Hi Using the PMDG 737, at night with landing lights on the color of the light on the runway looks weird. http://i.imgur.com/hNRZCVp.jpg Is it supposed to look like this? Kinda looks rainbowcolored. Also, why cant i see the lights from the aircraft on the runway/taxiway when its dusk? Can only see the lights when its night.

Hi Guys after loading up UT2 - as usual went in and tweaked xml.exe - etc. - well all kinds of error messages Well I was reading thru some posts and noticed Rob mentioned not placing anything in xml.exe file so on a whim I uninstalled UT2 - re-installed UT2 and touched nothing and it worked perfectly with the latest Estonia migration tool So if you have the latest development version all you do is enable it before you install UT2 and do nothing - how easy is that - make sure you are using the Development Build not the other one listed - thought I would pass this on - cool no more messing around for now anyway Development Build Migration tool installer …

Hi all, Running 2.5, if I install LatinVFR KSNA it hangs my scenery load "Creating autogenerated scenery" at 78%. I have to completely remove it from the P3D directory structure to get it to work again. Any idea why that might be? I already deleted the Shaders so that's not it. Gregg

Ok so I have Fs Global Mesh Ftx version. I had this installed in v2 no problems. I have been trying to install this in v3.0 3.1 and now 3.2. I have tried download version and I also have the download version sent to me on DVDs from FSS and downloaded the installer for version 3. I unzip the package and try to install but when installer is done I only get around 4 to 11gb on install. I know is supposed to be around 22gb. I have plenty of space on the drive I am installing on. I used Winzip Winrar and 7 zip to extract zip files. I used download managers like GetRight and Internet Download Manager. I used the DVDs to load the bin files and extract the v3 installer an…

I am currently on 3.0 and want to update to 3.2.3. Can I just download the current update and install or do I need to install the incremental ones before 3.2.3? Thx P.

I am on a process of reinstall everything with the new 3.2.and new W7PRO. I am really scared to loosing time and do it wrong, it will take some days to do so, if I need to start dealing with the support ticket it will take forever. In order to don't loose activation, I need to uninstall or the deactivate some software. Hope that someone can confirm or have advice. Just happened to click on Change view/ Aircraft this morning and was stunned to see 3 options in Spanish. "ala derecher" - translation left view, "ala quierda" - translation right view and "cola" - translation queue or behind view. My P3D V3.2.3.16769 is English so why is this obscure set of commands in Spanish? Went back to flying and clicked on Change View - cockpit and 4 of 6 commands also now in Spanish. :Shame On You: LM - someone goofed

I have scrached my head for days for this issue. I instlled both FSX Box and Steam, when running FTX confiurator, it only shows Microsoft FSX, so I uninstalled the FSX Box. Now the FTX Configurator can't find the FSX (Steam only now). I used the FSX registry fix doen't help, and checked the REGEDIT find that there is no more Microsoft Games/FSX, only Dovtail FSX. can somone please help how to fix this issue. Many thanks.

Hi, My CDU II from VrInsight has stopped being found with the VRSim.exe software and i am a little lost here. I know it uses FSUIPC but i dont know if it has something to do with that ? I also get this 50 secoinds warning from simconnect from time to time. Do you also have this warning? Help apreciated Thanks Michael Moe

Is anybody else suffering MAJOR FPS loss with the Aerosoft Airbus' in P3dv3? I can get a comfortable 30fps (locked at 30) with default a/c sat at UK2000 Heathrow Xtreme with ASN, FTX, Vector, Open LC and a decent level of UT2 traffic, but the minute I switch the a/c to the 'bus I am down to 7-10 FPS. This surely can't be right?! I was using it in FSX with little issue, but it's literally ruining my P3d experience

Hello all! Wasn't sure where to ask this, so figured since it's 'generally' referring to my use of P3D, I would ask here! I have been using FSX:SE but a few weeks back switch to P3D (a good choice I have found!). I am going to join a VA and need to install FSUIPC for P3D. Now I already have it installed for FSX. Can I install a second FSUIPC for P3D or is there a way to configure the current install to P3D? Just want to make sure I do it right and not screw anything up. Thanks for any info! Gord

Whenever I forget to acknowledge something ProATC asks if I heard him or her: Affirm please. I noticed I cannot simply say Yes by pressing 2: I first have to say Say again, listen to ATC once more and only then I can confirm. Shouldn't it be possible to simply confirm right after hearing Affirm please? Do others have this same (small) issue? I asked this on the ProATC forum but I won't get any support over there because I don't want to post my real full name on the forum. (So if you plan on buying this addon take note that in order to receive support your full name has to be made known for all the world to see, even when you are a verified ProATC customer and user!)

Sooooo, I bought Orbx FTX Global Base back in August of last year. Just discovered tonight that the installer I have doesn't go past P3D v2.5. I looked on their website to see if there was a updated installer for P3D v3 and couldn't find one. I logged into my flight sim store account where I bought it and I have the link to the installer to which I can download but I don't know if it will be P3D v3 compatible since I bought this back in August. I don't see any other links within my account that would suggest an update for this. Am I going to have to purchase a version of this that's P3D v3 ready?

Due to the high amount of lighting I am using now - I am getting brief stutters So I revisited DSR at 2.0 / 25% playing with the percentage due to seeing a slight washed out effect using DSR This has solved my stutters while lights pop in at distance My question is when I shut down P3D My desktop icons are rearranging themselves to left side of monitor - I played with view properties but still nothing helps I think the first time I tried DSR it as on windows 7 but appears to be working well in Windows 10 - wonder if windows 10 seems to work better using DSR Any thoughts would be much appreciated - thank you

This is a simple experiment, and the motivation for this experiment arrives from my dissatisfaction with P3D's performance when it comes to heavy cloud conditions. From just a visual evaluation, it had appeared P3D ran much more sluggishly in overcast conditions than it did in light weather, but I had never completed a quantitative analysis until now to confirm what my eyes were telling me. I'm curious to know exactly what this is and how it works. There are North America and Australia AI traffic add ons available on OrbX's forum. Is this for the default FSX AI. So if I'm using a 3rd party traffic ai program such as UT2, I will see no benefits of getting this, right?

I ran P3D v3.1 on a Windows 10 installation which was getting a bit sloppy due to all historical crap remaining in the system (Win7-->Win10 upgrade, FSX and P3D V2 remains and various other stuff). Hence over the weekend I decided to blank my system and make a nice and fresh reinstall and installing P3D V3.2 In P3D V3.1 I was getting a relatively stable and acceptable performance with addons installed of around 20fps. I now only installed P3D V3.2, FTX Global, FTX Global 2010 mesh and FTX Global Vector. The strange thing is that when I now start up P3D, I get either a nice performance of 30fps with 30fps locked or (next time I start P3D) it's around 12fps with 30…
