LM has rights to use Microsoft code you already paid for in FSX, and yet you pay for P3D. ...You're thinking along the lines that if it were a replacement car then the metal has to be sourced again and so you expect to pay for it. But code can simply be copied at no cost, right? Steve, I agree with the points you mention. I noticed you are a developer, and what you do, certainly takes a lot of knowledge, time, and skills. My desire (and of many), is they could offer a discount considering what other developers are doing, and considering many users are leaving FSX... a sim which after many years many have been reluctant to get rid of; this especially due to the amount of money invested on it. However, I personally appreciate the tremendous effort developers do. I would not even know where to start in developing any of these products. So, this is something I highly appreciate. Without these products, we wouldn't be simming.
