Good Morning Guys, I have updated to 3.2 with the usual method, having updated Client and Content. I have reinstalled FTX Global Base as well. Has anyone got any idea on why the water looks like this? I have REX installed and I reinstalled one of the water themes. And while I'm at it... anyone can tell me what their Settings are for REX Texture direct? Did you tick all the boxes or not in the settings page? The quality settings are set as per Rob advise on his website. Thanks a lot! Gio

I installed the old C90B from carenado and only the instruments and windows show, all else is transparent. So I contacted Carenado and they said to insure you run as administrator, which I did, but still same thing. Any ideas? I am still awaiting from Carenado again to see if they have any ideas. Could it be something with the v3.2 client and content install? Anyone have this issue with another AC? Bob

Having a major bummer experience for the first time ever with P3D v3.2 Anyone else getting a crash with Nvidia OpenGL error code 3? I'm not sure how to figure out what it is. Is this one of those dreaded OOM situations I've always heard about?

Had the issue with P3DV3.1, however, the 3.2 has the same issue which is the Scenario Starting Page, if you choose yes, the game is closed, if you choose No, the game starts but the Scenario page is also showing in the game. In addition, the setting adjustment does not work. no matter what adjustment to choose, the game don't refresh and load the new setting. Please anyone knows how to fix this. Besides, I don't know how to load a picture to AVSIM, so cannot show you the screenshot. Thanks, Nic

I just purchased ASN and once I opened it I was overwhelmed and lost I have always wanted to purchase this but been afraid because of all the posts on how demanding of VAS it is. Any newcomer tips on setting this up will be appreciated! thanks

Since my last Libs update I seem to have two versions of FTX Central Installed - version 1 located in E:FSX\Orbx\Scripts and version 2 in Users\AppData\Local\Orbx. Is this normal? Furthermore after some installs (eg OLC) it opens the original FSX Central not version 2 and asks you to select the region you want fly in. What I have noticed is that when this happens the settings in the two version may be quite different - so which one prevails? Thanks. I have been away from FS for a while and want to restart. Please tell me how to uninstall my old version of P3D and download and install the latest version. If this has already been addressed, please guide me to that thread. Thanks a Lot, Howard

Good day. I recently upgraded to P3D v3.2 by updating the "client". At first, when running PRO-ATC X, the menu would fail to display when pressing "1" on the keyboard. I was later advised in the forums to also update the "content" which I did. The menu will now display, but the format has completely changed and all the PRO-ATC X options are not present. It appears as if the menu has been "cut off" on the bottom and I can only view up to certain options. For example, when viewing my flight plan info, I can only view up to the required departure SID. I cannot see any further (i.e required arrival info, or even the exit option in the menu). So I cannot complete my flight…

I have version3.2 of p3d running pretty good but my PMDG 737 wing walkway and black lines are a bit jagged. I don't have ni running. Just wanted to know what settings I should start with. Thanks.

Right now my V3.1 is running perfectly, so I am hesitant to chance installing 3.2. My question is, I still have the client install for 3.1 on a backup drive. If I backup the content folder first, then uninstall client and content and then install 3.2 client and content, and it produces some unwanted results, can I then uninstall 3.2 client and content, and reinstall 3.1 client and replace the 3.2 content with the backup 3.1 copy?

I installed V3.2 using the fast client way and everything worked fine for a while. Then I encountered freezing while loading P3D at the appearance of the progress bar (0%) and once while taking off from 09L at KORD. To temporarily resolve this I did a repair from the same client app. Worked fine for a while then a repair did not subsequently repair it.... So I did an Uninstall of the client only, re-install, and then it worked but that is where I just got the shutdown on roll-out out from KORD's 09L Also tried to re-install content after its uninstall but that failed to improve the loading . Was wondering if I should do a complete re-install Allen

Anyone else having problems the the night lights at aerosoft heathrow on the ground they look yellow and green can't post image won't let me.

Installing addon's on my clean install of v3.2 and have had no problems til loading UT2 and I got this "Smartassembly" error saying "This feature requires that (Smartassembly) is available on this computer". I don't know what this is. Does anyone know what this means? UT2 did load but won't initiate, just get this error when loading P3d, however, P3d will load just without UT2. I went to the UT2 forum product support but could but for some reason could not connect to the support thread. I am a member of that forum. Any ideas?

Hi: This to help new users to get P3D V2 up and running for the first time, this is not the end all, this was my process that has worked very well for me and hope it helps out. My System: 3370k - 16 gig Corasir platinums - H100 Corsair water cooler - Gigabyte z77x-up7 motherboard - Titan GPU - OCZ 512MB HD OS - Samsung 512mb SSD secondary HD overclock 4.2 for now and an ASUS 27" widescreen high resolution which needs a capable GPU that supports 2560 x 1440 which a Titan does - I am using HDMI cable Your P3D.CFG file can be found here make sure your folders are set to view hidden files in windows - path is here C:\Users\user name\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Marti…

Right so I went to FSDT website and updated my "sim manager" or whatever its called that they use in the the FSDT stuff as per the the developers instructions. BUT I cannot get GSX to work in 3.2, any ideas? maybe reinstall it? Maybe its FSUPIC thats needs to be updated? Cheers@

Anyone know why my water looks like this? Tried messing with different settings but nothing changes it... the only time it doesnt look like this is when I'm over 40,000'. Also, if it helps, it looks like it's doing this in radius/rings around the plane... really annoying!

Reinstalled P3D from scratch, v3.2.2 version. I had this "issue" also in V3.1, before reinstall. I thought something was wrong with the installation, but no, Core 0 is still peaking at 100% all the time while sim is running. This is without any tweaks in prepar3d.cfg. Is this normal for 4 core i7 with HT on? I'm asking this because I'm pretty sure I saw Core 0 at 10-20% before in v3/v3.1, which should be normal since Core 0 is for fibers? If it is for fibers, why it is stucked at 100% while the airplane is staionary on runway for 5 minutes? I notices some pretty nasty stutters before complete reinstall in both 3.1 and 3.2.2, first I though it is ASN but the stutters were…

I am getting an error that is preventing me from running P3D. During installation I get an error message "Could not find UI resource directory." but the installation proceeds and completes suceessfully. However, when I try starting P3D, I get the same "Could not find UI resource directory." and it won't start. Any ideas how to fix this?

Guys hold up on loading any REX4 textures into P3D V3.2 REX Statement A hotfix for Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D v3.2 will be issued soon. All other updates are only valid for Microsoft's Flight Simulator X, Steam Edition, and Lockheed Martin's v2 to v3.1

On March 9 I purchased Prepar3D v3 Academic License however was unable to install it because of a missing Windows Installation file. I have since been told that v3 is not compatible with my operating system, Vista Ultimate 64bit. I was also told that v1 IS compatible. How can I download v1 without having to pay for an additional license. My system: Vista Ultimate w/sp 2, AMD Phenom II X4 970, 3.5 GHz 8 GB Ram, 64 bit os, FSX, GSX, RC, REX Tex Dir & Soft clouds, ASNext, PMDG 737/47/777, A2A Cherokee 180/Comanche 250, Carenado PC-12 and more.

A few folks in other topics have wondered whether the v3.2 scenery LOD has increased. Re-using the technique I applied to compare FSX and previous P3D versions it looks like nothing has changed. First image is v3.2 and second image is a previous screen shot I took back then (v2.4?). Ignore the shading differences/sun reflection - I can't remember the exact time/season I took the original screenshot so cannot replicate exactly. Remember white=1024x1024 mipmap, red=512x512, magenta=128x128 etc. The image is a top-down view covers a few hundred square miles around Plockton strip in Scotland with slider set to max in settings. andy boez

I never get crashes till 3.2 Well i updated to 3.2 and when P3D loads and i select a default airport, plane and click on OK no load bar comes up and it crashes straight away. Aiplayer.dll

Hey Guys, i also want to use DSR but i have a question: Is it needed to set the resolution of the windows desktop also to the DSR Resolution or is it enough to set the resolution in P3D ? Becasue even with 150 % "zoom" the files in the windows explorer are looking realy "ugly". It`s hard to read them. The desktop icons are looking good i can live with them, but the icons and text in windows explorer are very hardly readable :( I have a 1920x1080 Monitor and i´m actualy using 3x DSR Resolution setting = 3325x1871 Thanks for your input
