Will be setting this up this morning, and just thought to post the latest on the LM download site. P3D v3.2.3

After about 5 hours into an ORBX install marathon...I finally got a few flights in..and I like the version very much. It is very, very smooth and stutter-free, but does reduce my FPS as seen with P3D v2.4 by about 10 FPS. In the same scenes, that I get 32 nominally with v2.4, I am getting around 22-25 at KORS, etc. Still though...delivered very smoothly. I still prefer to have HDR both off in both P3D versions...but generally, it's a keeper! I actually prefer the water in v2.4 to the water in v3.2.3, but that is of course a personal taste issue. All in all, no major complaints...and will certainly add this version to my run-list. Post Edit: Just one …

Just wondering if anything can be done to make the frameratedrop less that with rain. I don't now if the drops themselves can be made a little smaller. Or if the distance between each drop could be increased. Or both. Or something else...

Gents: I don't know what else to do or how to proceed; but after upgrading PD3 V3.2, the terrain textures hardly become sharp. They remain blurred for most part , and barely sharpens. I have increased the LOD within CFG to 8.5, and tried several Level of Detail from within the Simulator built in settings; I have set FFTF=0.01 and .10 No sure What else to do to fix this. My Spec: Intel 6700K, Nvidia 970 Graphics Card, 900GB SSD, Windows 7, and 16 Gb RAM. I recall under V3.1 scenery would become sharp almost instantly, but not with V3.2, and this is a huge turn off.. Hi there, After doing REX updates, I decided to delete the shaders folder (at C:\Users\<YOU>\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\Shaders). Lots of rebuilding time going on, so I let it go. Eventually after rebooting and loading p3d I was able to go to any airport of choosing but only in the default f22. When clicking on the vehicle menu, at first the HD was going going going(!) but nothing showing up as listed. I tried again rebooting and loading a couple more times but the same result occured. I have waited even 20 mins but nothing showing in the vehicle menu. Now when I load p3d and go to the vehicle menu, same thing but my HD isnt doing anything dis…

Hey all anyone please help me i am REALLY Desperate. so i have saitek pro flight panels and their drivers (SPAD) requires FSUIPC to work.so i installed it fine when i first go it and all was working marvelously. yesterday i decided i would try to manually install FS-Recorder in P3D V3.2 it didnt work and suprisingly FSUIPC also stopped workingso i removed fs-recorder and tried to sort fsuipc out. so what i tried: 1.i removed the files from the modules folder and the DLL.XML entry and re-installed it,it said installed okay but still not working. 2. i renamed my original dll.xml file and re-ran the installer. still nothing. 3.i created a new dll.xml file and installe…

Hello again.. So I've now got another problem with P3D, a few days ago when I looked for an outside view when I was in cruise flying, instead of having normal contrails I had these weird black squares as P3D couldn't find any textures for the contrails, I've read some other posts about this and thought it might be because I was missing some files in my effects folder, so I checked for the smoke fx and they were all there.. I even got to the point where I installed FSX again and tried to copy the files from there though without any luck. Hello, I did a fresh install of P3Dv3 and installed some of my addons.(FTX Global, FTX Mesh, UTX Europe, My Traffic 6, and Rex 4 Direct Textures). When flying I noticed a short pause about every 5 or 6 seconds. I played with different settings thinking it might be that. Nothing worked so I uninstalled everything, reformatted the drive and then reinstalled each addon and checked to see when the pauses showed up. It turns out that after installing Rex 4 I started to get these pauses. Has anyone else encountered this or heard of it and do you know if there is a solution?

When i load into the sim i am outside the AC in outside spot view how do i change this so i load into the VC ?

Can i ask some of you Bizjet fliers, with the expected release of Orbx Telluride and Aerosofts Aspen i really wanted to get your thoughts on which jet to get. 1) Carenado`s CJ2 2) Eaglesoft`s Citation X I`m persuaded to buy Ron`s CX2 because i had the FS9 version and it was fantastic, but with the Carenado CJ2 just released i see there is some nice user updates soon to be released and i have the GTN750. Hi Folks, FINALLY !!! One of the ORBX developers (Alex) happened to post that he is actively working on a proper "East Coast" airport - which makes me very happy... KBHB - Bar Harbor ME - - - Downeast - land of the rich and famous - big time biz jets - Cape Air - rocky coast lines - lobstah pots - sea gulls - seafood - fog horns in the morning mist - light houses - the smell of pine and salty ocean breezes - and plenty of boats... I'm expanding my Air Hauler Operations in this region and am looking for some good scenery to serve as FBO's. I'll be migrating some of my older fleet into this region A300's DC9's and B732's will comprise the bulk of heavy lift operations while Fairchild F-27's and Metroliner III's will comprise the feeder operations. Airports in countries along the northern coast of South America (Ecuador to French Guyana) as well as any in Central America basically from Mexico City South through Panama, would be ideal I already have T2G MMMX extreme I don't really want to get too far south or southeast unless the quality of the scenery is high enough that its justified.…

Hi everyone I just wanted to find out if anyone is spanning P3D over three x 4K screens and if there are any issues in doing so Is it a case of WOW .. this is amazing or more like don't waste your money because of the poor performance of the simulator Also, can you tell me what resolution and graphics card you are running P3D in? Hi Folks, I have P3Dv3.2 - ORBX Global - No ORBX Regions - UTX2 While I've purchased a number of ORBX Regional Airports and they seem to work fine without the required regions - I was wondering if anyone has tried Monterey this way ??? I can't afford the FPS hit on my older hardware to run ORBX regions... Monterey just has a lot of coastlines and I was wondering if it would mesh up with UTX2 without any glaringly bad mismatches ??? I realize this isn't a supported configuration... Thanks... Regards, Scott

Well, after upgrading to 3.2 im having issues with fps. With both ASN and REX Texture Direct i used to have around 25-30 fps on ground and 30-55 in air. After updating im down to 15-20 on ground and 30 in the air. Almost impossible to take off and land. Tried turning off ASN in air and i got back to around 50 fps. I then played around with the weather in P3D and set it to rainy with clouds. Got down to 30-35. Any ideas why its dropping that much in 3.2? Is there any settings i can change? Edit: Im running this on Windows 7 with i7-4790K and GTX980.

Will it ever happen! I really liked to fly this and I miss using it. The B1900 is ok but it is not the QW146! Is there anything else like it? If someone has managed to get it to install and run correctly with flaps and gear and fms I would like to hear how you managed to do it! thanks

I am doing a research of all the addons i own before fully transfer to P3D I am using in FSX-SE HDEv2 for sky and clouds. Are these compatible? Just that! Thanks

I'm having trouble getting LPV verticle guidance. Verticle guides never show up on the HSI. Using GPS mode and an active LPV approach. The aircraft follows lateral guidance under autopilot but just flies right over the airport. Tried NAV and APR mode both with the same result. I must be doing something fundamentally wrong or LPV doesn't work in 3.2. Hopefully someone who successfully has flown an LPV can give me a scenario and a couple pointers so I see how the GTN works with the A2A autopilot.
