying: "NAV DATA OUT OF DATE" This was strange because I looked above the message and it said that I was using the most up to date cycle which is currently 1713 as I am typing this. I also checked the Navdata files in the 777 and that even says that it's on cycle 1713. I find it irritating and I am wondering if there are any solutions to this minor problem? Any help would be gratefully appreciated…

Hello fellow captains: I recently got back to the 777 in P3D V3.4 after being away. When I was taxiing, I noticed that the airplane, at zero payload and short range fuel setting, will stop rather quickly at idle thrust. When I was away, I asked a real life 777 first officer on breakaway thrust. He said that the aircraft, even at heavy weight, will start moving forward at idle. This is obviously not the case with the 777 here in P3D. I recall reading something about the rolling friction model and how PMDG intentionally made it so that the aircraft won't move without adding thrust. But shouldn't the aircraft keep rolling at lightweight with the throttle at idle if the …

I can fly the aircraft I can land the aircraft but once I do no matter how much power I put on she won't roll am I forgetting something or doing something wrong Ive been out a few months it's like the wheels are made of concrete she is a dream till I touch down then she just stops and refuses to move. I'm posting here in hopes someone may help me figure this out, or even upload your GSX 777F configuration file. I believe this is more of a GSX problem: I've never had issues in the past. I'm used to cargo being loaded into the main deck (Large rear left door) and aft lower cargo door. I've auto-updated several times since the FSDT Auto-updater has been going on, and today I noticed when I call for the aircraft to be loaded I not only get the vehicles carrying the two loads of cargo, I get two additional empty trucks and trailers, as well as two passenger luggage vehicles which appear and drive around the aircraft aimlessly before disappearing. I performed an RTO, which caused the brakes to overheat and deflate. But upon using the FMC to fix the failures, it didn't work... So I went to Menu -> PMDG Setup -> Aircraft -> Failures -> Active: 14 LSK R6 (CLEAR ALL) -> Exec The brake pressure gets reset to 200, but the brake temp is never fixed, so the brake pressure plummets down to 0 again. Something I am doing wrong, or a bug? Regards Craig

Today I use the PMDG push back facility for the first time, and I am seeing strange behavior, a bug of some kind. I was wondering whether anyone else is also seeing this or it's a known problem. I was at the EGLL (UK2000) and set my push back distance to 88 Ft, upon selecting turn nose left from the default right at 50 degree, the push back distance changed to 206 FT and I can no longer change it. Once I start the push back, sometime the plane would move forward rather than backward and I had to apply brakes. One other time the push back keep going way past the selected distance and I cannot do anything to stop it. Has anyone else seen this? I am using the 777 i…

Good evening, I'm having random, but frequent crashes of P3D when I click on T7 pop-up panels in VC. There are no signs of an error in the Event Viewer, P3D just crashes without a sound. The two most recent "incidents" occurred today and yesterday when I clicked on right MFD and right Radio-Stack pop-up panels. Yesterday I completed full T7 reinstall just be sure that I have the most recent version. Such behavior does not occur with ether NGX or 747, it's mere T7 that has been affected. Also, I'm aware that T7 was suffering from left PFD pop-ups crashes in the past and I presume that this problem has been fixed since then. However, in my situation it hasn't been a ca…

Hello, I seem to have a very unstable 777 set up. I do not have the PFD pop-up option enabled, but seem to get CTD without error messages very frequently (1 out of 3 flights). It can happen anywhere in the flight (1hr to 6hrs) It doesn't seem to happen with other aircraft, just the PMDG 777 (200LR or 300ER). I'm using: P3D 3.4 Windows 64 Home Creators Active Sky 2016 w/ ASCA (v6452) Ultimate Traffic Live (1.0.0.30) Is there a best practice around finding out what's causing this? Hi everybody, I have a persisting problem with both the 777 and the 747v3. When I start at an airport, put in a route, take off and then at some point choose an alternate to divert to, as described in the title, I get a CTD, as soon as I hit "divert now" on the ALTN page. I get something similar with the 747v3 when I type in another destination on the RTE page. The thing that bothers me (on top of the fact that CTDs are of course annoying): It´s not always like that. Hi all, todays evening i made a flight from Dubai to lol Dubai because of a pack L+R failure. At the end of the checklist where one of the last items is to set both outflow valve switches to manual my master caution light could not be reset anymore. It didn't matter what i did even a A/T disc. could not bring the master caution light to turn off. I am very aware that my description is vauge for a reproduction but more i can not say.

Just wanted to ask if PMDG can do something about the message I receive each time I open up the Ops Center & download/install updates: "Your system is currently set for a non-standard DPI. PMDG Ops Center does not currently support high DPI scaling". Much appreciated. BTW: I think the Ops Center is an ingenious product integration. Well done! Rgds, Steve

Okay - So i will stipulate that I'm a little off if ya'll stipulate I'm not crazy. ;-) I've been driving the 777 (PanAM &/or TWA livery) for the past 2 months or so... I've had a menu item in P3Dv4 called "RAAS" AND I've been able to load the 777 (any livery) as a default AC with an add-on scenery APT (KSFO to be exact). And yes, I know you're not suppose to be able to ...
