I recently noticed my lazy tendency to not push my rudder pedals - especially in GA aircraft and especially when I'm flying offline. There's no feedback in the seat of my pants and if I'm looking outside I'm not usually paying close attention to the turn coordinator. Online I typically fly IFR so I do look at my instruments and try to make coordinated standard rate turns because that is what ATC expects. How often do you fly coordinated?

When I go to my outside view and then go back to my Virtual Cockpit my ground textures instantly become blobs of green or whatever color the ground is. I just noticed this is happening and is there a fix for this?

I have reinstalled P3d 2 times after deleting all folders pertaining to it and the PMDG 777. Now every time I try to use the PMDG 777 it asks for activation and says it activated successfully but no landing gear and black gauges. I have been contacting PMDG and did the sim connect (all 3), but get the same result. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi. Besides PMDG products are there any commercial jets available with official installers for P3D v3? I don't know if it's my imagination, but it seems like availablity of planes of all types for P3D v3 is a little slow. Maybe not. Thanks, Jeff

With the release of V3 developers were encouraged to install addons outside of the main Prepar3D V3 folder, this sounds like a good idea by eradicating the tedious task of reinstalling addons in the event of an update or user reinstall particularly scenery and aircraft. I have started installing scenery in it's own folder on another drive and have to say it works well, especially for saving on disk space in the main prepar3D v3 folder(good for us that have a smaller SSD). I recently purchase the RealAir Lancair Legacy and the installer did, in fact, install onto my C drive under Realair, separate from my E drive Prepar3D. I just got PMDG 737 for Prepar3d v3.1. My cursor arrow will flash over some of the click spots and the adjusting "hand" will flash also. Is there a fix for this? The cursor works on the spots fine, just flashes.

I just had a look at my programs and features list and I saw that there is no ESP Simconnect client listed. Normaly it's there after P3D installation and I think to remember I've seen it in the list before, but now it's not there anymore. I tried repairing P3D, I tried reinstalling P3D, but still no ESP Simconnect. Can someone help me out by explaining how to (re)install ESP Simconnect Client, please?

Due to a terrible mistake on my part I accidentally deleted the cameras.cfg file from my P3D v3.1 installation. Would it be possible for someone to copy and paste the contents of the default here so that I can get the sim to work again? Thank you.

Looks like CAE is in the process of purchasing Lockheeds commercial flight training division. Hi Folks. In P3D simobjects there are whales, zebras, elephants etc. Does anybody know where abouts one needs to be flying to see these in the scenery please. Also, what has to be set in the P3D Settings, so they show up? Thanks John

Hello everyone! Just so everyone knows, I am aware that if im using all those addons ill be getting bad fps but not as bad as i thought. So i just got accepted into Qantas Virtual so ill be doing my flying in Australia, and who better for scenery than ORBX?! So I load up P3D, select YBBN (Brisbane, with all patches and I have taken out all the major FPS killers in the control panel except for PeopleFlow.) and I load up my 737. My FPS during the day time is only at 20 at the gate with the plane systems on! I am currently running an i7 4770K OC to 4.4 with a 980ti and a 1920X1080 monitor at 144hz. If I upgrade to a new 27 inch 2560X1440 monitor at 144hz, will I lose FPS? I currently use NVI with 4XSGSSA to clean the AA up, which it does beautifully, I assume I could lower that number or dump it all together with the higher resolution monitor. Hi everyone Last time I've low frame rate on Prepar3d V3.1. I search online for tweaks and tips to improve my frame rate. But nothing helped really. When I start with a flight my frame rate is around 20-30 FPS. But when I takeoff it drops to 8-12 FPS and it does not rise anymore. The settings on P3D I played from low to medium and even high, but there is no big different. Only around 2 frame rates. Also I tried it with Active Sky Next, but there is no really different between 2 and 5 layers. I've also looked at REX Texture Direct but this was already at low. Hi guys I currently run a 980ti with an i7 4790k over clocked to 4.7ghz on windows 10 For some reason I cannot run any sort of autogen trees or buildings or increase my texture resolution above far left sliders. If I do for any of these then my gpu rises from the 45-55% range all the way up to 99% and I get major stutters etc I'm not sure what's going on here at all. In my v3.0, if I look directly behind the Arch in St Louis (towards the city) I see several floors of what look like floating windows - no building there at all. Does anyone else see this? Is it there in v3.1? I wonder what other "Easter Eggs" (intended or otherwise) are in P3D? Ron

I have had the Turbine Duke and Legacy 2 both working superbly in P3DV3 - Windows 8.0. They work for days and then I lose them! No matter what I try (including numerous re-installation's) I keep getting an error message when loading either of the Realair aircraft. Both are of course installed in directories outside P3D as recommended. Error Encountered MMSystem - Unspecified Error Full Error Code 0x88780078 Location 10 File It's a progressive error message. Yes, I know they have a forum of their own but after spending 10 minutes to re-register I found out I didn't have access to ANY of the support forums so that's why I am asking this here... I started using ProATC/X again (after a few years of not using it) in P3D v3.1 and I like it but I keep on running into the same problem: whenever I pass the last waypoint of a STAR before the first waypoint of the approach ATC clears me back to that previous waypoint and I end up flying in circles around it. I installed Wideview and it is llocated in the dll.xml.. Sometimes it shows up on menu and other times it doesn't. Any way to correct this? So I have been tinkering with the AM since 3.1 to see which fits my system and configuration best. I've noticed a oddity with setting the AM though. If I use an AM of 248 (11111000) the cores used in reality are 11101000. Same for 252, the core after the main thread is not used by the sim (11110100 instead of 11111100). The way to fix this is to go into the task manager right-click and click change affinity then simply press ok without changing anything. Now, this fixes the problem and the sim starts using the core previously not being used. However, it creates another anomaly where the main thread no longer works to 100% and I believe it is also causing sudd…
