Hi there guys, I have Prepar3d v3 installed and have some great scenery but I would like to have some more detailed aircraft sat at the gates than the default ones that come with the scenery packs. What add on will be best for this? Thanks, Kian

I mean really? On a first sight after I updated I got a feeling that default clouds are more concrete but still soft as Soft Clouds. And I think their shape are more random than REX ones. Maybe I'm delusional, not sure right now. Whatever it is, it's good to stick with default clouds until REX release an update.

This is strange, although I think it must be somthing to do with SimConnect, what do you think? First flight with update (P3Dv3.2.2) was LEPA/LIRF in the Aerosoft A319, no problems, perfect from start to finish (except having to manually catch the glideslope, but that's another story) The second flight, however, was a different story. ENGM/ENBR PMDG 737NGX. Everything started fine, asked for clearence (ProATC) and deboarding (GSX), no probs. Untill I tried to ask for Pushback, no response from either ProATC or GSX. Had to abandon flight. So bottom line, works fine with A319/320 but not with PMDG 737NGX, any ideas? I am at present re-flying ENGM/ENBR in the Airbus, smooth…

OK...maybe not all acronyms, but at least one I haven't been able to figure out, and thought maybe simmers new to our world could benefit from a listing of all the acronyms we throw around around here that are easy for us, but for them, not so much. Hello! It's that time of the year that I refresh my system and reinstall all of my addons. So far P3DV3 and all of the addons I have are uninstalled, both from the Programs and Features and the actual folders are deleted. Anything secret, like in the deep registries, that I also need to take care of, I want my computer to be as if P3D and my addons were never even installed. Thanks

I have EMT 3.0.925 and disabled virtualfsx in it. I uninstalled the P3D Client. During client install "Prepar3D cannot run because it could not write Prepar3D.cfg". When I go into C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 and try to modify the file I get access denied. I can see that I am an administrator and UAC is never notify. Any hints?

Anyone successfully get this installed? If so, would you be willing to post some instructions. I tried to fool it as it wants to install v2. I did make a scenery entry but that's as far as it went. There is a manager applet that comes with it, but it failed to locate files. The manager app path and filename was incorrect. The manager app was looking for folder without "California" appended which was contained in one of the inner folders from the root folder "Aerosoft". How long does it take to create a new install? p3dv3 has been out for quite awhile. Oh well, maybe I am too demanding, Bob

Seems that Flight1 this time has beaten ASN with the update. The automated updater shows a new version 1.05 compatible with 3.2 (both of the latest published versions). Trying this out later tonight.

Hi all, New to Prepar. I have a question. Can I install Perpar into separate designated drive? FS Global 2010. Is there anyone who has 2010 FS Global version on DVD and FTX compatibility add-on? Is it possible to add FS Global 2010 to Prepar v3 or do I have to purchase it from the scratch. And finally, is it worth of adding it at all? I will add FTX Global, vector etc... Kind regards, Tom

Hi Guys, I'm in abit of a fix. I just update the Texture Direct and lost my settings. Now i cant remember on how do i set the path for the weather engine under the Configuration Settings and Optimization for ASN. Would appreciate if someone could guide me please. Thank you Regards

I can not have these airports working under V 3.1 I followed all the instructions like installing to a separate folder and adding the scenery afterwards but nothing is working This is what recommended at flytampa site I can not see the airports after installation , only standard scenery comes. any recommendations ?

I know many addons are not yet compatible with 3.2. I've disabled objectflow.dll and can get into the scenario page fine. But when loading a flight it crashes with the above as the faulting module. I thought it was FSUIPC but pete says 4.494h works fine with 3.2. Could it be MyTraffic 6? Anyone else had this problem?

Hey All, So I am a bit confused. I uninstalled 3.1 completely before the move to 3.2 and did so though the windows application uninstaller. But when I put in my activation key, I get the error (9022) which states "A licensing error has been detected. Error: The Product Option ID authorized in the license is invalid or not for this application". I then cleaned my entire drive which is exclusively for P3D and also cleaned my registry. Any idea what is going on?

Hi all, This morning I upgraded to v3.2 After that I checked and it booted into the scenery perfectly. Then I did some other things. Later I loaded P3D again and made s short test flight. Everything was working fine. After shutting down P3D again I did some other things. Just now I wanted to make a longer flight. The Gui loads , but when clicking OK no Status Bar appears and whithin 10 seconds P3D closes itself... I deleted the p3d.cfg file , but no relief. All suggestions are welcome.

Wonder if it was intended to coincide with 3.2...

Hi! Im gonna do a full reinstall of P3D and want to keep my settings and calibrations from FSUIPC. Which of the files from the Modules folder should i keep? And is it that easy so i can just put the file/files back in the folder when i have reinstalled P3D and FSUIPC?

Got 3.1 running now and it looks good thanks to all for their various insights on whether or not to proceed w/ installing 3.1. I've admittedly lost patience for 'fixing' problems w/ flight simulators so from hence forth will try hard to stick w/ the edict of only installing software that is confirmed to have a completely effective P3D V3 installer. No will be moving files here and there, modifying config files, etc to make anything work. I was more risk tolerant in the past but those days are over now. So do we have an HD mesh product that is for all practical purposes plug and play and is the best out there? I am confused on what LOD really constitutes what, for…

I do not wish this post to be taken the wrong way, just as constructive thinking. While I was was using FSX I purchased all their products including the 737NG, both 747's, both FS9 and FSX MD-11's, and the both 777's and NGX. I reluctantly re purchased the NGX for P3D and really did want the B777's again but I noticed that the 777's are much higher in price than their FSX models when they are no different in the basics. I do realize that PMDG are better for eye candy but functionality is the same in the Captain Sim version. Captain Sim had a sale for their 777. I paid £18.0. for the 200-300, so why would PMDG expect me to pay a massive £117.27p for theirs…

Hi Folks, Is there a trick to get a reasonable amount of traffic with UT2 ? I've been through the UT2 interface and set both GA and Commercial to 100%... I've configured P3D for 100%... All the airports I've checked and I've checked many are all sparsely populated with AI Traffic... Thinking that maybe the default UT2 schedule wasn't up to snuff - I purchased the most recently available updates and there is no change... I've tried pushing the ctrl-shift-f12 key a bunch - notta... I'm thinking maybe the parking codes aren't matching at airports - but - when I select the choice in the UT2 interface - it crashes...
