I have been plagued by crashes every time I hit al+enter lately. I now found out that p3d crashes on me only when msaa is at 8x. Any thoughts/ideas on why this happens ? thanks

Hi all So I wedged UT2 into P3Dv3 with EMT and all works well. I think UT2 runs schedules from 2011 by default, so if I wanted to update schedules or edit them myself and add new aircraft models/airlines, how do I do that? Is that what the PowerPack is? Hi gents, Help needed! :-) Since I installed a second GPU in SLI, fps are falling down and P3P is stuttering like never before. Driver uninstalled using DDU, latest Nvidia 364.51 installed, SLI activated via NCP, shaders deleted, new P3P.cfg created... I have tried everything to no avail. Both cards are identical, MSI GTX 980ti Gaming 6Gb and are running perfectly well. Is there any specific SLI setting in NI I should apply? Any help or idea would be very much appreciated. Hi I have just installed p3d 2.5 on an old machine- q9550, gtx560ti. With default baron at the airport I am getting smooth 35-40fps but simulator is causing slight stutter every 3 seconds or so, killing the immersion. I have tried lowering all settings yet the stuttering remains. I have used FFTF=0.1 and affinitymask=14 tweak. Using 355.6 driver. Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Just to let you know if someone wonders why the GSX selection window or SODE window will not appear after updating from P3D V3.1 to 3.2: Update of the client package is NOT sufficient in order to get SODE or GSX windows to appear with the respective hot keys. You have to update the content package as well. Then it will work. Do not forget to backup the Autogen folder in case you have custom files (such as FTX). These files will be overwritten otherwise when updating the content package. Regards, Chris

Hi all., I seem to remember that FSX and P3D would automatically change seasons on March 21 (the time and season is set to spring). Right now, flying in northern regions, I still have snow and yet sailboats are happily sailing in the waters. Did I miss something somewhere as to the season change?

I am happy with the progress of P3d but the one thing that really upsets me was highlighted when I was on the jumpseat on a 757 yesterday. Speed.. Now. When you're flying and looking out of the side window as a passenger, you don't often get a perseption of how fast you're going as there is nothing to reference until it's shooting past the window.. On the flightdeck, a different matter. When I am flying through clouds on the sim the whole moving picture is about 4 or 5 times slower than it would be in real life. Having this weird issue with the MFD and flight plans of the G1000 in my F1 Mustang. When getting clearance and inputting into EFB The SID, it throws my active waypoint to another planet and begins a chirping sound, meaning the waypoint is wayyy off the screen and there's only the active magenta line going off the whole know where and a constant chirp. The waypoint is listed ICPT and the chirping goes away if I set the next waypoint in the flight plan as the active waypoint. I've got about 50 hours with the G1000 on the DA-42 and have never had this happen. I've also tested the exact flight plan and SID in my DA-42 and it doesn't do this. The flight was from KDEN >…

Title. Is this possible? I'm on a new fresh install with P3D v3.2 and was considering purchasing UTX v2 Europe. Already have FTX Global. Is it possible to combine these two scenery packages? Will UTX appear in scenery library for instance?

Hey Guys, was wondering if any of you are having the same issue as I do with setting time. I reset time and date, for instance I set time to dawn YSSY and select aircraft etc and load sim parked at gate thou I notice looking outside that it is not dawn ? any help is appreciated . cheers Mike

I’ve always struggled to get a really great performance since upgrading from V2.5 to v3.0. I zealously read any post that has a hint of how to improve the smallest framerate and apply them, looking for that elusive ‘sweet spot.’ With the release of v3.2 I had visions of all my sliders set to max resulting in breathtaking scenery shots and highly detailed aircraft textures. It has been a while since I have updated my flight sim. With regards to the new ORBX installers are these standalone installers that can be downloaded somewhere or do they only come as part of downloading the whole scenery package again. I suffer with slow download speeds so I am hoping to avoid the latter option. If the installers are stand alone where can they be sourced. Good Morning all! I currently have a 6700k OCd at 4.9 and a 980ti running on a 27" GSync Monitor. Performance has been really good, and so far, no real complaints. I still hear people talking about the DSR and how well it performs on P3D, and I was wondering if someone could recommend me any settings to try it out? I assume that once the resolution is set to 4k, you don't run any AA anymore? I would appreciate some tips on how to set up NVI and P3D for it! Thanks a lot! Gio

Hi! Had this problem since updating to 3.0 (now running 3.2). If i open the ATC window, then later close it. If i change the view, for example the outside view the ATC window pops up again. Same happens every time i change the view. Also happens to the GSX window. How do i disable that? I still want the window, but only when im pressing a button to open it, not when changing the view.

I'm trying to make a reasonable (VAS-wide) decision regarding further purchases for my P3D and since I've been always a big fan of UT series since FS2004 times, I'm wondering whether this package (FT Global + UT USA/EU) would compensate the lack of FT Vector and FT LC (Europe). What I understood (perhaps I'm wrong here), UT is essentially "two-in-one" combo that replicates Vector + LC. I mean the following; FTX Base + FTX Vector + FTX LC EU = FTX Base + UT USA/Europe = less VAS with the former. Correct? Thank you Dmitriy

can somebody please advise if my world scenery library is in correct order thank you ok so I am confused as to why my ozx image is not showing

Was doing a test flight last night and picked a cloudy rainy default airport with the Aerosoft Airbus since the Airbus was really the only aircraft really dipping into the teens when in cloudy conditions previous to the v3.2 update. FPS started out fine around 30. But I realized as I changed view the FPS acted differently. In outside the aircraft view when I looked up at the clouds it dipped down into single digits. But in that same outside view if the camera was pointed down towards the aircraft it was smooth back at 30fps. I know since having to go back to 4xMSAA and 4XSGSS that performance would still suffer a bit but thought I may have fixed it with reducing t…
