Hi all- I've read about Process Lasso and what it can do in a few threads and downloaded it last night. I see it has the capability to set affinity masks. Can this be used to change AMs instead of the JOBSCHEDULER cfg entry in P3D? Looks like a quick and easy way to do this but was wondering if any caveats from others might be worth noting before I proceed. Cheers, Mark

Hi, As far as I know the Bonanza A36 from Carenado don't have a RMI - Route Magnetic Indicator in the cockpit... and many times when I am departing from an Airport, I need to tackle a VOR/DME arc. Many of the tutorials I find to proceed with a VOR/DME arc, requiere a RMI instrument, and I think I don't have any inside the Bonanza A36, so I am wondering if do we have any videotutorial or tutorial available showing me how to follow a VOR/DME arc without RMI? Cheers I don't see any RMI ?

One of our newer forum members started a thread a couple of days ago asking for recommendations for his first biz jet for his flightsim. He stated that he had been flying 'PMDG and A2A but nothing in between" and it would be used for his Vatsim flying. I responded with my recommendations because I read his request as 'looking for a new jet'. Others read it as 'PMDG and A2A quality' (does that even exist today?), while some interpreted it as 'He has to be asking for the ESDG Citation X' or 'the Carenado Phenom 300' or pick your favorite add on. For violations of the Avsim rules, the thread was locked so I don’t think the OP ever got a full picture of what is available…

Hello! I have just recently bought P3D so I am sorry if there is an obvious answer I am missing or something. Well, I have bought FTX Norway as it was recommended for me for my regional flying. The issue is, anywhere other than sitting on the runway, it looks terribly bad. Mind, I am not bashing the product, I am sure it's great but I think I have something messed up either with settings or with the addon itself. Anyhow, those are screenshots made around the ENTC area: As you can see, the terrain looks really bad. Can it be somehow fixed? Here are my scenery settings:

P3D 3.2.3 After install REX textures, i have lost low level clouds. I read some posts, that it is happening but i could not find reason and solution for this problem. Anyone can explain or give some hint ? BR/Artur

I hope I am doing something stupid, but I can't get the "Continue" button to work on the GTN 750 for P3d v3 in P3D v3. I have tried in the RealAir Turbine Duke, the A2A Comanche and the A2A Cherokee (all P3D v3 versions of the aircraft), in both panel installed and externally installed modes. I have redownloaded and reinstalled the Garmin Trainer Lite software and the Flight1 GTN 750 software several times, and let everything install into the default directories. I didn't see any posts on this problem, but if there already are I apologize and would appreciate being directed to the solution. Thanks! Bill Magann

A year ago or so I had a computer built specifically to run FSX. I can't even imagine how many add-on airports/planes/scenery/misc items I bought in that time. Once I had all the stuff I wanted the sim just could not run smooth. Sure there were moments when everything was great but the majority of time when takeoff/landing at the nice payware airports it all went in the tank. Nothing I tried fixed anything. My computer I think is decent enough to run FSX it's a I7-4770 Oc'd at 4.4 I have 32 GB of RAM, a GTX Titan card. Now maybe there is something hardware related I overlooked. I thought maybe moving to P3D might give me better performance but I know very little about the…

Last year ,I purchased FSGlobal 2010 and never installed. Yesterday I made a flight with PMDG 777X from KJFK-KLAX and I realized ground scenery does not look good. (I have ORBIXFTX Global+Vector) If it helps I want to install Fs-Global 2010 over Orbix FTXG+Vector to replace poor sceneries. Will it be aGOOD IDEA, or I will make huge mistake ? Thanks

I am running Flt plan Go on my PC and its connected to my P3D v3.2 and it says its sending messages. I ran the Flt Plan Go onmy Samsung Tab 3 and set the "External" to FSX/P3D and went to maps. But the position of my aircraft in my sim is not known to the map. \ There was no where I had to enter the IP address so how does the Flight plan running on my PC know to which device it needs to send the message? Any Ideas? Any ideas? Flt

Hello, After a couple of months that I have spent on tweaking I found out that I NEED 2 versions of P3D installed on my PC. One - for UTX/GEP3D and the second one is for FTX Global/FTX Vector. I have 2 questions though, 1. Even if I'm willing to purchase 2nd P3D license will it be technically possible to have 2 installations on one physical/logical drive. 2. Will the add-ones, such as PMDG or FSDT or FSUIPS be installed easily and not confused themselves regarding the second installation? Thanks

Hi everyone, I just did a review of P3D v3 which should be posted in a few days. However, I though I would also include a few comments from current customers on their impression of P3D v3. Hi, I have P3D V3.2, and I have the PA A380 installed. It works great, except for the main panel. When I press shift+1, P3D pops up with a fatal error message and shuts down. This happens as well, when I press A in the cockpit to see the panel. I need this panel to switch from nav, to GPS. Any ideas? Thanks a lot Harry Karmel

Hello. Looking through the archives when europe lc came out i saw some interesting comments. Please answer these 2 questions so i can make an informed decision. 1. Is it True that Europe lc + vector provides sharper scenery than Orbx England in England? 2. Is it True that Orbx England is harder on fps than Europe lc + Vector in England ( especially London ) 3. Hello all, Long time member of Avsim finally making the switch to P3D after using every sim sim since FS2000. I've been on and off, like a lot of you I'm sure. But I think I'm now ready to come back. To my question. I installed V3.2 and with the help from many topics in this forum am able to run it pretty smoothly on my new machine I7 6700K @4.6,GTX970. I installed a couple of airports I was using in FSX, FT CYUL, CYYZ, and although FPS are at a solid locked 30, I'm seing black textures on buildings and AI planes as I pan around. I haven't been visiting AVSIM as often as I used to, due to work commitments... (I see Elaine has changed her avatar again :wink:), ​so I'm not sure if there has been much posted about the Flight1 Cessna Mustang in P3Dv3. Has anyone had any experience with it in P3Dv3? What are your thoughts?

Hey, Does anyone know of a relatively painless way to add a single building (a castle) to a specific location in P3D? I fly a lot of Firefighter X in a region of Spain I know well, and one of the main landmarks seems to be missing... Many Thanks Graham

Has anyone else had this today? I got a pretty big windows 10 update and now FSDT software is detecting a machine mismatch? I've had several addons ask to register between P3D and Xplane 10. What gives? Anyone have any ideas why this would happen or what this update was about? Edit: My P3D crashes instantly trying to load any aircraft or airport now....
