Not sure best place to post this one - but am running 737NGX P3Dv3 version - have downloaded a few liveries through the operations centre but want to give some other ones a try (mainly ANA and JAL) - but these were designed for FSX - will they work with my P3D version and if yes what location do I loaded them to be able to install them?(can't find a liveries location in my operations centre location)

I did a flight into KHND last night and noticed that the airport seems to be sunken into the ground releative to the scenery near it. I'm guessing it's some kind of elevation issue but I've never seen anything like it before.. Can anyone help me rectify it? I'm using Freemesh X - ORBX global + vectors... Thanks, James

Hi. Since I'm on P3Dv3 and couldn't find a general scenery forum I thought I would ask my questions here. I've been reading a lot of comments on the forums regarding ORBX and GEX/UTX. I've decided to buy ORBX FTX Global base, Vector, Open LC Europe, Open LC NA/Alaska/Can, UTXv2 Europe, and UTXv2 USA and decide for myself which I like best. Now, for the questions. It is my understanding that I can install all of these and just use the ones I want by making the others inactive in the Scenery Library. Is that correct? Also, it seems that UTXv2 Europe and UTXv2 USA basically take the place of both ORBX Vector and Open LC Europe/NA. Correct? My ultimate plan was to …

Can someone tell me how to set up the flaps to work incrementally within P3D. By this I mean to go through each of the flaps stages and not to go from Flaps Up to Full Flaps Down in one action. I would appreciate any help please. Michael

Ladies and gents, I am happy to announce that after so many years, I finally decided to leave FSX and go with P3D. But guess what? I have a dilemma which has been killing me for over 3 days. I recently installed P3DV3.1 and also recently got a new EVGA 970 card... This along with Intel I-7 6700K, on a Windows 7, 64bit. The problem I have is the graphics tend to shiver, or jiggle. Not sure how well to explain it, but when I pan outside the scenery jiggles like when you shake jello- that's how the ground looks like. Hi Guys, I have this small problem of shimmering of the airport and other textures. Is there anyway to stop that and keep the textures solid? Rather annoying. Any feedback and advise is appreciated. Thanks Guys Regards

Lately I been having trouble with my key board while running P3d V3.1. My keyboard buttons will just not work at all until I reset my computer. Anyone have any ideas on this? I am running the following.... ASN Avliasoft EFB PMDG 737 Other joysticks I have are.... Throttletek 737 v1 GF-MCP PRO Appreciate any help.

I must say this product is really simple (no pun intended). I own EZDOK but have looked at other alternatives and must say I think I will purchase SimpleCam as a replacement in P3D. I never leave the flight deck so I don't need the theatrical outside shots or wing views etc as that is EZDOK's specialty and for simmers that enjoy those views. I can set up 10 views very quickly and there is nothing to add to my exe.dll file and only a few keys in the controls that needed to be modified. Works with simconnect even on a second computer. Its made by the same people of Aivlasoft EFB. Just my two cents and extremely mini review.

I am repeating myself from the title, but are Rex4 and Rex Soft Clouds compatible with P3D v3.1. I already own copies of both, but have been using them in FSX Steam. Thanks and happy flying!

i've had P3D for around 6 months now and I have never encountered any problems. But from yesterday I started P3D but it then came up with the loading screen but then immediately closed down but still saying it was running. HELP!

Hi everybody, Since this is the most popular forum for flight simming (i guess), I'll annoy y'all with my questions! I currently own FSX for a few year now i've tweaked it alot and enjoy it every day, BUT i've heared P3D v3 is really good. So I'm now considering to purchase P3D but I've got some questions about it. Looked some up on the interwebs but you know how people can respond... So: -Is it worth purchasing? -Should I buy Acadamic or Professional, and are their alot of differences? (I'm undergraduate) -Which of the two is better optimized? (runs smoother) -Can you really 'convert' some addons over? Thanks for the responds!

Hello folks, I have some problems with my P3D. All my aircraft addons are not working and I found at the web that I need a different d3d11.dll. My version is the 10.0.10240.16384 but this version is not working for me. Can someone send me another version, which should works fine in P3D V3.1 ? Thank you in advance

Hi! The Gf-Config 2,26 software can't be downloaded on GF's support page. The link takes me to a dropbox page where it says that the file is moved or deleted. Is there anyone who can share that file with me. I got it working just fine now. Great tool to record with and now that i have NGX/777 emmersion as well and world cam working its just amazing with the lights and effect. Did 3 playbacks on approach and it does not hurt VAS either. Only seems like the flaps settings is not recorded Will try recording a hole flight and maybe load it as traffic Other than that is great Michael Moe

Just recently got NGX and being trying to get the weather radar to work.....so have a few questions 1)I start ASN in the background then P3D and have been usually selecting in game Active Sky Next weather theme rather than one of the themes such as building storm - but what I find is that once I am in the cockpit and have the radar setup (WX then test) I don't get weather appearing until from the drop down menus I select one of the themes - then everything comes to life - not sure if this means the ASN theme has no bad weather to report for the area or am I doing something wrong in the setup?(but selecting the ASN theme usually brings up nothing on the radar but the othe…

As there have been a reasonable of downloads of Wildlife+, could a few of the P3D users please provide some feedback on whether it is installing and functioning correctly in P3D. I have so far only had feedback from FSX users so don't know how P3D users are going. The exe was compiled with the FSX SP1 Simconnect DLL to try and get compatibility across all FSX & P3D with one exe, but in some cases this doesn't seem to be working as intended, and I did subsequently compile a FSX SP2 DLL version for people having problems. So ive looked through just about every topic I can on here and facebook etc. I currently have an i7 4790k at 4.7ghz with 16gb ddr3 1866 ram and a EVGA 980ti SSC 2.0+ GPU I can get great frames in P3d however I cant seem to get rid of microstutters. Ive tried from Affinity mask to fiber time to Decreasing settings to increase etc. Along with setting an external fps limiter and Im not sure what to do. Everybody with similar specs has super smooth performance and me Im stuck with a stuttering mess. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Can only one person control the plane? My friend was "slave" and he couldn't input any rudder or joystick. He could only control switches and the MCDU. Is it supposed to be like this or is it a glitch? I was the only one who could input rudder and joystick.

Here is what happens: The stick works perfectly until I let go of it. Its intermittent. some times when I let go of the stick the virtual stick slams to the left leading to a very aggressive bank to the left. The sidewinder is still centered during all this. Provided I don't experience a structural failure I can recover by grabbing the stick and correcting. Anyone else experience this? And does anyone know a solution?

I couldn't find this information anywhere on the Internet before I tried it so I'll post it here in case anyone cares. The Carenado C152 works perfectly fine in P3D 3.1. You only need to change the file path during installation to point to your P3D directory. Carenado doesn't list it as being P3D compatible but I had no problems during installation and in a quick test flight it worked perfectly.
